RIP Stan Lee... You will forever be missed. As someone whose grown up reading Marvel comics, you've always have kind of been a part of my life. Thank you for making most of the Marvel heroes we know.

WIP I'm coming back after forever so clearing all of this seems like a good choice.
Just few basic things.
1. Left for my own sort of health reasons. 2. I ran a game for almost a decade when I stepped away from everything. 3. Currently working on getting an interest check up for the game I am going to hopefully be able to run.
"Yeah, well whatever... They still listen to you more often... I mean seriously what person let's their kid build a blaster that could kill someone?" he said, muttering the last part as a reference to what had happened the day he had met her. Lance wasn't too thrilled at the idea of joining her to go find the adults. He waited a moment, before he let out a sigh, getting up off of the couch to walk with her. He really wanted to be left alone or something, but he doubted that Guin would let him.
Tony just laughed a little bit, rolling his eyes at the pair. They definitely knew how to tease a person or something, but he just shook his head, still smiling at them. "Hey, I don't have that big of an ego... Okay, maybe I do, but still, it isn't big enough to be a superpower!"
"Because you're you. I mean seriously I swear everyone will do whatever you say. Most people around here generally ignore my existence or something... Everyone listens to you..." Lance said softly, looking away from her for a moment. It bugged him to know that it was true, but he had to admit it. His own father didn't even really try to talk to him a lot, which wasn't helping their relationship all that much, but he accepted the fact that no one listened to him. "Anyway, go talk to them alright?"
"Wow, you two are so mean to me, sometimes I wonder why I even bother hanging around you two! A whole week? That is just plain wimpy, should at least have made it two" Tony said with a laugh. He knew they were just teasing him, and he decided to go along with it. It wasn't like he could easily tease them back, especially since he knew he gave them a lot of material to tease him with.
"Well, I've got good news, and I've got bad news. Good news, we are almost there! Bad news is that if those Sentinels don't leave us be we might have to deal with more problems. Like bystanders..." Mary said as she and Mira kept the Blackbird going to its destination. They couldn't maneuver the Blackbird like before, since one of the wings was literally being held up in order to function and not crash, so they weren't really having much of a chance to maneuver.
Outside of the Blackbird, several of the Sentinels had noticed them by now, and were firing off shots at them. Once more, Thalia protected Nina from the blasts. The force of the shots nearly knocked Thalia out of the sky, but she managed to stay up in the air. Nina would be able to notice that Thalia's silver hair was starting to turn red, as her head started bleeding. Her back was covered in burns and blood covered it as well, but it didn't look like Thalia was going to stop flying. "I'm fine Nina, don't worry about it," she said, as she kept them in the air.
"...You do realize that is bad for us right? Jakobsen, if he gets elected, OMEN comes into power, and then we have to deal with the whole MRA and them trying to kill us even more often! Look, there are going to be a lot more problems if he is elected," Lance pointed out to Dean, wondering how the hell this kid had gotten this far in life. The guy didn't even seem to know what he was talking about half of the time. His back was still hurting, and he felt a little dizzy due to blood loss, but he was staying conscious.
Future Pietro gave Folly a smile, knowing that all of this probably wasn't easy on her, but hopefully they were able to stop their future from ever happening. It made him think about those he had left behind, the family he had basically abandoned. He pushed the thoughts out of his mind, knowing that he needed to be there to help fix history so his family had a better life.
Cassandra and Guin's next shots got really lucky. The first few that Cass had fired off easily knocked two Sentinels out of the sky by themselves. Her next shots only damaged them, but Guin's shots knocked them out of the air. They were causing a lot of damage to the Sentinels thankfully, but something odd seemed to be happening. The Sentinels that were still flying seemed to be heading downward, disappearing from sight. "What the hell is going on?" Mary muttered.
"We've hit the city limits, seems like they don't want to risk hurting civilians..." Mira said softly, looking at the displays. They lucked out with that, since if they didn't, there could be a lot of destruction for when the debris hit the ground. She hoped that they didn't know where exactly they were going, otherwise there would be more problems waiting for them when they reached Stark Tower.
