Current Almost exactly one year since I step away from being here, and a lot can change in that amount of time. Here's hoping I can find a game or two and see how things go from here.

RIP Stan Lee... You will forever be missed. As someone whose grown up reading Marvel comics, you've always have kind of been a part of my life. Thank you for making most of the Marvel heroes we know.

Bio

WIP I'm coming back after forever so clearing all of this seems like a good choice.

Just few basic things.

1. Left for my own sort of health reasons.
2. I ran a game for almost a decade when I stepped away from everything.
3. Currently working on getting an interest check up for the game I am going to hopefully be able to run.

All set, that's all for now.

Sapphire wasn't too sure what to think regarding everything, but now wasn't the time for her mind to stray from the task at hand, no now she needed to try and use her powers to do something. At this rate, things were starting to go from bad to worse, and her eyes shifted to the apparent devil that had decided to appear from out of nowhere or something like that. That thing was dangerous, and since it popped up after Veil had given her orders, well she figured that maybe she should try and deal with that. Since that thing wasn't exactly a normal thing at all. "It's about to get a little cold," she muttered as her hair went the frosty white color now.

Creating a spear of ice, she instantly threw it directly towards the devil. For a brief moment, Sapphire had a slight flashback to that alternate reality when she had used the spear to kill Polaris by accident, but she shook her head to get the memory out of her mind as she threw it. The spear went straight through the Devil's mouth and right out the other side, but the thing unfortunately was still standing, and she sent another one after him, but this time the creature caught it. She wasn't able to really land another attack as the creature charged at her and broke through Veil's force field, stabbing her with it's horns. Yeah, this was definitely not working out all too well for her.

"Why won't you listen to me about me telling you that I'm fine!" Zari somewhat complained, directing the complaint towards Echo. "I've had way worse, that guy hits like a 5 year old little kid!" She was being entirely serious with regards to that, she'd met a few kids growing up that hit harder then that guy did, and that was saying something since the guy's knife definitely had burned when he cut her with it. That was also another thing she was annoyed with the guy about that, aside from him having broken Mr. Eyeball, that pissed her off even more.

Jack let out a sigh when he saw Waverly more or less dragging Casper along the ground after trying to carry him, that clearly was not a good thing to do to someone with a gunshot injury. That was just common sense. If James hadn't gone over to help Waverly more or less carry Casper along, he would have. He has had to carry his brother before, so he knew he could do it if he needed to, but he was glad that James seemed to have the same idea as he did and went to help him out some more, including healing him completely now.

She raced back to the car and threw open the door as she climbed in to where her robot friends were. "Mr. Eyeball you won't believe what just happened! Remember the guy with the weird hood or mask or whatever who attacked us not long after we got into the city who then used his knife to break you in half? He showed up and started firing off a gun and shot the weird guy and then he stabbed me! He was really rude and not so kind, and sounds like we might run into him again!" she sort of rambled a bit to the robot as it started floating around again, and sort of beeped sadly as if it knew there was no point in trying to stop Zari from rambling.

He wasn't too sure what to think with regards to Echo immediately calling Xavier. He also wasn't sure how his brother would feel with regards to his father being called in at all. That relationship was complete and utterly horrible, but he knew in this situation he knew that they needed to. Especially since the guy had referred to him and the X-Men by name. "Calm down a bit kid," he said towards Zari as he headed for the car and seeing her go racing over towards it, before glancing towards Echo as he started talking to someone on the other end of the phone who sounded like wasn't Xavier. Well that was probably going to be an interesting conversation.

"Well aren't you a bit rude," Klara grumbled in response to the dwarf who soon revealed themselves to be a Jotunn. That was just great, they had to try and get the tools down, and hope that the guy wouldn't try and mess with their attempts. "Alright Betty... Hop down now," she said as she went and picked her sword up off of the ground and allowing the cat to jump off of her shoulders. The fluffy furball went over immediately to Runa and started rubbing up against her purring rather loudly. "Think you made a friend there Runa," she commented happily.

