Kilgarrah and the primevals are all named after dragons from various mythology or other works of fiction. Kilgarrah is from arthorian legend, described as the 'greatest of all dragons', and aiding merlin at one point before being sealed under camelot. Fafnir, Niddhoggr, and Jormungand are from Norse Mythology, fafnir being a dwarf that turned into a dragon, Niddhogr a dragon born from loki that was trapped under the world tree, and Jormungand, Niddhogr's brother that was described as a massive serpent as long as the world itself.
Mizuchi and Ryujin are from eastern mythology, Mizuchi being a water dragon spirit, and Ryujin the Dragon God. Typhon was the greek God/titan of monsters, described as a multi-headed man-dragon/serpent. Smaug and Ancalagon were from tolkien's writings of middle earth, Smaug being famous from both the books and movies, and Ancalagon being the largest dragon ever, and led a siege of dragons on sauron's will eons before lotr timeline. Tiamut and Bahamut are from Dnd (Although Bahamut is also from FF), as the two main Dragon Gods, Tiamut being a five headed evil dragon, each head representing an element, and Bahamut a platinum dragon of justice and honor.
@dragonmancer Here's Nar's hero. Yig's will come later.

Another good Hero for the cthulu davy-jones god minus the madness, accepted.

@dragonmancer How is she ?

looks good, accepted.

Name:
Kulorerstus, God of Death and Fear

Title:
Lord of the Underworld, Torturer of Souls Bringer of Famine, Master of Nightmares

Domain: The Underworld

Powers: Death and Fear power for bringing about his legend to the mortal world. Control over the dead and dying, he is truely a enemy of life and will stop at nothing to let the mortals know there isnt a light at the end of the tunnel. Hence the power behind fear. The fear of that manifests in the mortal world feeds him for as long as its needed. The screams of their agony and horror bring smiles to his face

Vulnerabilites: like any death or fear god. Courage and life are his weakness. When there is a dying soul in a family. The birth of life will have him stall the death for a time. And Courage is means for one to overcome their worst fear and he despises it for that very reason because he will loose his strength

Appearance: looking like the reaper himself a truely dark menacing look fitting for the death god and being the master of fear the perfect look for a shapeshifter to physically go to the real world and become what people fear most

Creations: wip

Worshipers: Cultists

Religion and Culture: Necro

Region or location: In the land of Nersulhiem the worship of this dark god is well known. These fearful mortals go to the nearby lands and snatch up sacrifice so that their god remains pleased and his cruelty doesnt touch their land and waste away their crops and livestock, or take the souls of the young leaving the old to whimper and suffer. They will stop at nothing to make sure their lord is pleased. Mainly peasent and nobles but never a king. No, the people of this land answer to the Oracle. A woman blessed with the word of the Dark Lord and is his voice to them. When war takes place she is the one to decide the fate of her people.

Personality: dark, cruel and twisted

Opinions: All Gods are at least aware of the existence of the other Gods in the pantheon, so naturally they would have some first impressions at the very least before the events of this RP. Provide at least a paragraph for each other God for how your God thinks of them. (WIP)

Tales: Optional, think Greek or norse tales. Something that could explain the appearance of the sun, or drama between two Gods. You can collab tales with other players, or make your own. Tales don't have to be true, they could be exaggerated or simple myths, but they could also have some truth of them, though only your God would know the truth about the Tale.

About time we got a blatantly evil god that wasn't the bane of all plague doctors. Accepted, opinions and tales can be added afterwards of course.
@dragonmancer Teresa's actually a character of my own creation. Her backstory's come to change from time to time.

Last I recall, I put her clan's name as Bol'hjar.

Sounds good to me. I like the collaboration going on here.

The char sheet for heroes are up, when accepted put them beneath your god cs.
@dragonmancer

I wanted to ask you a question regarding champions. One idea I had for Iuppiter's champions are two people named Benedict and the other being a warrior woman.

Benedict is a Drakken who has 'lost his wings' through his transgressions, and has lost his way. As an act of trust, Kilgarrah has entrusted him to Iuppiter to help him regain an honorable path. Absolutely huge drakken, over ten feet tall. Hulking creature that wields a magical cinderblock named "The Truth" as a weapon.

Teresa is the daughter of her clan's leader, who has been exiled from her clan due to not wishing to follow the clan's traditions. Thinks she can run the clan better than her brothers. A potential ruler with no kingdom. But otherwise totally human. Became friends with Benedict through her adventures.

What are your thoughts?

Also, I had another idea and @SepticGentleman and I cooked up over the past few minutes.

Kalla, Iuppiter, and Nahargu'ul create a band named "Driftwood".

Nahagu'ul plays the drums since he has the limbs for it.

Iuppiter absolutely shreds on an air guitar that still somehow makes noise.

Kalla is the singer. The Everqueen's got a voice to live for.

Their album titles will be:

Friends Like Flies Drawn to the Light
In Ellipses Twice as Vicious
Flying Through Mud
As The Tides Seem Cruel
Finding Your Way To the Sand
Jungle Running

Their both pretty good ideas, I especially love benedict. Which clan is Teresa from exactly?

