Confidence Issues

I feel flash is just too much. I'm not the flashiest person and I feel flash for an RP check is just not needed for me in general because I feel there shouldn't be anything wrong with posting what you like without needing to go to leaps and bounds while also putting down the other threads too along with their effort and hard work.

it's not sunlight flash. it's just a little sparkle to make things a little more appealing. there is a reason why chefs spend so much time on garnishing things or why people spend so much time decking out their tinder profiles. the more appealing you look the more likely you are to attract partners. people like shiny things, and like i said before, the more you make your interest check more visually appealing the more willing people are to stick around and read what you actually want to do.

and like sola said, if you put effort into your interest check instead of just listing stuff out, the better impression that potential partners will have.

Confidence Issues

In my defense I do not think it is poorly organized at all. I had someone look it over and actually help me with it. Aesthetics I feel is over the top and really unnecessary since it is flash at best taking up the interest of everyone else from other threads.

it looks entirely generic and very convoluted. it was just a lot of word barf and i don't think many people want to read word barf.

also nice colors and pictures catch the eye. i know i would be FAR more likely to read into something that has a little effort put into its appearance. first impressions are everything my man.

Life Before the Apocalypse

"I don't know what the fuck happened, but honest to god one day I was just having a beer with my buds then my buds started to... eat each other? It just... happened I guess. As soon as I saw flesh in my bud's mouth I had to get the fuck outta there. But, y'know, as these things usually go, everyone and their mother was either eating or being eaten. I don't know how I managed to get out of there in one piece, but I didn't go back there after all that. I went home, packed my shit, got in my car, and I just kept driving until I couldn't drive anymore. Luckily, I found these dudes at some point and I've been rolling with them since. Safety in numbers, right?"

Strengths & Weaknesses

➕ Dallas has knowledge in a variety of trades, such as being an electrician or plumbing. He is a master of none, but he has enough to get things going and set up for someone much better to come along and refine things.
➕ Dallas is also very handy with a bat. He has a very mean swing and he's not afraid to use it against people if they're trying to eat him.
➖ If Dallas is faced with a choice, he is 10 times out of 10 going to choose himself over anyone else. His life is the only life that matters the most. It doesn't matter if it's a child, a dog, or even the leader of the group. He will choose himself.
➖ Dallas is also stubborn. If he doesn't agree with a decision he is not afraid to make his intentions known.

Personal Goals

In the short term, Dallas wants to bunker down somewhere and start rebuilding there. Maybe build the foundations of a compound that is nigh-impenetrable to people who want to eat him.

In the long term, he wants that compound to happen at some point. It must have running water, electricity, plumbing, and all of the necessities for a modern life. Civilization must be able to be sustained within that compound, invulnerable to the threat that roams outside those walls.

Inventory

• A Swiss Army Knife
• Baseball Bat
• Switchblade
• A couple of screwdrivers and nails and the like that can be utilized to build something or gouge someone's eyes out

Physical Characteristics

The biggest thing right off the bat when you look at Leonard Jenkins is that he's real tall. I'm guessin'... 6'4"? He's real tall but he's pretty skinny for his height too. Despite his former status as a police officer, he isn't the big piece of delicious man-meat everyone wants him to be. But, he's still stupid strong, like a gorilla, except not as mean.

Life Before the Apocalypse

"You know one day I was sitting at my desk. Where I came from, things tended to be slow, so there I was hanging out and watching an episode of Yuri on Ice. Hey, leave me and my gay ice skaters alone. You know, you'd think you'd be getting something else with something called 'Yuri on Ice'... but I'll get into that some other time. It's a classic. But anyway I was hanging out, minding my own business when suddenly we all get a call. One thing lead to another and the next thing you know it was me and Officer Davis, who was about as ancient as the country itself, so of course he didn't last long. Now... I'm just here, I guess. I've been traveling with this group and well... I've been around trying to survive. I miss my anime."

Strengths & Weaknesses

➕ Great shot. Leonard can handle a rifle or a pistol very well. Leonard can also identify various weaponry so long as it isn't a sword. He knows what ammunition it would take as well as some other qualities of it. This is a result of his police training and other experiences.
➕ Leonard can also carry things. He'll put things in his backpack for other people (namely KT) to store.
➖ Leonard has poor navigational skills. He has been confined behind a desk for most of his life, so needless to say that if he gets separated, he may not make it back.
➖ Sometimes words go through his head. I'll let you figure out what that means.

Personal Goals

LEONARD JUST WANTS TO BE IN A PLACE WHERE HE CAN WATCH ANIME AGAIN, DAMN IT.

No but seriously, he wants society to become restored to the point where it's stable enough where he doesn't have to keep looking over his shoulder and fear whether or not a zombie will bite him.

But for the foreseeable future, he just wants some more bullets so he can shoot other people zombies if he has to.