Her attention then turned towards the tools up in the air, trying to come up with a solution on how best to reach them, when she came up with a potential solution. "I could throw someone up there," she commented, glancing towards Nadia, figuring that Runa wouldn't want to be thrown into the air. She grabbed onto Nadia, before throwing her upwards. The hard part was trying to gauge how high she needed to throw and how much force she needed to use. Since not enough wouldn't reach it, too much and Nadia would go flying past the tools. Unfortunately, it seemed to be the former as Nadia when she threw her didn't seem to reach the tools at all. "Guess I need to use a bit more strength to throw with... Nadia? You okay? Want to try again or no?" She might as well as her if she wanted to try again.

Liberty Island

"Agh, get off of me, brat! I am a god, your piss stained fingers are not worthy to touch my person!" Loki snapped at Neil, before he used his knives to slash away at Neil, who would get a few cuts on his arms and be thrown off of Loki. Using his magic though began something even worse then just a normal fireball, it seemed to almost be raining fire as it went straight down on everyone beneath it. Pietro managed to move quickly enough to get himself, Guin and Annie out of the way of the fire so that Annie didn't get hurt anymore mainly (and him just being overprotective of Guin in general). Everyone else though was fully underneath the fire's attack.

Luckily a few people seemed to be fairly unscathed, once again Wanda rather easily created a shield to protect herself from the fire, and the rest of the Avengers seemed to have no problem with the fire itself. Wanda's shield however didn't just cover her, as she had enough time to protect Bethany (and coincidentally Runa) who was nearby too from the flames. Everyone else in the group? Yeah no, they ended up getting the full extent of the attack itself. Just about the entire rest of the group got hit by the flames, but they weren't terrible burns. They were painful for sure, but they definitely lucked out a bit with how bad that could be. Hey though, no one has had their hair set on fire right?

"You aren't even worth the time, just so small, why would I fight you?" Klara responded to Iris with a bit of an annoyed look. The girl was nothing more then a worm to her, or at least it seemed that way at the moment, and with the waves crashing, it was obvious that if they weren't careful, Klara might sink the entire island. "Besides, I know more about fighting then you do, this is something that I've been doing since before you were even born." With those words, a huge wave of water came up from the ocean and seemed to swirl around Klara at a rapid pace, her hair blowing in the wind that it kicked up, before it slammed straight into Iris without missing a beat. The water would slam into her with full force, slamming Iris to the ground, but that wasn't seemingly the worse part about it. The water started enveloping her entirely, before Iris would find herself trapped (and floating off the ground) in a huge bubble, except this bubble was completely full of water and there wasn't any air in it. They had to deal with fire before, now Iris had to deal with drowning on land.

"Wonder how big of a lung capacity you have," she mused, before a large wave came up from the ocean once more, this time the giant wave coming straight towards everyone, though it might take another moment to reach the area inland that they were on the island. It was getting rather close though.

Things definitely were not good, not good at all, given their current situation. With there now being three Asgardians against them as opposed to just the one, this was getting to be difficult. Her eyes shifting back to their normal green color as Mary was trying to focus on what was going on around her. The adrenaline from the initial attack was gone, and now she was very unsteady on her feet and her skin was deathly pale at this point. Not to mention the fact that there was a lot of blood on her clothes from her injury. However she wasn't going to let that stop her from trying to do something to deal with Loki, or maybe one of the Asgardians? If Loki was still throwing fire she wasn't entirely sure if she wanted to deal with that. Glancing around, her mind was racing as Neil was within inches of Loki and probably could easily get stabbed by him again, Bethany and Wanda were dealing with Runa, which left Klara who was attempting to drown Iris.

Things were insanely hectic and her mind was trying to find something to focus on, and she wasn't seemingly really able to. "What to do..." she muttered as her vision blurred. Going out on a whim, she sent vines straight at Klara, but they weren't really traveling very quickly as Klara rather effortlessly called her sword back to her and without blinking an eye chopped them to bits. Her second attempt at an attack was more successful, even causing the bubble that Iris was in to waver slightly as Klara was knocked to the ground, but she got right back up on her feet again keeping focused still. This really wasn't working, and she felt her legs wobble as they were about to give out from underneath her.

