What 'power level' (for lack of a better term) should we aim for with our characters? Should I be going strong or coming in low?

Currently, our characters are capable of busting buildings pretty easily in terms of power (this is after getting miracles/regalia).

No I said it isn't possible that she could use miracles when she was younger because Anetha is still dormant. You can still list her miracles that she will have. Regalia is possible to get before that if you have backstory concerning how you manage to get one.

So you mentioned that Miracles aren't usable until Anetha is awakened, but when did the Aladia collapse? I assume more than 30 years ago if Miracles during Maryam's childhood are an issue?

Miracles vanish with each succeeding generation after the recreation of the world. By the time it reaches the current age, magic would've been long gone from any kingdom. Miracles persist through Regalia and it doesn't require the blood of ancients to use their latent magic so they're highly sought after.

That could work, but I think he'd ultimately lean more towards a scouting role than a bodyguard meant to protect the Lords. It's an angle to consider at the least.

Exactly what is the story's starting point? Are the characters going to be trying to oust the Black Scorpions and establish themselves as the proper ruling party before the Lords take their positions and what not?

A scout could be a really cool addition. Excited to see what you have in mind.

The Black Scorpions won't come into play until after the new kingdom is established. They won't take us seriously as a threat to them at first. Suleiman will literally just stroll into town, cause a big commotion, show off his fancy Writ of Kings, and recruit the party to go labyrinth delving to find the goddess.

So even with the Lord of Stone being reserved, would it be possible for an adventurer/treasure hunter sort to have a Godbeast infant as a mount of sorts for travelling independently of an city? Initial idea is one of the treasures uncovered in a successful Labyrinth dive.

I imagine if their life span is in the 10,000s of years, having one remain little more than mount sized for the duration of the RP probably won't be an issue.

Thinking of having a lizardfolk sort of character that might be able to sort of communicate with them as well if that jives with the fantasy setting.

Welcome! Yup, that sounds fine with me. I'd imagine your character would have some expertise and be able to assist in caring for the big one pulling the city as well.

Idk if you're planning to make a fighter type but I had the idea of establishing a royal guard independent of the military force. I wonder if that's something you'd have any interest in?

In terms of content: no Regalia or Miracles? She'll be seriously underpowered. I'd suggest adding at least one or two. And also, you still need a character picture.

It'll be interesting how Roheen interacts with Suleiman as Roheen is a cold calculating person of little humanity while Suleiman is flamboyant pirate turned adventurer turned king that you can find in a Sunday-night cartoon rerun.

I might also revamp my miracles a bit as I am unsatisfied with its descriptors.

I think she's sharp enough to realize he's not an idiot but he just doesn't take things very seriously. But also Suleiman is not cocky enough to think he can run things by himself and will respect and defer to her in her areas of expertise. There's just some lines he won't allow himself or any of his allies to cross. He fancies himself a gentleman pirate and thief so he tries to act with some degree of morality. He'll definitely pester Roheen with some expensive requests at times though and expect to get fully shut down lol

EDIT: Oh and make sure you move Roheen's sheet over to the Characters tab.

How in the world did Dog model his sheet like that?

You can quote Dog's or my own sheet and see how the format works. It's a bit of work but the gist is to just delete all of our content and replace them with your own stuff but don't touch any of the code.

Also is your sheet a WIP? It looks mostly complete but your missing certain things. Also a big error to point out: no one can use Miracles until Anetha is awakened so Maryam couldn't have magical abilities in her youth.
