Bio

Just a small, fragile birdboy with a huge beak. I used to be Manapool, but we don't talk about those days. I have been here a while if you couldn't tell.

In all honesty, I am 25 and in a committed relationship outside of roleplay. I work as a cook who works nights. I'm a big fan of seeing people's food they make and learning about new foods if you ever want to share. I enjoy tabletop games, card games, and video games as well as reading comics in my spare time. Your typical nerd, you might even find me at conventions!

Most of the time I stick to Superhero groups and Play by post D&D here. I have admittedly begun taking far fewer rps. I prefer Fantasy and Superheroes as a genre but I find myself more and more interested in interested in Sci-fi settings too! My main fandoms are Fallout, Kenshi, and Marvel but I have a lot of niche interests like Hylics, Neopets, and Monster High. Do you have a strange fandom you want to rp? I am the kind to at least take a look at the source material!

These days I am closer to a low to mid Casual roleplayer. I want at least a paragraph from replies and don't mind dipping lower than casual if it fits the flow better. I am capable of writing decent long posts but expect me to take eons to reply. I also must warn you that I tend to lose a lot of steam in the winter months.

Rala was shocked by the price of their liquor, but then again they had asked for the good stuff. She felt a tinge of pain at the price. She had just gotten this plentiful coin and she was not eager to part with it. Luckily for her, her cleric seemed to be more than happy to pay. He had suggested the idea, and so despite feeling somewhat wrong for it, she kept quiet as he handed his coin away. The amount of booze that was placed by them was truly extravagant. A tavern might sell this much alcohol in a week. It would...should last them a while, though Rala had other plans.

"Well while we wait, what do you say we test the moonshiner's wares?" Rala suggested as she motioned with her head to the barrels.
"I could use a good drink after the battle we went through"
Elena was relieved that the tension seemed to boil down. The pokemon fighting had been stopped and the wrath of Fae Rae had been tempered as she clicked a few pictures on her phone with Olivier. The sheepish trainer did her best to melt away from the group that was gathering, not wanting any of these towering men to turn their ire on her once more. Unfortunately for her, the crowd was dying down and the group where basically the only ones here. Reluctantly she decided to stay put. Olivier seemed nice enough, and both Fae Rae and Cedric seemed like decent trainers. Maybe she could learn a thing or two from them!

Elena didn't get a chance to ask for help or tips, as soon enough the festival had turned to chaos. A toxicroak sprayed acid into the area and Elena yelped in fear at the sizzling droplets that neared them. Olivier took of shortly after, and Elena couldn't help but shout out to him as he ran off.

"w-wait, be careful!" She cried out, seeing the strange man who was approaching them. There would certainly be more trouble afoot. Or rather, that Fae Rae was approaching. Elena crept after them reluctantly, not wanting this new 'friend' of theirs to get hurt or worse.
"L-let's not get too hasty! Maybe he just saw all our Pokemon... yeah! You probably just want a friendly Pokemon battle, sir?" She nervously prattled, making sure she stayed safely behind her more fashionable ally.
aaaaah, I need to pooooost!
@LostDestiny How was your Con? I went to dragon con recently myself!

@Cao the Exiled Good to see you dude, I don't think you've missed much. We're still in the highwaymen camp and you caught us right before we left! Good timing, assuming our lord and savior Rush is taking members still.
@Lurking Krog I would like to pay you back, Rala likely won't. If she drinks a lot she will probably throw some gold his way
Is Jormund paying completely on his own?

Also, Rala has yet to steal! That you know of!
Jeremy had not enjoyed the aftermath of his first encounter with superheroic. Admittedly, the hastily planned attack had fairly well, as the team won handedly thanks to Monolith's strength. Traks had been an absolute play maker, both in the fight and in saving Bolt's life. Overall, the mission had been successful and yet Jeremy left the battle with a bitter taste in his mouth.

The ride home was painfully quiet. With half of the team unconscious or injured, and the image of Peacekeeper's bloodied face still fresh in his mind, Jeremy did not feel like delivering quips or social banter. Monolith seemed to be staring off into space and Jeremy hesitated to even look at him, or risk gaining his ire. Despite all of this, he couldn't help but feel somewhat indignant to the police captain's remarks. They had stopped someone no one else could!

The next few weeks passed in a blur for Jeremy, but his training was much more up his alley. All the excitement and none of the fear. Garfield may have been old, but he moved with more agility than Jeremy and all his years of experience helped him show Jeremy how to hide and spot convenient places to take cover. The marvel of his power, above all else, was his innate ability to squeeze into even the tiniest of cracks. Once he learned to keep himself oriented in tight spaces, Jeremy felt like his power was more than capable of helping this party. More than anything, he had a better feel for his allies and their powers. Particularly with Ghost, who together made the perfect infiltration team.

After a tough day of physical training, Jeremy walked out of the showers, groaning in pain at his physical discomfort. It was tough trying to stay in shape for hero work, and Jeremy had been feeling it every day under the intense regiment they where doing. Spotting Animal man in the training facilities he walked towards him, but stopped as he saw the shocked look on their mentors face.

"Wait... you're WHERE?!? Does Oracle know about this?" The green man's voice boomed.

Jeremy cocked his head to the side, a look of worry covering his face. Perhaps this was another mission for them, he had hoped to get a bit more training in. He still didn't feel like his bat would be enough. Especially if bane or killer croc showed their faces.
"Everything alright, teach?" He said with a nervous chuckle.
"Don't worry, we went behind Oracle's back and it turned out fine. I am sure you're safe too" He said with a snicker.
Rala wasn't surprised the brewer was a dwarf. The highwaymen were a merry bunch, and the ale and grog she had here was strong and tasted as good as grog and ale can. Only a dwarf could keep the party in good supply. She smiled brightly when her stony friend listed off their alcoholic grocery list and nodded in compliance when he decided that was plenty. Then further wisdom came from the stalward companion when he suggested getting a pack mule.

"If they have them around. I certainly don't want to carry a barrel with me" She replied as she fished through one her coin purses.
"how much do we owe you, sir?" She asked the dwarf.