Lance was seeing things being somewhat difficult for everyone involved, and Lance was still fighting back against a transformation, since he figured right now was not the time for it. Especially since his aunt sort of had that department handled, and if they needed him to he would, but not right now. He could do quite a bit without his Hulk form, since he had powers another way, and that was his control over light. Runa seemed dealt with, and he was seeing there still being problems with Klara as he figured that others would target Loki. One thing he noticed most about Klara was that she seemed a lot like Thor with her fighting style, meaning getting right up next to her might end poorly. She had a few ranged attacks, once again like Thor, where she throws her sword or shoots water at people. However she preferred to get up next to people. Like when she had attacked Loki before he more or less snapped his fingers to put her under his spell again, she had been right next to him.

"Alright, ranged attacks it is, let's see how this goes," he said, before (similar to what Bethany did) he created a spear of light and threw it directly at Klara. Unfortunately his aim was off and it ended up going right through the bubble of water that Iris was currently in, just barely missing her but not being useful enough to punch a hole in it to free her. "...I really need to work better on my aim," he muttered before getting closer and blasting her with light, but it didn't seem to do anything as he missed her again. He was really hoping at this point that Iris would be able to light a fire or something and get herself free or whatever. Another thought crossed his mind as he yelled out to Wanda and Bethany, "Remember don't contradict her!" he called and hoped that they knew better then to do it.

The Avengers were seemingly focusing more of their attacks on Loki. Aside from Wanda, who looked towards Bethany, "Thank you," she said simply to her. They were even at this point in her mind, Bethany had come to her aid when Runa had attacked her, and she had protected her from the fire. Her hands were still glowing red as she looked at Runa, and luckily for her, Lance had yelled loud enough for her to hear and quickly enough, so she fell silent, just glaring at Runa. The rest of the Avengers threw more then a few things at Loki, Tony was shooting off his lasers and weapons at him, while Thor sent a bolt of lightning his way, before zipping forward and knocking him backwards. Right into the She-Hulk, who apparently decided to take a page out of her cousin's book as she grabbed him by the leg and started flinging him around, before throwing him onto the ground, but he was back up on his feet again.

Mira had been relatively quiet this entire time, she still had a very slight ringing in her ears from the explosion earlier, but other then that she was just waiting for a moment to attack. Unfortunately, her powers at this close of range to just about anyone would probably deafen them (just ask Neil that one), but when Loki was starting to get knocked further and further back, she managed to find an open and let out a rather loud sonic screech. Everyone in the area would start to hear some ringing in their ears, but their hearing for the most part seemed intact. Her screech was powerful enough though to knock back both Loki and Klara. However somehow Klara was still maintaining focus on the bubble around Iris, but it rippled quite a bit from the sudden sound, but sadly Iris was still stuck in the bubble.

"Yeah, Cass is in charge of the team at this point now, she got a bit of a promotion," she responded with a bit of a shrug, before giving Astrad another sort of glare. The guy was really getting on her nerves, and she was about to snap at him again, when she stopped, utterly confused by what it was that he seemed to now be muttering to himself. That wasn't good and the idea of him saying something over and over again in a different language was not good and making him seem like even more of a weirdo then he already was. What the hell was up with him?

When Raynor translated what it was that he was saying, that concerned her a bit, "Uhhh..." was all she had managed to say before Astrad openly attacked them, but thankfully Amelia was quick to respond and blasted the shards of ice right back at him. With Raynor throwing the dagger that ended up killing him in an instant. Well that had escalated quickly, and she hadn't even had time to zap him in response or anything like that. "...That seemed like the whole Order 66 thing straight from Star Wars or something," she commented, looking over at the other two, not entirely sure what else to say at this point.

The landing was a bit rough, but having been among the people who had actually strapped into chairs made it not so bad. Andrew nodded his head slightly at Kwassi in response, before he undid the straps and got up, before going over to where Folly was and looked at her. "Alright kid, come on let's get going, this is our stop," he said to her directly, before he headed off of the quinjet now that they were at Serval since things were going to get beyond hectic. At least this way he could get the crazy kid out of the way.

"Why does everyone keep calling her a kid or whatever," he couldn't help but comment with regards to Folly and her age. Alex could somewhat understand since she looked younger then she actually was, but he figured he might want to set the record somewhat straight. "She's in her early 20s, actually if my math is right legal drinking age or something like that, old enough to drink, young enough to not be able to rent cars without a bunch of fees," he added towards Andrew, since the guy clearly was the one who was going to be somewhat dealing with her at this point.

