This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.
My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

Your latest revision is on point. Please, feel free to post it to the 'Characters' tab and begin posting IC as soon as you like. I'll put you in the 0th OOC and Characters posts as soon as you get you character sheet moved over.
Oh. I was aware of that, just confused by the fact that beginners seemed to have pokemon already so i figured it was the case(namely the one with the ghastly given the backstory). When I'm out of college I'll fix it up.
Oh yeah. I see. @dimitri's character, with the Ghastly, has not been approved for that exact reason. Check the 0th "OOC" post and 0th "Characters" post. There you will find all users and trainers that have been approved and marked as active.
While I love your character, you have accidentally cheated. When trainers start in this RP, they are supposed to start at the point where they only have a Pokedex and one Poke Ball. Your first IC post is where you're supposed to catch your first Pokemon.
A giant demon, known as Death's right hand man had risen from the ground in spectacular fashion. "Hey Balthazar, you see this? I never thought that old man would actually do anything like this. You've really done yourself quite a good place here." The giant demon then strode off towards the city outskirts, directly toward the angel Aquilina. Finally some REAL action!
Balthazar's telepathic response was targeted at the giant demon, but he made no effort to hide the message from those nearby, "I'm glad you like what I've done with the place! HAHAHA!"
A shining light grew in the distance. The angel Zaphiel had finally left the comfort of her perch. Steadily, she was making a direct line towards Balthazar. Angels were gathering behind her as she approached. Balthazar's loud taunting voice rang throughout the skies. "Oh, I see you want to play, Zaphiel! But really? All of you against little ole' me? Hardly seems fair! HAHAHA!"
As Balthazar's laugh echoed across the city, winged demons began descending from the very cloud that was his body. One after another, they kept coming. Their faces were filled with malice and destruction. They were not empowered by some second hand fog, they had breathed in the very cloud of Balthazar. Soon, when the two forces met, the skies would rain down with the fiery blood of demons and the glorious blood of angels. Balthazar appetite grew in anticipation of this scene.
Nick walked into the Poke Center with the wild Krabby in his arms, Little Guy in his Pokeball, and Feathers on his shoulder. When the nurse came to greet him, she immediately noticed the crack in Krabby's back. "Oh my, why isn't this Krabby in its Pokeball? He's not fainted, some rest in his Pokeball would heal him right up. Same goes for that Starly, she looks a little tired."
"Yeah..." Nick said, trying not to sound like that was news to him. 'Do Pokeballs really heal Pokemon?' he wondered. "But he's not my Pokemon you see, he's a wild Pokemon that we battled. Obviously we won, but he got hurt pretty bad."
"Oh, I see." the brown haired nurse began, "You know, most trainers would catch a Pokemon after winning." She gently took the wild Pokemon from Nick's grasp, smiling slightly up at the average height young man.
Nick sighed and figured that he might as well quit acting tough. "Look, I'm still new to this whole Pokemon trainer thing, but... you know... I haven't caught either of my two Pokemon that way. In fact, I'd rather not catch a Pokemon that doesn't want to be caught."
"Ahh... that's very kind of you." She then turned to take Krabby to an operating room, at the same time saying, "We'll be done in about thirty minutes." Nick waited till after she left to put Feathers away in her Pokeball. The nurse's voice was very soothing, but the way she said 'kind' ached at him the whole time.

It was close to sundown when Nick arrived back at the river bank, still carrying a healthy, happy Krabby. His two other Poke partners led the way, Feathers flying and Little Guy walking. He carefully walked across the stones, up to the water's edge. He then carefully sat the Krabby down. "Take care of yourself." Without further adieu, he turned to walk away. He made it back to the grass before turning around. Little Guy, Feathers, and the wild Crabby were still in the same spot, talking. "Come on guys, it's getting late." After a few moments, all three Pokemon came back to Nick.
"Krabby! Krabby!"
And that's how Nick, caught his third Pokemon, the tough guy pokemon, Krabby!
I'd like to make my next post before bed tonight. Maybe @thewizardguy can get first IC post up before then. Either way, Balthazar is ready to stir up a little more trouble for the new faces!
I see you add TP to your character as +1 +5 +50. I get the 50 TP, from an old mission. But it's not a 5 point TP bonus for your first post of the month. It's 5 points INSTEAD of 1 point, 4 extra TP if you will.
The last day of October is tomorrow. You must post as your character before the end of tomorrow in order to take advantage of benefits such as 5 TP instead of 1, and ALL Pokemon in your party gaining a 3 level boost (daycare Pokemon get a 2 level boost).
As Durwith drew his axes, a worried look ran across the young elf apprentice's face. He had hoped the brute would have just tried to battle hand-to-hand. Actual Bladed Weaponry scared him to no end. He hadn't gotten that far in his training yet. He had to be careful. (+1 power for weakness)
Whether it be due to luck or skill, the seemingly outclassed elf did not go down very easily. In fact, the two seemed evenly matched at first. Blow for blow, the elf stood his ground. (1st roll turns up a tie)
But this wouldn't last long, soon the Dwarf would gain the edge, if only just... (2nd roll turns up victorious by only 1 point.)
(Either, Durwith underestimated his enemy, or he toyed his way to victory... player's call.) (Durwith earned 1 XP for victory)