Thalia let out a bit of a sigh of relief when the Sentinels seemed to give up the chase. One more hit, and she probably would have started plummeting out of the sky straight to the ground. She coughed slightly, a little bit of blood coming out of her mouth now as she supported Nina. After a few moments, something came shooting up next to them. "Looks like you all could use a hand, fancy seeing you here van Essenhout," Tony Stark said as he helped to support the Blackbird's weight.
"Well Guin, looks like your dad has shown up to lend us a hand, we should be to Stark Tower in a few moments," she said, glad that he had shown up to help them.

Lydia didn't know really what to do in this sort of situation. Everything was really weird to her, this whole demons and shape shifter thing or whatever you wanted to call them. Trying to piece together everything was kind of making her head spin a little, but she remained calm. To think that the guy she had been with yesterday might have been killed by a demon, it was still strange to her, but she'd try to help Jenna out if she could.
"I'll come too Jenna," she said in response to what Jenna was going to do. They needed to see what else was in that letter, even if it was nonsense, it might still be helpful. She turned to look at the kid, "You want to come with Robert?" she asked him with a smile. She didn't know if he wanted to come, but she might as well ask him, as she headed for the door.
He did not expect that fight to end so quickly. Alex had expected at least one person to die before Hel's death, but no, she died really easily. Where was this group of people when he needed them back at OMEN? They had literally just completely blasted the Goddess of Death until she died, and he didn't think that was at all possible. Who knew it was that easy to kill a Goddess? He certainly hadn't thought that, though Jade probably knew because of what happened in Altsoba.
"Well...That went better than I expected," he said, putting his gun away, and looking at the others. He watched Lilith leave, but didn't think anything of it. He was more interested in what they did now. He planned for the most part to stick with Jade and Ricky, since he didn't really know what else he could do, at least until OMEN got back up off the ground and running. "I don't really know what we should do about you three, I'll let Jade decide, since she probably has a better idea then me."
Thalia Maehers
Location: Cromwell House, Boston
Thalia was still stunned at what had just happened. She had not expected any of that to happen, but she couldn't really do much about it now. Her fire was strong enough to finish off the Goddess of Death! That was not something she had known about, especially considering that she still only recently found out about the whole dragon thing, mutate, or whatever it was called. She was just hoping that OMEN didn't try and lock her up or something, since Folly had warned her about them if they saw her wings, and they just saw her breathe fire.
She was saddened when she just saw Lilith up and leave, without really saying much of anything to her. It was understandable, they had just fought the Goddess of Death herself, and now they didn't really have anything to go back to. Thalia's main concern right then was to make sure that Folly was alright, even though she knew that there was no way that she'd be able to keep an eye on her. She had to do a bit of searching, learn as much as she could about what she was, and what it meant about her life. Going over to Folly, Thalia gave her a smile. "You alright there Folly?" she asked her softly, even though she knew that she couldn't stay with the girl, she just wanted to make sure she was alright.
"Oh no, you ideas and plans, you get to go talk to them. You know I don't exactly like talking to them or suggesting things, since for me it usually doesn't end well. Besides, you suggest it, your dad will most likely say yes, I suggest it and people might say no. So we are better off if you talk to them, and I just sit here and keep quiet or something," he said to her with a small laugh. The sad thing was, for the most part it was true, he felt like not many people tended to listen to his suggestions or something strange like that.
"Ok, did you two have some sort of conversation and this is Pick on Tony Day and I missed the memo? I swear, you two are not the best to be around," he said with a sort of huffy breath, but he had a smile on his face. "Alright, I'll see about coming up with a plan for a date or something Pepper, I promise."

"Well sorry, but I was kind of concerned with the whole, we basically teleported somewhere else for a few minutes," he snapped at Scott. The guy was really getting on his last nerves, and he really wanted to smack the guy around or something, but no, he knew that he would probably lose in a fight against him, he did look stronger than he was. He knew when to pick his fights, and now was not exactly the time for that.
