And no worries. This RP is a long term RP, there will be stints of inactivity, but as long as I don't throw in the towel, the show will go on. And no towels are being thrown any time soon. :)

Hey there, I hope everyone is doing well. I apologize if anyone has been waiting for more content from my end. I have been busy, as I'm sure we all have been. But if you are waiting for something in particular, please let me know. I'll work on it.

On a loosely related note, one of my new challenges in life is my new lifestyle. In order to save money, I have been living out of my car. I've been doing this since the beginning of this month. If you're interested in following me on this endeavor, I have actually started a private Wordpress blog. If you send me an email address (via PM), I can give you access.

Again, I only mention this, because this is part of why I haven't been hands on with this RP lately. But again, if anyone has a specific request regarding this RP, let me know.

All missions are either driven by the story or help drive the story (i.e. they are pulled by the story or push the story along). It's really the mission rank that is important here. "A" rank missions do some heavy pushing/advancing of the plot. While "D" rank missions are consequences of what has already happened in the story.

ABOUT MISSIONS: A Guidebook

Missions are made of six elements: Title; Dates; Rank; Location; Description; Rewards

Title: Self explanatory. The important thing is to always title your IC posts with the title of the mission you are doing. This way, multiple missions can be going at once, but we still know who's with who.

Rank: There are three different mission ranks: 'A', 'B', and 'C'. A-Rank missions have a higher post count requirement to finish and require a character to be of the correct rank. C-Rank missions are opposite of A-Ranks, having a low post count requirement to finish and any Pokemon trainer can participate in them. B-Rank missions sit comfortably in the middle of these two extremes.

Location: Missions are tied to real life locations, some more tightly than others. Some will have you completing a certain task in a certain town or place. Others can be hunts or problems than could take you all over the world.

Dates: Here, you will find the date that a mission becomes available and the latest date by which the mission can be completed. I don't suggest using all the time available for one mission, especially lower ranked ones. That will prevent you from accepting other missions later that might conflict with the first mission's timeline. It's better to start the mission as soon as possible and end it as soon as realistically possible.

Description: Mission descriptions can be split into two parts. First they provide IC flavor (setting the scene and so on). Then they give specific directions on what needs to be done to complete the mission. This can be defeating a certain number of opponents, catching certain Pokemon, posting a certain number of times, and more.

Rewards: While there is a monetary system in this RP, it is purely for flavor. Important rewards will be things such as evolution items, hold items, special Pokeballs, RP-specific items, and so on). Usually, it is upon completion of a mission that you will receive rewards, but some rewards may be given at the beginning of the mission, to aid in the mission's completion. And finally, there will sometimes be hidden bonus rewards, but these are never guaranteed.

Right in the middle of Pissaro's attack, the wild Misdreavous began to shout (Astonish). This caused Pissaro's concentration to break and allowed Misdreavous the time to get in close for an attack... After a few minutes of fairly one sided battling, Mr. Mime soon found himself laying flat on his back, while Misdreavous floated away.

Result: Misdreavous Wins

Just then, a young trainer with a red hat came up from behind. He spoke steadily and from a safe distance, trying not to startle her. "Sorry you lost there kid, Psychic-types just aren't a good match for Ghost-types... Oh sorry, how rude." He held out his hand. "Name's Red."

(Quick Note: This is indeed Red from the games and Pokemon Origins. I don't intend for him to be joining your character or anything. This is just a cameo. Feel free to control his speech and actions in your next post as long as you keep it within what he might actually do and say.)

I hope everyone is doing well. I hope your fingers have enjoyed their rest. I know I needed the writing break, but to get things moving again, (in the next day or two), I'm going to post the missions that will be available after the boot camp phase. That way, you will all have something to work toward. I'll probably have this up by or before this Sunday.

"Where am I?" Everyone asks this question when they arrive. It's only natural...

You wake inside a white room — white floors, white walls, white ceiling. You wear nothing but a white hospital gown. Then a disembodied voice greets you. "Welcome warrior." A high pitched male or a low pitched female, it's hard to tell. "We are glad you have finally awoken. We hope you have rested well. Please don't be alarmed, you are safe." This is when most people feel inclined to ask questions or demand release, but for some unknown reason, you can't open your mouth. You are being forced to listen... or in some cases, watch a video of a shadowy person use sign language (in which case, you will find it impossible to close your eyes or turn your head).

This doesn't last too long though. Their explanation is brief and vague. You have been brought here because of your exceptional skills in battle. This is a place for warriors like yourself to live life as they see fit. "Have fun and do as you wish.". With nothing else to be said, one of the walls descends into the floor.

Before you is the inside of a building that resembles a modern day Earth's shopping mall, and a large one at that. Depending on the time period you came from, this may or may not be a shocking site. This would also be a great time for those with super human abilities to try an use them... only to find that they are gone. Or maybe you have a hidden gun inside your prosthetic arm... oh wait, no you don't, not anymore.

But you're not the only person here with a confused look on their face. The walkways are fairly empty, but there are a few others wearing white gowns like your own. Also, on occasion (maybe once every thirty minutes), you may see one of the walls between the shop entrances fall down to reveal another person in a white gown.

Speaking of shops, upon closer inspection, something is weird (as if this whole thing wasn't weird enough). Each shop is vastly different than the next. Some seem to have a medieval theme with swords and shields. While others have guns or even more advanced looking weaponry. Then their are also some that carry staffs and potions, as if ran by witches and wizards. There are hundreds of shops, each with their own unique theme, but all catered to some type of warrior.

The strangeness doesn't stop there. The glass door to every shop is closed and there are no doorknobs or places to push/pull. There is no obvious way to open them, at least not at first glance. It's not until you get close enough to one of these doors that the same voice from earlier will speak. "You may only enter one shop. You may not choose another. Is this your final choice? If so, step forward. If not, step back." Failing to move only causes this message to repeat.

Right about now, that pressing question is bound to be coming back into your mind, "Where am I?"...
