Soren smiled when Juniper put her hand on his shoulder. He swallowed and nodded. “Thank you. That means a lot.”

As others moved past him, Soren looked at them for the first time. Different personalities, different vibes. What struck him the most was the other boys… other men… that were present. Just unapologetically existing in the coven. He hadn’t realized until now how his grandmother’s beliefs had stayed with him. That he was an irregularity. That he didn’t belong. Seeing them here, existing unapologetically as witches, made him think that maybe his grandmother was wrong. He eased a little.

He cleared his throat gently and stepped further inside, adjusting the strap of his satchel. “I don’t have a room preference, whatever’s free is fine. I’m not particular.” He said, glancing toward Juniper before looking back at the others. “If anyone needs help carrying things upstairs, or unpacking safely…” His fingers glowed with white Light Magika for a moment. “…or if you’re feeling lightheaded after travel, I can help with that too.” A small self conscious smile followed. “I promise I’m more useful than I look.”

I’d be lying if I said seeing this didn’t inspire my Boy Band Superheroes RP…

I wasn’t going to join because I feel weird writing about those themes from a female perspective when I am in fact a gay guy… But after sleeping on it, I might have an idea.

Boy Band Superheroes

A thought popped into my head, and I want to see if there’s interest before developing this further.

Premise

They are an internationally famous boy band. Topping the charts, selling out stadiums, screaming fans, the whole shebang. One day, while performing a charity concert at a science expo, something went wrong. A prototype clean energy generator malfunctioned and exploded mid performance. The band helped protect the crowd. They should have died. Except they didn’t. Instead, they soon discovered they gained superpowers.

Now they must balance international idol Fame, with secret Superhero identities. There will be drama.

I’m picturing this being fun and campy. With some serious moments and character development.

I want a small group. (4 players.)

I know KPop Demon Hunters is really popular right now, but this is not a KPop group. I don’t want to limit the races of the characters. That being said my character might be Korean.

LGBT stuff is highly encouraged. My character is gay. 😉