Janelle thought she might have to restrain her brother or something because of Scott's comment, but she was grateful that she didn't have to. She didn't want them to be fighting constantly, but she'd intervene if need be, but she hopefully didn't find the need to. Her brother was a handful to be around by himself, and now he had found someone who he was constantly fighting. "Just call her Jace, and please can you not argue with people."
He let out a sigh, "Fine," he muttered, looking away from his sister and pulling out his cell phone to call Cynthia. Jace was hoping that she'd answer straight away, that he wouldn't have to deal with other people or whatever. When making phone calls more of to a building or office or whatever was always a bit of a hassle, but if he remembered correctly this was her actual cell phone number.
She waited for her brother to make the call, and kind of looking forward to meeting Cynthia in person, well, more of in person than being some freaky ghost or something in her office or whatever. Janelle still wasn't even too sure what had happened there, and it would help if they could figure that out sooner rather than later. She had so many questions, but so few answers, and she hoped that in this small group of people, they'd be able to find the answers. "Hello, Cynthia?" Jace said into the phone after he had dialed the number.
Jessica watched as everyone started to spring into action, she was hoping that Mallory would be able to get out of the room alive. Then Hel flung her sword Nótt sverð at Mallory and the kumkatok was impaled onto the wall, silently cursing to herself, as she closed her eyes and attempted to try and pull the sword out of Hel's hand. She was starting to feel dizzy from the blood loss as she continued to try and concentrate on the sword but she wasn't even able to. She watched Folly letting go of Mariana and went to attack Hel, only to be easily flung across the room, along with Jade and Ricky using a taser on her. She stared directly at Mallory she couldn't see the expression on her face due to the cloak and wasn't sure what she was trying to communicate with her.
Mariana sighed softly when Folly let go of her, only to have her be weaponless now she watched Folly getting flung across the room after her attack. She quickly went to Robin and Aloise' side and leaned over and whispered towards them, she didn't like the idea of seeing any of these people die. "We need to figure out a way quietly to betray her once she has the cloak, I managed to get that woman on our side."
Lilith's plan on getting Mallory out of there while the others distracted Hel was foiled fairly easily as she watched the sword impale the woman/spirit/thing. Now it was a matter of protecting the cloak at all costs. Lilith turned to face the Goddess of Death now. She didn't have much at her disposal, but then Hel did the stupid thing of flinging Folly across the room. While the girl seemed unscathed, it unleashed something in Lilith. Fighting spirit! "Ok bitch, I've had it with your bullshit." Lilith took out three knives in one hand and threw them at Hel. Two missed, verring off but hitting no one else, but the one knife did hit it's mark. And what a mark it was. Directly in the Goddess' eye on her good side. Lilith would have cheered, but it was not time yet. "Oh, shame, guess both sides are fucked up now."
"You know... If Ricky can shoot at her and not care much about trying it, then screw it I am too, I owe her for what happened at OMEN anyway," he said, pulling his gun out again. He fired off five shots in rapid succession, not caring if he accidentally hit anyone else in the process. He was pissed off at her for everything she had done. Two of his shots missed, and didn't hit anyone, but he didn't care about that. It was the other three shots that he cared about as each one hit her. The first one knocked out Hel's other eye, completely blinding her, while the other two hit internal organs of some kind, causing her to start bleeding a lot. "Screw you bitch."
"Try breathing fire at her, that might work!" Deadpool said in her ear, and Thalia agreed with him. Sure, she probably shouldn't be doing this sort of thing, especially with OMEN around, but she needed to do something, and fire breathing seemed like a good choice. It took her a few tries to get it just right, but when she did, there was a roaring jet of flame that shot from her mouth, burning the Goddess of Death. She hadn't expected the flame to be that powerful, but it happened, and she had somehow killed the Goddess of Death. "...Did she just die?" she said, her voice sounding a bit hoarse.
Lilith and those sensitive to the spiritual, like Jessica and Mallory, will be able to see a huge amount of energy be unleashed. Hel's dying words are "Go to hell, angels." Jessica will then hear a scream across Angel Radio. Then there's just silence. Hel's sword clatters to the ground. She took down all of the angels with her.
