Current Euh. It's been a hot minute. Things are rather different for me now, and I don't know how that translates to my presence here.

I don't *think* I'm a bad person. I might be wrong there. I try not to be, even when I screw it up for want of social awareness.

Hello, I am me from the internet. I migrated here from Kongregate's Forum Games Forum, so feel free to look for me there if you wish to follow a career in internet stalking people. (ಠ_ಠ) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Infamous Quotes From People Who Exist

“I really don’t follow how your faith believes its perfectly acceptable to doom 4,000 years plus of sentient beings, on a pre-set path of no escape from sin, just so their descendants can be offered the ‘chance of salvation’ when the god murders its own son.”
~vikaTae

“Don’t be an ass or a pussy, ’lest you get screwed by life. Being a mouth or a hand is somewhat safer, and an eye socket is pretty much sacred in this regard, so always keep a look out.”

Oh, I remember you talking about this one. Unfortunately, I'm currently in a lot of other RPs at the moment, but I'll probably join up to this when I don't have so many going.
@Lady Selune@Rithy Continuing that train of thought, I'm now tempted to have Dale be a Texan Commissar. A few problems with that, however: the most junior Commissar rank is typically Cadet-Commissar, who function in units of up to twenty under a veteran Commissar's command, thus nullifying the position's importance; full Commissars could in theory be around 18 or 19 years old, but in practice are generally substantially older than that for obvious reasons; it's technically allowable for Commissars to overrule and even execute a squad's commanding officer, something that's ideally avoidable for the sake of GM control; and Commissars generally come from the Schola Progenium, for which entry requires your parents to have both died in service to the Imperium, which puts a damper on the whole "son of the Dimmadome line" joke I was going for. Although I suppose that could work in its own right... maybe. I'll probably just stick with him being a normal Texan fighter in some form or another.
@Jbcool Yeah, my bad. I've been distracted by other things. I'll get a post out ASAP; thank you for your patience.
@Kafka Komedy Seems pretty good to me. Call it "The New Justice Team" if you like.
And like that, Deprave's foe was dead. "Unconscious", rather, and much more easily than expected, but nonetheless defeated and out of the way. And when one has destroyed a dangerous foe, what else can one do but throw both fists into the air and release an almighty, primal roar of triumph that echoes throughout the entirety of whatever building you're in right now? Which is exactly what Deprave did. Shortly after which, he scooped out the brain from the Cambion's skull with one massive hand, stuffing it into his mouth and savouring the fatty taste and chewy texture before he swallowed, blood and gibs running down his chin throughout the endeavour.

'AND THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!' he continued to yell, once his initial triumph was indulged in, somewhat directing his speech at the ex-prisoners of the place whilst gesticulating with Blackgore. 'THERE'S AN ARMY COMING, AND YOU'RE ALL BEING ENLISTED INTO IT! GUNS, DESTRUCTION, CONQUEST! EVERY FOUL ACT YOUR HEART COULD DESIRE WILL COME TO YOU, AND ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS WAIT OUTSIDE THE WALLS OF THIS PRISON!' As he spoke, he noticed Snog's attempt to talk to him, and eventually sheathed the macuahuitl to pick, first his two shotguns, and then the groinless drunkard up from the ground, resheathing the weapons and hoisting the loon over one shoulder in an effortless fireman's carry.

'AND THE PRIZE AT THE END?' he continued, caught up in his glory even as he began heading back to the exit. 'EARTH! ITSELF! WILL BE OURS FOR THE TAKING! THE REIGN OF THE DAMNED OVER THE LIVING WILL BE GLORIOUS, INFINITE, AND ETERNAAAL!' Once more, he allowed a primal scream to emanate from his throat, just to further encourage the already-screaming crowd, before finally taking leave of the building, heading out to the front to holy crap Jonathan turned into a girl. That was... no, surely not? It was his armour, but the head which would otherwise have been inside its helmet was female... or was he pretending to be a guy all along? He didn't know.

But honestly, he didn't care either. This was an opportunity that couldn't just be passed up so... wait, no, shitting bitch tits. If he raped her, the rest of the party would probably try to kill him. "Try", of course, being the major term in that sentence, but they were useful for their abilities! Easily some of the strongest pawns working for him so far, other than the little bitch-boy who was missing an arm- and what a coincidence, he'd been next to the girl-knight the whole time- and that flimsy rat-thing Kritch. He didn't want to waste effort on reacquiring new minions, not when these ones had decided to willingly work for him, and they were necessary evils anyway, considering the ever-so-important nature of their rescued prisoner. So alas, he'd have to hold back on any sexual assault for now. On the other hand, manipulating them into sex was always an option too, not that he often had need of it, so he'd have that to work on, for her and the other women travelling with him, and there were others, of course. For the time being, though, he simply strolled over to where maybe-probably-girl-Jonathan and the arm-lacking bitch were, ready to go whenever the transport got there. Where was that, anyway?
@DepressedSoviet Actually, here's a thought: he can be Dale Dimmadome, son of Doug Dimmadome, owner of the Dimmsdale Dimmadome, amongst other Dimmsdale Dimmadome Dimmporate Dimmaproducts, such as the Dimmadelphia Dimmalite Network, the Dimmsdale Dimmahogs, and Dimmadome Dimmacres, where the Dimmadecrepit come to Dimmadie, twinned with the Dimmadome Dimmbalming Dimmacility where the Dimmadeceased come to be sent on their Dimmaway. Don't forget to try our Dimmsdale Dimmacones, with cream sourced fresh from our Dimmadome-sized Dimmacattle! You'll be saying "Dimmadamn!" at how good they taste!

