@Mokley I personally think that's brilliant. It's a better idea than what we came up with. (Or at least, fits with the roleplay better.) I've no doubt that Kaiachi will add her voice to mine once she is available.

1. I can agree to that, having him pause every couple of hours or so to rewind his mechanical limbs would be an interesting touch I think, actually. Just so long as I don't have to arbitrarily mention that he's doing it every single time it becomes necessary. But that does work for me.

2. Pictures are indeed fun.

3. I'll let Kaiachi answer in greater detail for her character later, but I can shed a bit of light on why Alil'taris is aware. When creating this concept, we were aware that magic was not going to be allowed. I just want to say that now. However, when you mentioned that magic HAD existed at one point, we had the idea that perhaps Razsh'Kiall came upon a stone with "magical" properties. Going along the vein of thinking that magic is simply science that is yet to be explained, we figured Razsh'Kiall would like to study this stone. Upon many months of research, our dear tinkerer would have come to a hypothesis that this stone, in synchronization with with an artificial body, could create "life". Essentially, the catalyst for his apprentice's existence wouldn't be "magical" so much as "fantastical".

If this idea isn't to your liking, we can try to work out something different, or if an agreement cannot be reached, we can make an entirely different character.

EDIT: Realized that I didn't leave much else to Kaiachi to explain, but we're working together on this whole thing anyways so it's alright. :p

Razsh'Kiall, the Syllvallan Tinkerer

Name:
In my tongue, I am Razsh’Kiall. In the common language, it roughly translates to Hugo.

Age:
I believe my kind has the potential to live up to two hundred of your human years, though syllvallans haven’t died a natural death in centuries. The passage of time you follow puts me at about twenty nine in human years.

Race:
As you may know, the syllvallans hail from Aruil’Trael, one of the great forests in the north. My people are a primitive one, as communities consist of simple tribes varying in size, stature, and civility. Those tribes on the fringes of the forest are the most cultured, while the ones near the forest’s heart are more akin to beast than man. The sorry lot near the center are as likely to cannibalize members from other tribes as they are to hunt for a deer or boar. The tribes on the very edges of the forest, however, have been known to trade with settlements near them, and do an apt job of keeping their savage counterparts away from the civilized world.

Gender:
All syllvallans are born female, though my anatomy shifted into that of a male within a few weeks of my birth.

Sexuality:
For years I have been amongst the more civilized folk, yet this concept still eludes me. We syllvallans mate when and with whomever we please, and gender is only considered when one wishes to sire a child.

Physical description:
I am six feet tall, with a lightly toned and tanned body. However, while my strength may be adequate and my speed formidable, my greatest strength is that of my mind. I bear the traditional antelope-like horns upon my head, which is also covered by long, reddish brown hair tied back into a ponytail. Accompanying this is a goatee of the same color. My irises are gold and I consider myself to be fairly attractive overall. All syllvallan have pointed ears, and sharpened, near shark-like teeth. I myself am privy to a fair number of injuries, courtesy to my habit of tinkering. My left ear is missing a piece due to a grave accident earlier in my life. This same accident dictates the necessity of numerous mechanical prosthetics, all designed by myself and my apprentice. The locations of these prosthetics are as follows; my right arm, my right foot, my entire left leg, and the index, ring, and pinkie fingers on my left hand. A rather unfortunate scar that I don’t care to describe in detail resides upon my chest, with the very top of it spilling out of my shirt collar and onto my lower neck.

Personality:
As you may have already gathered, I am quite unlike my counterparts in Aruil’Trael. My thirst for knowledge of the world was what originally led me away from the forests of Aruil’Trael, and after many decades of hard work I now consider myself knowledgeable on many subjects, as well as a master tinkerer. From the outside looking in, I can appear to be enigmatic, and acquaintances may also describe me as eccentric. Both of these may be true to some degree, but I am simply dedicated to my craft.