Andrew headed off of the Quinjet and saw Evelyn standing there waiting for them, he hadn't really explained much over the message that he had sent, only telling her to meet them outside "Hey there Eve, so there is a bit of a bigger problem then everything else that has been going on with the war thing or whatever you want to call it," he said instantly to her in a sort of hushed voice in a rather quick explanation, "Apparently there is an alien invasion going on to add onto everything else, so if you can, see about helping them out, I've got to see about getting a certain somewhat psycho person to a shrink or something, haven't quite figured that out yet."

Now he was just waiting to see if they would take off again, but in the meantime he was just glancing at the building that was outside and decided he wasn't going to stay strapped into the seat for the moment and he got unbuckled and up out of the seat he was in. This day was just getting better and better, but he figured that eventually they'd get this sorted out and dealt with and they wouldn't have too much to worry about. Then again that was just wishful thinking given the fact that there was still a whole alien invasion that they had to deal with, that was going to be fun.

Jack didn't think much of who it was that they were freeing exactly, given the fact that it at least was going to cause some commotion to help cover their getaway so that they could get Red out of here. This was going to be fun, that much was certain and he headed back over to where his sister was freeing another prisoner and making a Les Mis reference out of nowhere. "Wow Meg, really with that one?" he asked her with a bit of a laugh. That was definitely an interesting reference to make given their current situation.

Of course their getaway couldn't be so simple as several guards appeared at the end of the hall, and he figured that they weren't there to help them escape. He was prepared to fight if they needed to, but apparently Megan had a different idea, and it was more or less just threatening them with her fancy sword. Jack knew the basics of Arthurian legend, so he knew that the sword was fairly big and important in the world of Camelot, so hey, maybe her just threatening them would actually work out.

Rosalia was still mentally panicking with regard to the flames that were growing, but she wasn't really wanting to show it. "Remember when it was agreed that fire was a bad idea except as a last resort since everything might burn down to the ground and it could kill a lot of people? Yeah, now I definitely agree that I'm surrounded by idiots," she commented out loud, clearly still annoyed somewhat with what was going on. She had problems trusting most people, however going back on what you had previously said and doing something completely different was a big no in her mind, and she wasn't going to trust anyone in this group ever.

Glancing towards Taylor when she made her comment about being arrested and she just shrugged her shoulders, "I've been arrested before, not fun but not horrible. Though not sure how the jails around here would be." In truth she really didn't want to find out what the jails around here were like, and was perfectly fine with moving on. Getting away from the flames was the best idea she had heard yet, and she followed after the others as more people seemed to focus and ask who this Rumple person was or something. Betting they'd find out who he was soon enough.

Jason Gauger and Marygold Isley

Location: Fields of Mars
Skills: N/A

Mary was half wondering if anyone would think anything of it if she literally shoved Demetri off of the ship while they were still in the air. Of course she wouldn't mind it, since the guy was clearly an idiot and wondered if he was going to get killed by a god or something because of who he shapeshifted to look like. The guy really needed to just stop already, since she understood that shapeshifting was fun at times, but considering the fact that there was a chance that they were going to die during this, and his shapeshifting antics weren't adding anything to the current situation aside from having him look like an idiot, there wasn't any point to it.

Jason's mind was wandering as everyone more or less got suited up in some armor, which honestly was a bit bulky and made him wonder if they couldn't have come up with something better aside from it, and he wondered what was going to happen when they reached the Romans. Of course he was still getting weirded out by the fact that there were both Roman and Greek demigods and whatnot, none of that made any sense to him, but eh, next you'd be telling him that there were a whole lot of other gods that really existed from other groups and cultures.

Once they landed, Mary got off of the flying boat (and happily got down to the ground since she didn't care too much for the flying ship, which she was never going to say out loud) and glanced to see who it was that they were greeted by. One of the group instantly introduced herself as Madalyne Crane and introduced someone else nearby named Nancy. Then her attention was drawn away from the two leaders to Demetri the Idiot. Seriously he tries to be serious but no one could take him seriously when he looked like that. She was glad that one of the leaders instantly suggested another person lead him away. That way they could be without his stupidity and maybe learn the full scope of what was going on.

