Family History: Her mother was a kind woman, and a scholar who loved learning about myths and history, much like her parents before her. Yet Elissa never got the chance to meet her, for the woman died when she was born. Her father was a member of the Dutch Navy, and her older brother worked as a farmhand. Her father worked hard to provide for the family, and so did her older brother, until one day the two of them disappeared, leaving Elissa alone.

Behind Your Name: She was named after her mother, who had died when she was born. Her mother was named after the ancient Greek woman Dido, Queen of Carthage, who had also been known as Elissa. The name means My God is bountiful, God of Plenty. Her middle name, Flora, comes from Roman mythology, and was the goddess of flowers.

History: Elissa's mother died before she was born, leaving her to grow up with her father and older brother Christian. She lived a happy life, with her father trying to provide for her to the best of his abilities, and her brother generally kept an eye on her, so she was never alone. When she was 5 years old, she was left home by herself one day, and she waited for her father and brother to come home. Yet they never came. It took two days before Elissa finally left her home and entered the streets. No one knew anything about her family, they just disappeared.

She met another young boy, one who took her under his wing and taught her how to survive on the streets of the town. His name was Trevor, and he helped to teach Elissa how to survive. He had some spare clothes that he loaned her, and she made the decision to cut her hair, and disguising herself as a young boy. She and Trevor worked hard, stealing from others and using the money to pay for food, water and shelter. She enjoyed her life, but when she turned 12, her life took another turn.

She and Trevor decided to start working as sailors on a ship that was looking for a crew. They joined up, and that life was good as well. They worked hard, and no one suspected that she was actually a girl. Their Captain was a kind man, and he taught them everything he knew about sailing, and Elissa looked up to him, he became like a father to her. Eventually, she told him the truth about her gender, and he did not mind, but told her to keep it a secret from the crew. As she aged, she and Trevor grew closer, and she eventually fell in love with him. However, when she was 16, the ship was attacked by pirates. They struck the ship, and Elissa was amazed at them. She got a look at their Captain, and noticed that something was familiar about him. It was her older brother, and Elissa tried to stop him, but it resulted in her get shot by him.

When she woke up, she was on the pirate ship. The Captain from her ship was there, and so was Trevor. They explained to her that they were joining the pirate crew in order to survive, and Elissa agreed. Her brother entered the room, and told her that their father had moved to the Caribbean, to work for the Navy there, and had abandoned him on his old naval vessel. He had turned to piracy to survive, and was amazed that she was still alive. For the next few years, she worked on his ship, and they sailed to the Caribbean, in hopes of finding their father.

They did run into him again, and it was because of this that kept her on the side of the pirates. Her father's ship appeared, and struck the pirate ship, and kept striking it. They boarded the vessel, and they went down fighting. Her father fought Christian, and she saw her father kill him. Soon, she saw everyone around her being struck down, and she eventually was brought aboard the naval vessel, for her hair had grown out and it was apparent that she was a woman. They dropped her off at the next dock, but right then and there she swore that she would get vengeance on him for what he had done, and she kept finding work as a sailor, joining up on any pirate ship she could think of. Hoping that she would get the chance to get revenge upon her father.

Thalia nodded to Lilith and Strong, and left them, walking away without another word. She figured that she probably should find Boris. She wasn't too sure what was going to happen during the show, who knew since Boris' wife was dead and his daughter was missing. Thalia knew that she probably also should make sure that she knew what was going to happen during the show, to know what acts they were going to perform. It was probably the same show as usual, but who knew with Boris in control.

She worried a little about him, she knew the man all too well. Having worked with him for a while now, she wondered if the man might have finally been pushed over the edge into insanity. Though she didn't really suspect that he had very far to go into the great realm of mental breakdown. Pulling herself out of her thoughts, she continued on her search for Boris, and hoped that he wasn't planning to do anything stupid.

She knew that she needed to be on the ship and helping pack everything up, but being able to walk around the town and be in civilization made her forget all about it. Daphne enjoyed looking around to see everything around her. She took in the sites, and was careful not to bump into anyone, she never liked the idea of getting into a fight just because she stepped on someone accidentally. She wondered what was going on back on the ship, but she didn't truly think to go back and find out.

After a while though, Daphne stepped off to the side, so that others could get by her. She took in the sites all around her, all the people. She wondered what their stories were, and where they might be headed. So many people, with so many things to do, and so little time to do them with. Daphne enjoyed the bustling crowd, but eventually figured that it was about time to head back to the ship, and was really hoping that no one had noticed that she was gone. Even though the odds of that were really slim.

S.H.I.E.L.D Headquarters, New York City

The existence of mutants was becoming more of a problem, causing riots all over the world. People were asking for them to be locked up, or put in check so that the normal humans could continue onward with their lives. Have people truly forgotten the Altsoba Massacre? Or the murders at that small town in Massachusetts? These events were barely two years in the past, yet people were wishing harm upon the mutants for trying to live their lives?

This was S.H.I.E.L.D's problem, for the pressure was being put on them to find a more permanant solution, otherwise O.M.E.N was going to receive the funding that was being given to S.H.I.E.L.D. They were having more problems, since the riots have caused a mutant organization to rise up, known only as the Brotherhood of Mutants, they wish to destroy all humans so that the mutants could rise. Only causing more problems in DC over this.

Nick Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D, was hoping to fix this. There weren't very many people who could help him, and his own team, the Avengers, were off somewhere else and unavailable. He did know someone though, since some mutants wished to deal with problems from their own kind.

"Someone, get me a line to Xavier's Institute!" he said as he walked over to the phone. He was going to give them a chance to deal with their own kind, and he already knew that their were supposedly two agents who were stationed there. Though he didn't really pay attention about who was there.

Marygold was walking through the hallway, when she heard the phone ring. She was closest to it, so she grabbed it as she walked by. "Hello," she said, and started listening intently to the caller on the otherside. Immediately, she ran to where she knew the Professor was, and handed him the phone, so he could listen to Fury.

When he hung up the phone, he looked over at Marygold, and soon, she heard his voice echoing through her mind, and she instantly knew that there was a mission. "All X-Men and SHIELD personnel, come to my office immediately, there is a mission that is of the utmost importance".

He looked over at Marygold, and the two of them started discussing the mission, so that she could help brief everyone once they arrived. She was surprised by what she heard, and hoped that they could go off before the situation got any worse.