Location: Somewhere in Canada Time Frame: October 18, 1983 RP Tags: Casual, Large Group, Fantasy, Fandom, Slice of Life Type: An action role-play that is character driven and takes place in the universe of the role-play Abandoned Hope. This RP is a prequel to X-Men: Darkness Rising Goal: To put an end to the Weapon X program, and avoid getting caught and put into the program. Age: Characters have to at least be 18 years old.
Premise
Mutation: it is the key to our evolution. It has enabled us to evolve from a single-celled organism into the dominant species on the planet. This process is slow, and normally taking thousands and thousands of years. But every few hundred millennia, evolution leaps forward.
These are the words that Charles Xavier has said numerous times over the years, but there was a point in time, where most humans did not know of the existence of mutants, and they were able to coexist peacefully. Those days, are far behind us, for there were some members of the United States government who know of them, and wish to use these individuals with extraordinary abilities as weapons of war. They set up a program, specifically for this job, and put money towards it, funding it so they could try and find them, and see what they could learn.
These plans were discovered by two mutants, friends who wished to prevent mutants from being used like this. Their names? Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr. They found out about program, but only knew that it was somewhere in the Canadian wilderness, and not easy to find. With the help of a friend, they were able to create Cerebro, in order to amplify Charles' powers, to the point where he could find mutants before those who work with the program do.
They track down these individuals, and hope to turn this group of strangers into a team that can work together to shut the program down. If they fail, they risk exposing mutants to the world, and in a very harsh light, and success could mean the same thing if they aren't careful. There is more at stake, as the Weapon X program is looking for "volunteers" for its next project constantly. If the team isn't careful, they might end up as participants in the program themselves.
Weapon X
Weapon X was a code name for a secret U.S. Government project intended to deliberately induce superpowers for military purposes. It was the tenth installment of the Weapon Plus Program. In the case of Weapon X, the mechanism was genetic engineering, specifically, creating mutations in normal humans and enhancing existing mutations. The successive projects had Roman numerals, so Weapon X was the tenth such project. Some confusion has arisen because this same name has applied to several different projects as well as several of the project's "graduates."
The original Weapon X Program started in the United States during the 1960s by Professor Thorton under Romulus' influence. Sponsored by American Central Intelligence Agency, Weapon X recruited skilled intelligence operatives to form a squad named Team X, composed of Romulus' agents Logan, (codenamed Subject X) Victor Creed and Silver Fox, and C.I.A. operatives David North (codenamed Maverick), John Wraith (codenamed Kestrel) and Mastodon. During these years, Team X members received memory implants via several methods, including low-quality stage scenarios, machines provided by Romulus, and psychic manipulations by one of the Weapon X's allies, Aldo Ferro. In 1963 Silver Fox fled Weapon X for her own reasons during a mission in Cuba, allying with enemy soldiers.
In 1968 Romulus had Weapon X operatives in Dallas, Texas, experimenting on Logan with Carbonadium pills; Team X later had a mission in Berlin, where they obtained the Carbonadium Synthesizer and C.I.A. double agent Janice Hollenbeck; they were opposed by Omega Red, but they successfully escaped while Wraith distracted him. Team X later disbanded after that mission, with Logan and Creed returning working for Romulus while Maverick, Mastodon and Wraith remained under C.I.A.'s authority. The Weapon X Program then continued operating under the cover of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
In the 1970s former Team X member Logan briefly joined Canadian's Department K as an intelligence member, also working with C.I.A. agents Richard and Mary Parker.[12] During this time, Department K found a way to replicate Logan's healing factor and implement it into other subjects; one of such subjects was Wade Wilson, a man who suffered from cancer who had enlisted in Department K searching for a cure. Weapon X implemented healing factor in Wilson's body, temporarily regressing his cancer. Department K then formed an early installment of Weapon P.R.I.M.E. squad composed by Wilson, Sluggo, Kane and Slayback; they were later joined by Wade's girlfriend Vanessa Carlysle, codenamed Copycat. Under unknown circumstances, Wilson killed Slayback during a mission; his health then got worse and worse, so he was taken to the Hospice, a Weapon X Facility directed by Dr. Emrys Killebrew and his assistant Francis Fanny, codenamed Ajax. There, Killebrew and Ajax made terrible experiments on Wilson, who was also tortured by Ajax. Adopted the name Deadpool, Wade led a massive breakout from the Hospice, and the Canadian branch of Weapon X was shut down afterwards.