He was somewhat glad to get off of the flying boat, and down on solid ground. There was the whole Demetri trying to look weird or whatever it was that he was trying to do, but he thought nothing of it and had gotten used to it at this point. Listening, he nodded his head slightly at what it was that the people who had shown up to talk to them were saying. Figuring that at the moment it was best to be quiet until he knew what the plan was. He was still new to this entire thing, so he wasn't too sure what to think about everything, and was kind of confused.

"Well if de car is brahken it can't be 'elped," she commented softly to Kristin and Zeke before she got out of the car herself, holding her can with her as she pulled her own wallet out of her pocket and held up $20 that she had kept there. "I 'ave twenty dahllars dat we cooehld use if we need to." Typically she wasn't dumb, she knew that keeping cash in her pocket typically was rather important in case of an emergency. It was somewhat useful for them at this point she supposed, since it did give them some spending money.

Zeke's comment about maybe finding a bus or something that they could use as transportation was fine with her, at least that was her opinion on the subject. They'd need to pay attention to their surroundings though, since they were going to end up in public or something like that, so who knew when monsters would pop up. "A bus is fine wit me, naht sure what Kristin dinks," she finally responded, turning her head towards the direction of their voices, saying nothing else.

"Wouldn't surprise me if we weren't alone..." Sapphire commented as she followed along closely to the group as they reached the room where the vaccines were being kept. This entire mission was a bit strange to them, but at the moment they had more important things to worry about than that, and when they got to the room, their fears about not being alone were *definitely* confirmed. That being when they went into the room and immediately saw a small group of people that were surrounding the crates of sorts. This was not good, not good at all.

"Any ideas?" she muttered to Veil when Kid Omega, the one person in the group that she recognized, revealed that they were there and Veil dropped their cloak. Of course, a few people got even more trigger happy then she typically was and instantly started attack. That didn't end well, at least for her as Kristina's lasers slammed into her shoulder. "How about you be a bit more careful?" she responded to Kristina, her tone definitely seeming to have the usual bite that she tended to have when she spoke. Maybe the pain from the injury was helping to snap her out of her problems.

Zari actually looked a little bit annoyed when Echo decided to do exactly what she had done moments before and more or less, that being charge right in without caring at all about what might happen. The other thing that annoyed her was the Mr. Stabby McStabberson (or whatever he called himself... The X-Cutioner? What sort of a name was that?) had teleported away and just disappeared entirely. Meaning that she still couldn't get revenge on him for having ripped apart Mr. Eyeball not too long ago! Ugh, why couldn't people hold still for more then a few minutes! She wasn't even paying attention to what he had said with regards to his plans.

Jack glanced towards the hooded figure who had shot his brother. Casper clearly wasn't doing too well, even with the added plus side of things being that Callie had ensure that he wouldn't bleed out. This was going to end horribly, since what the man who identified himself as the "X-Cutioner" had said, this was bad. Like beyond bad and he had no idea what it was that they should do, but heading back to the Underground and waiting for Veil's group to return definitely seemed like an idea worth doing. They had no idea what they were doing after all.

"Honestly? I'm fine. I've had waaaaaaaaaay worse injuries then just a knife wound to the stomach, where I'm from fighting is pretty common, so don't worry about it," she said to Callie with a smile as she more or less brushed off the injury. It wasn't really bugging her and her Asgardian physiology seemed to be aiding her in the healing part of the injury. It didn't really hurt anymore, and she shifted her sword back into its much smaller flashlight form, and walked towards where the others were. "Let's goooooooooooo! This place is booooooooring!"

He couldn't help but shake his head slightly at Zari, clearly the kid had a hard time focusing on one thing at a time, or keeping focused on anything for that matter. Made him wonder if she had even been paying much attention to what the hell had just happened. "Back to the Underground, and as fast as we can. When we leave though, might I suggest taking a detour of sorts, since we need to make sure no one is following us at all... Since either that guy knew we were coming and orchestrated everything, or someone tipped him off, neither are good options and we can't risk him following us," he said eventually, before heading towards the car, seeing that Waverly and James had a handle on Casper and were helping him to the car.

Klara knew about the dwarf that went over next to Runa. However there were better ways to go about dealing with the problem then yelling out loud about it. She had been about to go after the dwarf swiftly, without yelling about it, when Runa decided that now was the time to be the loudest that she had ever been and shout about the dwarf trying to walk away with the tools. "I know that, but yelling about it is not going to make anything better," she responded to Runa, before she went following after the dwarf, pulling her sword out. This was definitely a lot more trouble then it was worth, but eh, at least it was some action and something to do.