And he'll still be super Texan, so there's that.
Ah, so this is starting at last. Count me in. I'm gonna make the most Texan Texan you 'Murr'cans have ever seen, mark my words. And he'll be based off of Doug Dimmsdale.
@Sophrus Damn. No, yeah, I can see why that'd be pretty devastating on a large scale. Incidentally, it'd also give Ophiuchi good reason to despise Galvan after the fact, for obvious reasons, and especially if the psykers used were from his own Legion. What would their relationship before said event be like, anyway? I'm imagining "strained at best", since Galvan does apparently use forbidden technology.
@Klomster Melta drill it is. Or maybe something to do with Warp energy, since that's a big thing with Chaos. Then again, Gellar fields, so perhaps just the melta drill.
Alessa Heather: PRT Headquarters

She'd seen Dean's rather negative reaction to her initial chatter, but relaxed along with him, and even managed to smile when he accepted the offer to become her second. 'Well, that's excellent!' she exclaimed. 'I'll announce the proposal to the others in the meeting, and if they have their qualms, I'll explain why. And you can pass along your idea as well, whilst we're at it. We need all the ideas we can get, what w...'

And like that, she'd saddened herself once again. She grimaced to herself, glancing down for a moment before returning her gaze to Dean. 'Well, considering our present turmoil,' she finished lamely, before standing up and holding a hand out for Dean to shake. 'So I'll see you and the others in a couple of hours. I'm going to go ahead and meditate until then. Good talk, and if you come up with any other ideas, do talk about them at the meeting.' With the end of that sentence, she turned and exited the room, heading toward her personal room in the HQ, complete with roaring fireplace. After how she'd been expending energy on trapping Eyeblight, and given her own state of mind, she needed some time to recharge, in both senses of the word.

With a few minutes left before the meeting's scheduled start, Alessa finally left the comfort of her room and headed towards the meeting hall. She'd gotten a fair amount of energy back to attack opponents, but not so much any particular peace of mind. Meditation is rather difficult when one can't shake the thought of somebody being as badly injured as Sonar was, and in turn crippled beyond functionality as he inevitably would be. Nevertheless, the impression of being wholly composed was rather important, she felt: as the new leader of the Wards, she had to set an example, to make a point that even though they grieved, the rest of the world would not stop for them, and they in turn could not stop, or else they'd be left behind.

She entered the meeting room designated for the Wards, not dissimilar to the setup in the larger conference room where the Wards met with the Director and the Protectorate, save for its reduced size and modified colouration, and was pleased to see the others had already arrived. She frowned at the presence of six seats, not five, just a further reminder that where they'd gained one member today, they'd lost another. But, the meeting was being led by her, so she took the empty seat at the head of the table, feeling that perhaps she didn't derserve the spot, shouldn't be sitting in that position. Somebody had to fill it.

'I'm happy to see you've all made it to the meeting, team,' she began, placing her hands in her lap and schooling her tone to the same formal designation as she'd used with Dean two hours before. 'As we are all acutely aware, Sonar is no longer able to fight alongside us. I, as much as anybody else, am saddened to see his loss, but it is perhaps an inevitability of the position we hold. I trust we've all accepted the risks associated with being a Ward, and with being an active parahuman in general, thus our presence in this building; Sonar, I think, would want us to continue on as soon as possible, and many others certainly do, be they the civilians we protect, or the people in charge of us.

'That said, Director Kens has set a tight deadline for my selection of a new second in command for the Wards, that being part of the reason I've called this meeting in. I have considered the matter, and firmly believe Dean would be the best possible choice for my second, by virtue of his extensive experience in fighting crime. If anybody has any reason to dispute this judgement, now is the time to say so. Additionally, I'd also like us to use this time to discuss any ideas that might help the team to integrate more thoroughly with itself, to function more effectively if you will. Dean has already intimated such an idea in private; if you'd like to discuss it further, I'm sure we'd all be willing to hear it.' She had nothing particular to say on the matter herself, but since Dean's idea involved Elliot and Ira, they at least would need to hear it to put it into effect.