Meanwhile, criminal mastermind Romulus eventually decided to revamp a new iteration of Weapon X, again formed by Truett Hudson, a.k.a. Professor Thorton, F.B.I. scientist Dr. Abraham Cornelius and former N.A.S.A. operative Carol Hines. This installment, codenamed Experiment X, operated in a Department K Facility located near Roanoke in Alberta, Canada.
Our World
In the Abandoned Hope Universe, we have known that we were not alone in the world since 2012, due to the Incident. Aliens are real, powered individuals are possible, and anything else? It is the stuff of fiction, of Harry Potter novels and horror flicks. But of course, that is the public perception, largely due to the efforts of MI13, O.M.E.N., and S.H.I.E.L.D. The world just isn't ready to know about what else is real, causing the Altsoba Massacre to be deemed an event driven by religious paranoia and hallucinogenics. Nothing abnormal at all. Had the Incident been less public, it would have been covered up and hidden as well.
According to O.M.E.N. (the Organization for the Methodical Eradication of Necromantics), a being with supernatural and inhuman capabilities is called a necromantic. This can range from enhanced humans, such as Steve Rogers, all the way to the most darkest and complex of creatures, such as Azrael, the Angel of Death. And while this term is used in most government documents, there are other terms that are more specific and demonstrate improved understanding of the situation. The universe is a strange one, one that we can hardly understand.
Previously, any and all powers and abilities were simply referred to as deviances. If someone was perhaps a little odd, in that they could see things that others could not, perhaps that they could heal with a single touch, or that they were immune to flames, they were said to have a deviance. Years after the Altsoba Massacre, this definition was revoked and revised, as we realized that it is simply more complicated than that.
Deviances, as they are now understood, refer to (often) extraordinary abilities that distinguish someone from the average human. However, these are not differences on a biological or genetic level. While these can be small things, such as a sixth sense when it comes to healing and knowing what is wrong with the patient, it can be as dramatic as pyrokinesis. Deviances are a result of the shattering of the Cursed Flask in 1719, the shards which were recovered in 2018 by MI13. The flask's contents were said to grant immeasurable power, and with the contents mixing into the air in trace amounts, individuals can sometimes acquire slight abilities from exposure. There is currently no method of explaining why some people gain a deviance and others do not, however. This area of research is still relatively new.
Mutants, also called homo superior, are powered individuals who gain their abilities due to an X-gene. This gene is something that is simply part of their genetic makeup from birth. It can be activated when the individual is subjected to great stress, often during puberty or traumatic moments. It's important to understand that while a mutant's powers can be called a mutation, they were born mutants. They did not mutate throughout the course of their lifetime.
Mutates are those who, as the name implied, mutated to gain powers. This is often due to the presence of electromagnetic radiation outside of the visible spectrum. Encounters with radioactive waste would certainly qualify. It is possible for those with an X-gene to mutate when exposed to radiation or other materials, but it is uncommon and also effectively 'neutralizes' the X-gene.
Inhumans, also called inhomo supremis, are individuals who are descended by unfortunate souls who were experimented on and had their genetic code modified. This unorthodoxy in genetics can be activated through a process called terringenesis, in which the inhuman emerges from something akin to a cocoon with newfound abilities and powers.

Location: Somewhere in Canada Time Frame: October 18, 1983 RP Tags: Casual, Large Group, Fantasy, Fandom, Slice of Life Type: An action role-play that is character driven and takes place in the universe of the role-play Abandoned Hope. This RP is a prequel to X-Men: Darkness Rising Goal: To put an end to the Weapon X program, and avoid getting caught and put into the program. Age: Characters have to at least be 18 years old.
Premise
Mutation: it is the key to our evolution. It has enabled us to evolve from a single-celled organism into the dominant species on the planet. This process is slow, and normally taking thousands and thousands of years. But every few hundred millennia, evolution leaps forward.
