Current Euh. It's been a hot minute. Things are rather different for me now, and I don't know how that translates to my presence here.

I don't *think* I'm a bad person. I might be wrong there. I try not to be, even when I screw it up for want of social awareness.

Bio

Hello, I am me from the internet. I migrated here from Kongregate's Forum Games Forum, so feel free to look for me there if you wish to follow a career in internet stalking people. (ಠ_ಠ) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

A link to some of my past characters, which I need because static tabs do not take up internet.

Infamous Quotes From People Who Exist

“I really don’t follow how your faith believes its perfectly acceptable to doom 4,000 years plus of sentient beings, on a pre-set path of no escape from sin, just so their descendants can be offered the ‘chance of salvation’ when the god murders its own son.”
~vikaTae

“Don’t be an ass or a pussy, ’lest you get screwed by life. Being a mouth or a hand is somewhat safer, and an eye socket is pretty much sacred in this regard, so always keep a look out.”

@Jbcool@Noxious If you want muscle, Dale's got plenty for everyone. I mean, he's also lean, but you can be both lean and muscular, given that leanness is more a measure of body fat than anything else, I think.

Speaking of whom, would anybody mind if he poked his nose into Virgil's rather exceptional knowledge of Tau customs for a Guardsman? (Mostly aimed at @Lady Selune, as the GM and all.) And since we're on the topic, perhaps provide some knowledge of his own; I'm not sure how much xeno knowledge any given Commissar would possess, but since they have to go through the Schola Progenium and are evidently aware of the negative effects of the Warp and psyker abilities going haywire and other such things that a Guardsman would likely be executed for knowing, I'd assume sufficient to give a bit of tactical guidance to some backwater hicks.
Since everyone else is throwing their two pence into the fray, is it not technically true that Gork and Mork still watch over the crazy Shaman-Sorcerer to stop him being too crazy? Because if it is, and he's still got the gestalt field bending to his beliefs somewhat, it's perhaps plausible that his own belief in their protection is what's actually protecting him from most negative side effects of being a sorcerous heretic, thus reinforcing his faith in their protection. Certainly, he's very powerful as a character, but in my mind, you don't hit Mary Sue levels of characterisation unless their abilities in whatever form (be it powers, social skill/status, intellect, etc.) aren't justified, and the justification I just provided seems quite reasonable for the time being. (Though a threat sufficient to fight evenly with him despite his power would also be appropriate at some point. Really, psykers in general have major advantages over non-psykers, so.)

Incidentally, I have discovered the real planet of Texanis. Gentlemen, BEHOLD!

@Jbcool I was going to suggest a Sister Hospitaller, but we already have a medic, and putting a better medic in place therefore seems counter-intuitive. Perhaps an Inquisitional Interrogator or Explicator if you want torture prowess?

@ClocktowerEchos I'm starting to see a trend wherein my contacting people about the Inquisitor role makes them decline the Inquisitor role. Either way, I do need to sort that out as far as Charne's sheet goes, because his backstory may need drastic changes, or it may not.
@ClocktowerEchos@The Survivor If it helps you make a decision about who to set up as Inquisitor, Clock, I've yet to receive a response from @agentmanatee about possible interactions between his Inquisitor and Charne. If I could talk to Survivor privately about possible interactions between Inquisitor and retinue member, I'd be personally inclined to support him in this regard just for doing so in a more timely fashion. (Hint hint, Survivor.)
So, uh, @Jbcool, @Noxious? Are you two going to post at some point, please? We be waitin' on y'all's asses, cowpeople.
@The Survivor If you read his sheet, he has a skull implant that helps cloak his aura of horror and psychic murder, like a lesser version of an Animus Speculum. It won't hide his nature entirely- it'll still be obvious what he is to those in the know about Blanks, and that something is off or wrong with him to everyone else- but it at least allows people to not want to kill him on sight and/or slowly die in his presence. That said, if the implant is off, the universe itself hates him, as does everything in his proximity; it's mostly psykers who are likely to actually suffer detrimental effects such as headaches, though that's ultimately the least of their worries in that situation.

@DepressedSoviet Looks pretty good to me.
@Necroes Fair enough. There's still a difference outside of such a fleet, however.

@Wraithblade6 Sounds about right.

Also, it occurred to me shortly after logging off last night that I'd made a huge error in how the cult would refer to themselves and the Tyranids, which I am now able to fix. Keep an eye open for that.
