Bio
Just a small, fragile birdboy with a huge beak. I used to be Manapool, but we don't talk about those days. I have been here a while if you couldn't tell.
In all honesty, I am 25 and in a committed relationship outside of roleplay. I work as a cook who works nights. I'm a big fan of seeing people's food they make and learning about new foods if you ever want to share. I enjoy tabletop games, card games, and video games as well as reading comics in my spare time. Your typical nerd, you might even find me at conventions!
Most of the time I stick to Superhero groups and Play by post D&D here. I have admittedly begun taking far fewer rps. I prefer Fantasy and Superheroes as a genre but I find myself more and more interested in interested in Sci-fi settings too! My main fandoms are Fallout, Kenshi, and Marvel but I have a lot of niche interests like Hylics, Neopets, and Monster High. Do you have a strange fandom you want to rp? I am the kind to at least take a look at the source material!
These days I am closer to a low to mid Casual roleplayer. I want at least a paragraph from replies and don't mind dipping lower than casual if it fits the flow better. I am capable of writing decent long posts but expect me to take eons to reply. I also must warn you that I tend to lose a lot of steam in the winter months.
@HEAVY METAL@Mae [@chryocoma] we have three players! Do you guys still have interest in this? Because I would gladly start an OOC post for us to start working in!
I definitely want your input on this but here is my concept, especially considering your dudes seem pretty tough.
The setting is Modern-day, we could go for futuristic but for all intents and purposes, Modern is what works best. Most countries are aware of the brother's power and are afraid of that getting into the wrong hands. Shortly after they complete a hit in America, the CIA begin plans to covertly eliminate them. A trap is hatched, where my team is waiting for the brothers to return to where ever it may be they are currently staying, preparing an ambush.
If you want to up the ante, a couple of grunts could be with the team but I see this as a hunter becoming the hunted scenario. These tough vampire assassins having hired killers coming after them.
I'd love to know some weaknesses your character may have. Here is an old team I think may be able to at least pose a decent challenge.
Name: Miguel Crowley
Age: 34 Species: Human Powers/abilities: -Tulpa: Miguel has spent years manifesting and empowering a tulpa, essentially a paranormal being who has some manner of sentience and sway over the world, despite existing in the astral plane. In layman's terms, this means to a normal eye the tulpa is simply not there yet it's capable of hurting others and engaging with its environment. The tulpa itself is not a physical creature and thus can not be harmed by physical means, however, mental and magical attacks can be devastating. Additionally, when Miguel dies, so does his tulpa. -Martial arts mastery: beyond his decades of boxing and wrestling training, Miguel has practiced a wide arrange of weaponry, from swords and staves to throwing weapons and bows. This makes him a very adaptive fighter with a tendency to keep up in any battle. -Mental shielding: Miguel's will manifest as a physical shield, greatly reducing damage to his body but not entirely stopping it, and weakening as his resolve does. This shield can be easily overpowered by mental attacks, which disrupt this ability. Weaknesses/Flaws: Being human can be a major weakness. A fatal blow will always be a fatal blow. Beyond this, Miguel is a brash, headstrong fighter and can be easily beaten by a more strategic foe who counters or waits for an opening from Miguel's fierce attacks. -Charms and talismans: Miguel keeps on him a multitude of magical relics to protect him from evil and other spirits. These include, but are not limited to Fulu talisman to ward off creatures, holy water, sacred salt, sage, holy prayer wheels, and more, all things use to keep evil entities at bay. Stronger creatures, such as vampires and archdemons, can overcome these items, but they still aid in slowing them down. Stats: Def: 6/10 Atk: 7/10 Int: 3/10 Agi: 6/10 Abi(Abilities/skills): 7/10
Name: Terry McNeal
Age: 21 Species: Altered Human Powers/Abilities: -Telepathy: Terry's ability to project his thoughts and voice into other people's heads is a dangerous one. It can cause hallucinations and enthrall those who are weak-willed, and it allows him and his team to coordinate seamlessly without giving away their plans. -Telekinesis: Terry is capable of very amazing feats with this. Lifting cars and busses with his mind being the limit of his strength, but his telekinesis can crush others tightly, push or pull people, and grants Terry the ability to fly. -Metathermics: Think pyromancy and cryomancy, this is the ability to cause combustions of flame and explosions and to make ice form at a rapid rate. -Fire-arms specialist: Terry learned to use firearms through the CIA, and is a good shot with both longarms and sidearms of various types. Weaknesses/Flaws: Terry's powers can be a determent when you consider that they put a great strain on his mind. Overusing his abilities causes him to lose control and this can put his allies in just as much jeopardy as his enemies. Furthermore, his psychic powers are weakened by fear or a feeling of being weak. Stats: Def: 2/10 Atk: 8/10 Int: 5/10 Agi: 6/10 Abi: 10/10
Name: Raelie Robinson
Age: 43 Species: Human Powers/abilities: -Summons: Realise has made many allies of the fae and demonic variety of varying levels of strength, they are provided below: *Beelzebub: A demon of filth and vile, Beelzebub is primarily a way to scare people off, using flies, vermin, and rancid smells to keep people away. *Envy: A shapeshifting demon who can become anyone who they kill and wear the head of. They assume their abilities as well, allowing the demon to become dangerous animals as well. *Lamashtu: A dangerous blood-drinking demon who lives on the lifeblood of the living. An absurdly fast, durable, and powerful being who can be devastating in a fight. *King Paimon: A devastatingly powerful spellcaster and semi-omnipotent being who can not be summoned without a human sacrifice. He is a wise king who prefers to stay out of petty squabbles and is easily swayed from a fight with powerful beings when shown respect. -Magic circles: By drawing magic circles Raelie may use them to entrap spirits, demons, and angels. This can be overcome through sheer force, especially by the physical manifestations of these beings. -necrotic touch: Being touched by Raelie can cause people to begin having large rashes and boils form on people's skin where she touched them, and if left unattended they can begin causing people's skin to wither and decay rapidly. Only by blessing the place she came into contact with will it recover. Weaknesses/flaws: Raelie isn't trusting and is easy to separate from the team or cause her to go against orders. She also has to sacrifice many things to summon her allies and thus she doesn't often do so. She is also just a normal human, meaning her body is weak and many stronger beings can overcome her mentally. Stats: Def: 3/10 Atk: 4/10 Int: 8/10 Agi: 7/10 Abi: 8/10
@BenG85@Blade17 I would say maybe if you're using origonal cards it would be best to bring them to the GM or to the group first. That said I always like seeing what people come up with!