These are the words that Charles Xavier has said numerous times over the years, but there was a point in time, where most humans did not know of the existence of mutants, and they were able to coexist peacefully. Those days, are far behind us, for there were some members of the United States government who know of them, and wish to use these individuals with extraordinary abilities as weapons of war. They set up a program, specifically for this job, and put money towards it, funding it so they could try and find them, and see what they could learn.
These plans were discovered by two mutants, friends who wished to prevent mutants from being used like this. Their names? Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr. They found out about program, but only knew that it was somewhere in the Canadian wilderness, and not easy to find. With the help of a friend, they were able to create Cerebro, in order to amplify Charles' powers, to the point where he could find mutants before those who work with the program do.
They track down these individuals, and hope to turn this group of strangers into a team that can work together to shut the program down. If they fail, they risk exposing mutants to the world, and in a very harsh light, and success could mean the same thing if they aren't careful. There is more at stake, as the Weapon X program is looking for "volunteers" for its next project constantly. If the team isn't careful, they might end up as participants in the program themselves.
Weapon X
Weapon X was a code name for a secret U.S. Government project intended to deliberately induce superpowers for military purposes. It was the tenth installment of the Weapon Plus Program. In the case of Weapon X, the mechanism was genetic engineering, specifically, creating mutations in normal humans and enhancing existing mutations. The successive projects had Roman numerals, so Weapon X was the tenth such project. Some confusion has arisen because this same name has applied to several different projects as well as several of the project's "graduates."
The original Weapon X Program started in the United States during the 1960s by Professor Thorton under Romulus' influence. Sponsored by American Central Intelligence Agency, Weapon X recruited skilled intelligence operatives to form a squad named Team X, composed of Romulus' agents Logan, (codenamed Subject X) Victor Creed and Silver Fox, and C.I.A. operatives David North (codenamed Maverick), John Wraith (codenamed Kestrel) and Mastodon. During these years, Team X members received memory implants via several methods, including low-quality stage scenarios, machines provided by Romulus, and psychic manipulations by one of the Weapon X's allies, Aldo Ferro. In 1963 Silver Fox fled Weapon X for her own reasons during a mission in Cuba, allying with enemy soldiers.
In 1968 Romulus had Weapon X operatives in Dallas, Texas, experimenting on Logan with Carbonadium pills; Team X later had a mission in Berlin, where they obtained the Carbonadium Synthesizer and C.I.A. double agent Janice Hollenbeck; they were opposed by Omega Red, but they successfully escaped while Wraith distracted him. Team X later disbanded after that mission, with Logan and Creed returning working for Romulus while Maverick, Mastodon and Wraith remained under C.I.A.'s authority. The Weapon X Program then continued operating under the cover of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
In the 1970s former Team X member Logan briefly joined Canadian's Department K as an intelligence member, also working with C.I.A. agents Richard and Mary Parker.[12] During this time, Department K found a way to replicate Logan's healing factor and implement it into other subjects; one of such subjects was Wade Wilson, a man who suffered from cancer who had enlisted in Department K searching for a cure. Weapon X implemented healing factor in Wilson's body, temporarily regressing his cancer. Department K then formed an early installment of Weapon P.R.I.M.E. squad composed by Wilson, Sluggo, Kane and Slayback; they were later joined by Wade's girlfriend Vanessa Carlysle, codenamed Copycat. Under unknown circumstances, Wilson killed Slayback during a mission; his health then got worse and worse, so he was taken to the Hospice, a Weapon X Facility directed by Dr. Emrys Killebrew and his assistant Francis Fanny, codenamed Ajax. There, Killebrew and Ajax made terrible experiments on Wilson, who was also tortured by Ajax. Adopted the name Deadpool, Wade led a massive breakout from the Hospice, and the Canadian branch of Weapon X was shut down afterwards.
Meanwhile, criminal mastermind Romulus eventually decided to revamp a new iteration of Weapon X, again formed by Truett Hudson, a.k.a. Professor Thorton, F.B.I. scientist Dr. Abraham Cornelius and former N.A.S.A. operative Carol Hines. This installment, codenamed Experiment X, operated in a Department K Facility located near Roanoke in Alberta, Canada.