"Where do you think you are going?" she asked, pointing her sword directly at the dwarf, her cat on her shoulder was hissing, and Klara reached up and handed the cat a knife so she was now armored as well as armed. The cat was flicking her head around, clearly trying to look vicious with the knife. "Those aren't yours, and the game has only just begun? Why the quick get away? Or are you just not wanting to play fair at all? Also if you are going to steal from others, the key is to not get caught about it, just saying," she said, more then prepared to start fighting at a moments notice if she has to.

Liberty Island

Pietro's mind cleared finally due to Ed breaking the spells that had been placed on a good part of the group. The spell for him broke just in time for him to hear Iris yell to Guin about switching bodies with her right then and he shot a glare at Iris that was filled with annoyance and clearly like he wanted to strangle her. It totally was a good idea for someone who was constantly high as a kite to switch bodies with someone who used to be a freaking drug addict. Makes total sense, Don't switch with her Guina," Pietro said mentally to her, and she could hear in his voice that he was really pissed off at Iris for even suggesting that sort of thing. Actually, later he was probably going to go threaten Iris about ever asking that sort of thing ever again.

"Wanda? Think you can use your magic or whatever and heal her?" Pietro asked his sister, glancing over towards her.

Scarlet Witch looked mildly amused (likely because she knew what was going through her brother's head) before she responded, "Of course, though perhaps your wife needs to learn how to not get seriously injured." After that was said, she waved her hands that were glowing red, and Guin's legs would no longer be broken. They'd still feel fairly sore sore, and she'd still feel the slight burns she gained from the fireball, but the massive amount of damage would be repaired for the most part. "There, she might still feel pain, but a lot less broken."

"Thank you," he responded to her, before going mentally to Guin, Are you okay Guina?

Tony was relieved that Guin seemed to be okay now thanks to Wanda using her powers to heal, and he instantly started firing off a few blasts at Loki. Unfortunately they didn't seem to be doing all too much damage to Loki, just knocking him backwards somewhat with his blasts. One thing was slightly clear, at the moment Loki was clearly outnumbered since his illusions and spells were broken, and he didn't seem to be fooled by Annie's illusions. He is the trickster god after all.

Mary sent vines flying at him, knocking him backwards and to the ground, and Lance followed suit somewhat, but his aim was off with his blast of light. It probably was getting to be partially because of his head injury, seriously why was it that he almost always seemed to seriously get injured in the head in some way? Klara instantly swung her sword, but stopped within inches of Loki's neck. "It's over uncle, you can't win."

"Oh, I think you'll all find that the battle remains very much in my favor. Girls, would you mind killing them all?" he responded, before snapping his fingers. Klara was fairly confused as to how he could possibly think that, but then again, she never really understood anything that he said, but within moments she lost control as her eyes swirled with black and her sword began to glow with a slight black aura to it. She threw her sword suddenly, directly at Thor, who would managed to avoid it despite what she clearly had been aiming to do.

Perhaps Ed's misgivings about how simple it had been earlier to free Runa and Klara was well warranted?

The worst part about this at the moment was simple, as even from where they all were, they would be able to hear the water that surrounded the island begin crashing up against the sides with a massive amount of force to the point where the ground would slightly begin to shake from it. Another fireball suddenly materialized as Loki got up off of the ground, and it slammed downwards towards the group.

Luckily some people were slightly prepared for the next fireball. Mary dove off to the side, managing to for the most part avoid getting scorched from the fire. Pietro zipped over and managed to pull Guin out of the way of the fire before getting hit, and Lance threw up a shield of light that took the brunt of the attack, but he still got burned. Iris would manage to avoid getting the massive amount of damage from the brunt of the attack, but while avoiding it she'd still get partially burned from it. Annie would take the full amount of damage from it, and would be in serious pain from the burns that it caused, and Ed would get a few serious burns from the attack too. The Avengers seemed to be alright for the most part, Scarlet Witch throwing up a shield, Iron Man flying out of range, Thor getting out of the way, and She-Hulk just stood there and took the full amount of damage without much of a scratch, letting out a bit of a bored yawn.
