Well, that was not what she had expected to happen. The only thing she meant was that she'd suggest it to Fitz, since odds were he wasn't going to ask himself. The thing she had been avoiding the entire time was getting Anisa even more pissed off at her, and now it seems that she has failed at doing so. Her head was a little dizzy, either from being thrown onto the ground or from the drinks, though her bet was on the latter. She needed to come up with a way to at least try and calm Anisa down, without getting shot. Her sister probably was not too thrilled about the situation, but there wasn't much she could do about it now.

Looking up at the gun that was pointed at her, Daphne thought about what she could do to fix this. Apologizing was probably the best option, but she felt like that still might end with her being shot. There was nothing that she could think of, that would calm the situation, and she probably was going to get killed. The best that she could do, was apologize and give a compliment or something, to try and make things better.

"Look, Captain, I'm sorry. I respect you and everything, but at the rate the conversation was going, I didn't think Fitz would ask if he could, so I made a suggestion. I probably shouldn't have, and I'm sorry," she said. It was all she could do. Daphne felt horrible for the way this had gone, and there probably was a better way to have phrased what she had said to Fitz, that much was clear. There was no way she'd be able to pull a gun on Anisa fast enough either, and her sister probably would never speak to her again even if she was able to get a shot off. She didn't even want to pull a gun on her. Daphne still respected Anisa as both an individual and her Captain, she wasn't lying about that. Moments like this, well, it made her think about how she's been acting since they merged with the crew of the Retribution, and it made her wish that she could redo it all again.

@Almalthia Morose is correct (and I don't have my own laptop to use, otherwise I would've said something sooner...). You need to ask me first for permission to make changes to your CS. You have 24 hours to revert the CS to how it was when I originally approved it. Then, you can ask for changes. Another player (Roscoe) asked me after Morose alerted him to the problem and fixed the sheet, so that's why he's fine.

History

Biography:

The first thing that Janelle truly remembered was the darkness. Everyone's voices, they were much louder than they probably should have been, but it was the darkness that was truly there. When she was 4 years old, Janelle truly started to understand what it meant to be blind. Even though they had tried to insist that she get a guide dog, she had been stubborn, even at a young age, to try to do things on her own. This resulted in her getting a cane, one she could use to get around by herself, without anyone's help.

Her older brother was always there for her, and she loved him for it. As she grew older though, that became more of a problem. Janelle tried to be as independent as possible, learning to read braille, and taking a course in Tai Kwon Do. She was at a disadvantage in her class, but she got around it by using her ears, as opposed to her eyes. This helped her move up through the ranks quickly, so she knew how to defend herself if she got into trouble without her brother around.

When the fire happened, the one that took her parents life, she had been at school. Janelle and her brother were both called down to the office, and taken to the police station, where they had learned the fates of their parents, and the farm that they had called home. She had been 13 at the time, and she kept close to her brother after that, afraid that she would lose him like they had lost their parents.

She did not like the idea of moving across the world, but it could not be helped. There was no where else for them to go. She was enrolled once more in school, and threw herself into her school work. Having never really gotten a chance to see the world, Janelle read books about geography, and was fascinated by the way the words described everything. Books had always been her solace in learning about anything. She was not too thrilled to get sick, though it ended up being with her brother in that regard too. There was definitely something weird going on, but she didn't know what.

Discovery Of Your Power:

Her powers, well, it was interesting to say the least when she discovered them. She was by herself when it happened, at their home. She was in the kitchen, getting something to drink, but accidentally put hot water in the glass, as opposed to cold. Janelle felt her hand get real cold all of a sudden, but she couldn't tell what had happened, until she dipped her fingers in the glass. It was frozen solid. Jace had walked in, and he saw the glass in her hand, and started asking what had happened. She told him without hesitation, and after that, she started experimenting, trying to get better at it, so that she could control it somewhat, so she didn't accidentally hurt someone.

Ability & Powers: Cyrokinesis: She will be able to create, shape and manipulate ice from the air around her

History

Biography:

Jace was born and raised in Galway Ireland, for the most part anyway. His parents had a farm there, and he liked working in the fields, it helped him if he wanted to join any sports. When he was 3, his little sister Janelle was born, and when he first saw her, he swore to his parents that he would always be there for her, no matter what. It wasn't until a year later that the doctor's discovered something, that Janelle was blind. After that, he became even more protective, keeping close to her, and being wary of anyone else.

He always was coming in and out of the house with friends, and they knew to be nice to his sister. Jace at one point had a friend name Sean, but he didn't stick around for very long. He had made the mistake of teasing Janelle for being blind, and an argument ensued, which resulted in the end of their friendship. He played football (or soccer in the states) and was an amazing athlete in school, and worked hard. He picked up fencing, learning how to use swords of all types. It was by far his favorite past time, but he would never give up his football career. His life was great, until he was 16 years old. This was when everything changed.

He and his sister Janelle were at school when the fired happened. His parents had been home, and no one really knew what had happened, but the barn and their house were on fire. The entire thing burned to the ground, and his parents bodies were pulled from the remains. Jace and his sister were put into the care of some of their neighbors, while the authorities tried to get a hold of relatives. The only one who would take them was their uncle who lived in Seattle Washington. They ended up packing up their bags, and moved in with him on the other side of the world.

Jace continued schooling, until he graduated and started going for a degree in Computer Science. He managed to get an internship at Microsoft, and works there when not in school. He had to take a break for several weeks when he got sick. His uncle thought it was just because his body wasn't used to the Seattle area, so he didn't really think much of it. Though deep down, Jace knew that probably wasn't true. That something was seriously wrong.

Discovery Of Your Power:

At first, Jace thought he could create and manipulate ice, like his sister. She had told him about her abilities, and after a little while, he accidentally created ice, and it shattered on the ground in front of him. This made him believe that somehow they ended up with the same ability, but that changed, when he was walking around Seattle one day. He passed by a man wearing long pants, a leather jacket, and boots. He didn't pay much attention to him, but Jace wasn't exactly doing very much, but he was trying to stay calm. School was stressful, and he was freaking out. He took a shortcut down an alleyway, and his mind kept racing, and soon, a trashcan went flying in front of him. He stopped, and stared at it for a moment, before lifting his hand, to see if he had caused it, only to find the can moved with his hand. That, was when he truly learned what his power was, and that he was different from Janelle after all.