Our World
In the Abandoned Hope Universe, we have known that we were not alone in the world since 2012, due to the Incident. Aliens are real, powered individuals are possible, and anything else? It is the stuff of fiction, of Harry Potter novels and horror flicks. But of course, that is the public perception, largely due to the efforts of MI13, O.M.E.N., and S.H.I.E.L.D. The world just isn't ready to know about what else is real, causing the Altsoba Massacre to be deemed an event driven by religious paranoia and hallucinogenics. Nothing abnormal at all. Had the Incident been less public, it would have been covered up and hidden as well.
According to O.M.E.N. (the Organization for the Methodical Eradication of Necromantics), a being with supernatural and inhuman capabilities is called a necromantic. This can range from enhanced humans, such as Steve Rogers, all the way to the most darkest and complex of creatures, such as Azrael, the Angel of Death. And while this term is used in most government documents, there are other terms that are more specific and demonstrate improved understanding of the situation. The universe is a strange one, one that we can hardly understand.
Previously, any and all powers and abilities were simply referred to as deviances. If someone was perhaps a little odd, in that they could see things that others could not, perhaps that they could heal with a single touch, or that they were immune to flames, they were said to have a deviance. Years after the Altsoba Massacre, this definition was revoked and revised, as we realized that it is simply more complicated than that.
Deviances, as they are now understood, refer to (often) extraordinary abilities that distinguish someone from the average human. However, these are not differences on a biological or genetic level. While these can be small things, such as a sixth sense when it comes to healing and knowing what is wrong with the patient, it can be as dramatic as pyrokinesis. Deviances are a result of the shattering of the Cursed Flask in 1719, the shards which were recovered in 2018 by MI13. The flask's contents were said to grant immeasurable power, and with the contents mixing into the air in trace amounts, individuals can sometimes acquire slight abilities from exposure. There is currently no method of explaining why some people gain a deviance and others do not, however. This area of research is still relatively new.
Mutants, also called homo superior, are powered individuals who gain their abilities due to an X-gene. This gene is something that is simply part of their genetic makeup from birth. It can be activated when the individual is subjected to great stress, often during puberty or traumatic moments. It's important to understand that while a mutant's powers can be called a mutation, they were born mutants. They did not mutate throughout the course of their lifetime.
Mutates are those who, as the name implied, mutated to gain powers. This is often due to the presence of electromagnetic radiation outside of the visible spectrum. Encounters with radioactive waste would certainly qualify. It is possible for those with an X-gene to mutate when exposed to radiation or other materials, but it is uncommon and also effectively 'neutralizes' the X-gene.
Inhumans, also called inhomo supremis, are individuals who are descended by unfortunate souls who were experimented on and had their genetic code modified. This unorthodoxy in genetics can be activated through a process called terringenesis, in which the inhuman emerges from something akin to a cocoon with newfound abilities and powers.

Must IC post once every 7 days (It is your job to keep up with when you need to post. Your last post hits Day 8 and I remove you from the RP.)

No word in IC or OOC after 7 days is grounds for removal from the RP.
If you need additional time to post you must notify the Gm by day 5 of your counter. Extensions will not be granted after that.

There is no additional time granted due to forum glitches unless the forum is fully down. A week to post is plenty of time even if the forum glitches a day or two
Collabs may not be started after your day 5 counter
If you are collabing and your partner vanishes or does not reply, you must finish the collab and post it before the timer runs out
If your collab partner vanishes you are granted temporary minimal bunnying privileges to complete the collab
If your collab partner vanishes, you need to make the Gm aware so it does not count against you
Know your personal posting limitations before applying to join

WIP I'm coming back after forever so clearing all of this seems like a good choice.
Just few basic things.
1. Left for my own sort of health reasons.
2. I ran a game for almost a decade when I stepped away from everything.
3. Currently working on getting an interest check up for the game I am going to hopefully be able to run.
All set, that's all for now.
