Thought of a rough character already

Nationality: Poland

TSF Role: Storm Vanguard
Background: The only memories of his homeland and his father rests in the pictures given to him by his mother, of which he keeps two on him during all of his missions. Rath would constantly pick fights with known bullies as a child no matter the odds of victory always making light of the situation. This behavior followed him well into his years at the academy where he quickly became known as a jokester and faced discrimination because of his nationality.

Training to become a TSF pilot was a very serious endeavor to him though he would never let anyone see it. He wasn't doing it for his fallen homeland or his deceased father, Rath wanted the world to be able to laugh and smile without the looming threat of extermination. Of course he would never give this answer freely, he couldn't risk people perceiving him as sentimental. That being said, he attempts to get along with everyone often using his light-hearted nature to break-up fights and serious arguments.

Eventually he found himself under the command of the 231st Tactical Armored Battalion: "The Grey Wolves" after spending a short time with a Soviet unit. The animosity between the capitalists and communists do not matter as much to him as it does to his comrades. He is prepared to fight beside his fellow humans if it means the end of the BETA.

Description(Optional; Picture is fine): Emile stands at a respectable six foot four inches bolstering an muscular frame. His golden blonde hair is a physical trait that most of the Volstryggr family possess. His voice is not the smooth, beautiful voice of his sisters but it does carry with it a inspiring conviction and enlightened speech.

Background: Emile is the eldest son of the Volstryggr family among his three other siblings and has been raised since birth to assume the responsibly of keeping world peace that each generation of Volstrygrr have protected and fought for. As such, his education is among the best the world can offer which is reflected his high intelligence and expertise in the arcane arts. The infamous charisma that the Volstryggr are known to have resides within him, using his guile to ignite a bit of drama and chaos every one in awhile. While the majority of his family are more humble in regards to their fame, Emile readily embraces it acting as a sort of paragon for the masses. In his short time as Global Peace-keeper, he has established himself as a symbol akin to a hero rather rather than a wise advisor.

Magic in Volstryggr

Magic has existed since the foundations of the earliest civilizations and the more advanced practices reserved to the wealthy elite. In the beginning there existed only four elements: fire, water, air, and earth. Within the last 500 years, the newest arcane elements were discovered including light, dark and the strangest of them all: null. These core elements form the basis of current magical education with the world with none mastering all of them.

Arcane

Arcane magic requires intense mental focus and requires a great deal of finesse in order to wield its potential. In order to wield a specific element, one must understand the nature of its power and feel the emotions tied to them. It is for this reason that no one can fully master all the elements, as mastery of an element requires years of research, meditation, and reflection. Those who have are considered masters of their element are called Magisters and hold a great deal of influence and respect within most corners of soceity. Those who master more than one element have the title of Grand Magister and are considered the most powerful people in the world. There are only eleven total Grand Magisters in the entire world.

Spiritual

The common citizen often refers to this as one's 'soul' or 'spirit', while not entirely wrong it is a incomplete definition. All living being possess a measure of spiritual magic however it is not equal across all members of one race. It is very unlikely that an untrained individual could directly use but there have been cases where extreme stress or trauma has brought forth its power. The first step in utilizing spiritual magic is intense physically training of one's body and senses. It is through this training that one's spiritual magic increases and starts to use the most basic of abilities. Spiritual magic increases one's natural, physical abilities beyond what their body could do alone and is most often used by elite soldiers but a market for recreational fights has begun to attract civilian users of spiritual magic. Masters of spiritual magic are referred to as 'Champions' and often teach their ways to the next generation in the later years of their life.
