Now that he was gone I felt much less angry, never before had stress left me quicker, it was refreshing. "I dont believe I've gotten everyone's name, or perhaps I did and I dont remember. Not all dragons are prideful, remember that each dragon has their own combination or solitary sin, its just that pride is one of the most common. Longs are rarely prideful and their meditation periods can nullify most of their sin. Other dragons especially hellkites aren't really the 'wise' type.

@Gentlemanvaultboy Could have been, it was really the stress of the whole ordeal that caused some of his necrotic energy to leak out, which he himself doesn't even know he has that power.
I won't spoil too much, but the 'cult' he was born into are obviously not good people, their all necromancers, and there is a lot of sub conscience trauma for both his own powers and the very concept of death.

Aye its all in the fun, but I should point out that the prideful and short-tempered conditions of Jackal are a bit more then personality, dragons struggle with the sins they are born with much in the same way certain people are born with personality disabilities. So he can't really help it, though Im sure the good ol demon-I mean, DM has something good instore to 'fix' that prideful boasting eventually.

After Ed, a man who didnt seem to have much going for him voiced his opinion, Jackal gave an audible chuckle despite the situation they were in. He already knew he liked this kid, something about his simplicity reminded Jackal why he wished to blend in with these mortals in the first place. Looking over at another new member he saw some girl holding a cat. And that was when he spoke again, this time to the man speaking through the monitor. "You let me keep and grow my treasure hoard and I can tolerate these conditions. That being said, how friendly do we all have to be with each other, what if I suddenly get hungry and decide to eat one of these other fellow villains that I'm being forced to work with?"
