A troll, eh? A tough fight, certainly, but Nuva felt it'd be no particular match for somebody who had his particular set of... capabilities, he decided was the best word. He'd prefer these capabilities in a less threatening form than he possessed, of course, but since that wasn't a choice, he'd make do for now. So, midday at the northern gate... easily achieved, he supposed. And in the meantime, he'd probably take a look around for what he had in mind.
Speaking of looking around, he glanced back as he heard footsteps moving away from him, seeing the newcomer Lis heading toward Kayden and Allard. No doubt she was as interested in that job as he. Well, five gold was better than nothi- wait, no, they were equals in that matter. Arguably, he could even be called her senior, since he'd been with Kayden for... was it a week longer then her? Give or take a few days. And whilst he didn't like using his bulk to make a point, he would if he had to...
And that was beside the point, he reminded himself. Ten gold would be more than sufficient, but first, he'd actually have to kill the troll. And that would require being in the right place at the right time. Until then, he supposed he'd get on with his personal errand. Promptly, he headed away from the guild grounds, deciding to spend the next few hours searching for the location he was thinking of. And if he was lucky, it'd actually be in this city. If not... well, it'd be no particular change from his life at present.

'...I'm gonna go out on a limb here,' Deprave muttered with a roll of his eyes, nabbing the Power-Pint from Betty as he talked (Grog had given consent for that, right? Yeah, totally, probably, and he didn't need consent anyway), 'and guess that what that is is a spirit, which does some sort of shocking. Like, electrical... ity, and lightning and that shit. Stuff people started using a couple of centuries back or whatever. That's something the riddle pointed out.' As he talked, he turned the mug this way and that, trying to figure out how the damn thing worked, anyway. Grog always used verbal commands, but if he could just will it to fill with, say, xocolatl...
Oh, it really WAS filling with xocolatl! And judging from the smell, as well as a quick sip flooding his mouth with a familiar, yet long-forgotten taste of spice and bitterness, it was the actual stuff he was used to: nicely chilled, a good foam on top, really high quality ingredients, and certainly not that mouth-burning, over-sweetened "hot chocolate" crap that had apparently replaced it since then. Shit, he hadn't had good stuff like this since before he'd died!

@Tangletail Wait, damn. My joke makes less sense in this game than it would in the other game, where I'm actually playing a thief sort of character.
@Tangletail Uh, not honest at all, just not finding any good opportunities to steal anything for various reasons. I should know.

@POOHEAD189 Go figure. I did wonder if it had something to do with that excess of slaves they keep around... I was also mildly under the impression that they'd be extremely strict about half-Dark Elves being "lesser people" or what have you, but I suppose not at this stage.
@POOHEAD189 I was going to suggest that pretty much all Dark Elves would be "pure blooded" by the fact that they're Dark Elves, but then remembered they could interbreed with other types of Elf. And then remembered that Dark Elves are largely hated by other races, for good reason, so... am I missing something here?
@POOHEAD189 Interesting setup. So from what I can gather, Dark Elves are basically half-vampires. Or, pseudo-vampires. Or something like that. Yes, no?