Nice. So, another question, how many players are we hoping to get? We already have a pretty decent number of gods, though there are some fairly important domains missing. At this rate, nobody on Gaea will be able to swing a cat without hitting a god or goddess. Also, what's the deal with the divine realm? I get that Gaea is part of the mortal realm, but the divine realm is...what exactly? I figured it was basically a place where the gods could rest and recuperate between visits to Gaea.

Forgot to mention, with all the sheets were getting now, we definitely have enough to start player wise. I dont really have a maximum limit however.

@JunkMail@SepticGentleman Crazy. Sick. Idea. I LOVE IT ! Looking forward seeing you play xD

@dragonmancer I was thinking that we have a little time left 'till the first IC post. So...maybe you could provide us with a Hero Character Sheet ? To have'em ready when the RP starts. It doesn't matter if we won't use'em at first , just so we can have them ready for action. + we loose less time that way. A Hero CS needs approval from you , so , why use precious time to judge the CS then , when you could do it now when we are not "pressed" by time. ^_^

Yeah I'll make a skeleton for a CS for heroes shortly, I'll try to get that done first.
@Lexicon

Sorry college just started for me so I'm a bit behind. But the god realm for what ill design tonight is basically your Olympus. There will be lavish buildings, angelic servants, and a council-sort of room with a chair for each god of the pantheon, which will be the highlight of god political meetings.
@Lexicon

Approximately 100 years for the cataclysm then 200 for the silence, and the rp takes place immediately after the silence's end. also I'm impressed with the sheet, there is a lot of detail here. Aside from any corrections youre tweaking, Shes accepted as far as I'm concerned.

One little thing though regarding my God, Kilgarrah doesn't really have a leash on his dragons with the exceptions to all of but one of his primevals, the knights that take up dragon slaying and pray to the dragon god are the ones that are to stop the wild and/or evil dragons from well..being dragons. Just a detail I think you skimmed over in your god's opinion.

Edit: Also I like the colossus and the world tree, mainly the tree part because -cough- norse mythos. I was thinking that Kilgarrah's Nigghoggr could be imprisoned under the world tree as a result of its destructive nature?
@Lexicon @Karkinos You both wanna make nature gods, looks like. One of you wanna do something else or, should we have a gladiatorial match or something?

If they keep the earth and nature element seperate I think it will work. Nature would refer more to plants and animals and biomatter while earth is more of the raw earthly elements.@Karkinos

Sounds good, I think you misread my comment though, the world I'd called Gaea or earth, kilgarrah is my character-god, I was using him as an example I believe.
Have room for a death and fear god?

Sure!

@Karkinos That's actually good points.
I somehow looked past these problems while hyping GOD rp.

@dragonmancer We'll also need some guidelines on how we can enter and leave the physical world. Since i will be doing that a lot.

My fortress city can be anywhere, but i'm planning on rp-ing how my char returns and does stuff since the world has lost faith.
Preferably in the middle of a frikkin field or something. Making it stand out more.

There's probably more problems that should be addressed, but i can't come up with any now.

Gods can basically travel to the god realm by entering space in the spiritual manifestation, and can return through a gate in the god realm that sends them back into the earthly realm.

Since the elder god player won't be on for a while I'll have to start working on the OOC soon, I'll give more details there.
Actually, I'd like these question(s)/concerns addressed before I go any further:

What state will the world precisely be in at the beginning of the actual roleplay? After browsing the other applications, I'm seeing mentions of "towns and villages", even districts mentioned by name like "The Republic of Roarke", as well as descriptions of cultures and religions oriented around the ethereal cast. The bare-bones application itself strongly recommends describing a God's worshipers. Yet the OP emphasizes a "silence" where the Gods and mortals--the people that would physically construct the civilizations and cultures of the world--were isolated from one another, to the point where belief in the pantheon is pretty much non-existent. Not to mention the "cataclysm" that ravaged the world hundreds of years earlier, and both of these events together mean "the Gods have to rebuild a world that has lost faith in them", correct? That's the main hook.

Personally, I'd be much obliged to fill out a "Worshipers" slot but, reading the apps and then going to read the actual plot, I'm a little confused at what we'll be heading into. Can't have followers that don't/shouldn't exist, right? At the moment I'm assuming these other Gods' followers are no longer prevalent and places like the Republic are one of the very few thriving states around but the applications I read don't use the past tense or any other language that implies their characters' worshipers and locations are unchanged from either before or after the cataclysm and silence.

While I'm here too, have a dash of criticism: If the quintessential goal of the roleplay is to recreate the known world, it would be much more effective to give the entire "planet" an identity (assuming this roleplay takes place in a fantastical setting that mirrors our understanding of Earth and the known universe) as well as keep note of key locations instead of only doing the latter. Having consistent continents, hemispheres and water bodies, as well as knowing details like general geography or maybe knowing beforehand what kind of people and animals populate/should populate this "planet" would put everyone's characters on the same page and help prevent us from pulling questionable aspects out of our asses.

worshippers and the like apply to both the past and present, after the silence, most of the world has forgotten the gods save a few exclusive rarities here and there, which are optional. Most civilizations mentioned either no longer exist, or evolved in a godless world.

As for the geography I'm gonna start mapping out the planet one we get at least the other two gods I've been waiting for. So far I have Kilgarrah's island continent, everything else that I'm thinking of now is malleable to change.
