Current Euh. It's been a hot minute. Things are rather different for me now, and I don't know how that translates to my presence here.

I don't *think* I'm a bad person. I might be wrong there. I try not to be, even when I screw it up for want of social awareness.

Hello, I am me from the internet. I migrated here from Kongregate's Forum Games Forum, so feel free to look for me there if you wish to follow a career in internet stalking people. (ಠ_ಠ) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

A link to some of my past characters, which I need because static tabs do not take up internet.

Infamous Quotes From People Who Exist

“I really don’t follow how your faith believes its perfectly acceptable to doom 4,000 years plus of sentient beings, on a pre-set path of no escape from sin, just so their descendants can be offered the ‘chance of salvation’ when the god murders its own son.”
~vikaTae

“Don’t be an ass or a pussy, ’lest you get screwed by life. Being a mouth or a hand is somewhat safer, and an eye socket is pretty much sacred in this regard, so always keep a look out.”

'Seven thousand fathoms, eh?' Sett repeated, silently calculating that distance in miles and internally balking at the result. 'Easily survivable, naturally, for those gifted with flight... or the power to glide.' And of course, they'd likely have to cross the bridge to get anywhere... for a split-second, it struck him that jumping might just be a quick, easy end to all this; then he shuddered, taking a step back from the edge involuntarily. "L'appel du vide", they called that in Vrettonia, a sudden yet brief urge to do something insanely self-destructive. Not that anybody ever acted on the urge...

'I, ah... suppose, if we have to go alone across the bridge,' Sett began quietly, using the bear-man-hermit's words as a stepping stone, 'then it ought to be the most heavily armed and armoured of us who traverse the bridge first and last. Does it not make sense, after all, that the most well-armed would survive the best if they get ambushed on one side or the other whilst on their own?' That, of course, was all true; however, his motivation was twofold. First, to ensure the bridge would not collapse beneath him after some prior testing; and two, to ensure that he could not be killed as he crossed either first or last. Not that these fellows would do such a thing as cutting the ropes on either end... was he getting paranoid? He felt he might be getting paranoid. Two hours in an effectively pitch black cave were starting to get to him, perhaps.

@Leaves Great. I'll go ahead and add it to Dirk's nakama section, then.
@Leaves So here's an idea: as we know, Dirk thinks of himself as a Rokushiki master, yet doesn't have the physicals to back that up. Maybe he thinks that's because, rather than himself being exceptionally weak (he didn't find anybody in that one fight because his Divine Purpose said so obviously he wasn't hiding away from them), the rest of his crew is disproportionately strong, and therefore he needs to get more training from them in order to get stronger. That in mind, since Feya appears to be the most dedicated to the power of stronk, he might well ask if he could train with her as frequently as possible, rather than waiting to train with everyone else every week or so. Does that sound like a plan?
@POOHEAD189 I promise I've been meaning to respond as soon as possible. I've wound up distracted by various other things, alas and alack. I should be able to post relatively soon, though.
@ProPro And a good match to you too. I have interesting ideas for how Motley and Erina react to that event, rest assured.
@Jbcool That sounds great. Maybe vision overlays too, either on the cameras specifically or his own eyes, but those might wind up being surgery-specific. Thank you; that gives me a lot more to work with.
@Jbcool Thank you for the information. I suppose it's also worth asking whether Darran's mods are worth anything at all as far as letting him figure out an escape pattern? They're obviously meant for surgery, not real-life action, but he would have cameras linked to his senses in at least some of his surgery arms, so I wonder if those might be associated with other mods to improve his accuracy or reaction times or something... probably not, when I put it like that, but I'm not precisely sure what a surgeon like Darran would want for surgical improvements anyway other than precision and knowledge.
@ProPro Sounds pretty grand to me.
I've basically been stumped on how to proceed, personally, though I have some half-formed ideas in my head... amongst other things, I don't think wooden tables will block exploding bullets. Or regular bullets. How much control do we have over the soldiers, by the by, @Jbcool? That'd help figure out what we can do within one post before we die horribly.
How's everybody doing at the moment? Well, I presume?