Traits:
My skill with machinery is unmatched, I dare say. Proof of this lies with one of my most useful creations, the compound bow caster. You see, my prosthetic arm also doubles as a deadly weapon. A panel flips up in the arm, a crossbow bolt is placed inside, that panel is closed, a small panel opens up containing the button to fire, and when pressed, a slot in the palm slides open to allow the bolt to fly out at deadly speeds. I also possess an advanced understanding of gunpowder. Alongside clockwork machinery, explosives and firearms are my specialty.

Flaws:
I can be a bit careless at times. Sometimes so absorbed I am in my work, that I will forget to eat or run important errands. Part of the reason for the existence of my apprentice is so she can help me with these tasks. The rather unfortunate accident that took a piece of my left ear took it’s hearing along with it, so I am half deaf without the help of my specially crafted hearing aid.

Alil'taris, the Mechanical Curiosity

Name:
My master named me Alil'taris. I believe it means.. wait, let me think. Flowing earth?

Age:
I've existed for a few years now, maybe six, but that doesn't say much for me.

Race:
My syllvallan master made me, so I suppose that I am an automaton with some of those racial features.

Gender:
I'm shaped and structured as a female.

Sexuality:
What's that?

Physical description:
My body is comprised of many different materials! A mixture of wood, hardened vines, metals and minerals..things like that. It's all held together with gears, vines, pullies, and some other stuff. I'm not willing to take myself apart to find out...but that's no matter. I have glowing eyes, which I rather like, and I stand at a stature of 5'7. That's just a bit taller than average, but not too much. I have syllvallan features, like pointed ears and teeth, and horns too! I cover it all up with some clothes, for decency's sake. Long flowing dresses are usual, with lots of lovely layers on them! Most are laced up in the back, but it's hard to see underneath my cloak, when I'm wearing it. I don't like to wear shoes or anything on my feet, but I fancy gloves. The master lets me gather trinkets and gems to put in my...well...hair?

Personality:
The master calls me curious. Perhaps even too curious. I like to find out how things work and make new contraptions of my own, and I'll learn anything I need to in order to qualify for it. I like learning any new trade or skill, actually! Helping my master with his projects is a favorite pastime, though I think he gets annoyed with how indecisive I can be, and then I just get bored and pursue other things. I've also been told that I talk too much, but I really like to elaborate on things so others don't misunderstand me.

Traits:
I'm a book worm, most definitely. I love to read every book I can get my hands on, especially manuals! I learn a lot from them, but I don't always understand it all until I've actually made the design with my own hands.
Being made of earth is good for a lot of things, like not getting sick. However, I'm mostly colorblind. I think I can see green and blue sometimes.
I have a knack for the arts. When drawing designs and sketches for a new project, I often get pulled into finishing it off with paint and frames...they're all over the house.

Flaws:
I don't like being told what to do, almost ever. The master guides me and instructs me, which is...okay...I guess. If anyone else tries, I get sour.
My scattered thoughts match my room. I'm terribly messy. Not dirty, mind you! Just really messy.

@Lmpkio I imagine they would all have different characteristics. The whole group doesn't need to have one set appearance. Kaiju just translates to "strange monster", so they could be anything.

Marcus Lupeworth

Marcus turned on his heel and began to walk away, sighing in defeat. The pretty redhead - that hair couldn’t be natural - Sidney, made it abundantly clear that he, and most of the other folks around her, ought to clear out. Marcus wasn’t quite sure what to make of the new host. She was easy on the eyes, at least. And besides, her words earlier implied a free meal might be in the works further down the line. He long ago resolved that anyone willing to buy him food was worth befriending, or at the very least, staying on good terms with.

Sucking on the sweet caramel in his mouth thoughtfully, his mind drifted to the other individuals present. Next to Sidney, Trench Coat guy was certainly the one to make the biggest impression on him. Dwight something or other, Marcus thought. He seemed just a bit miffed about something to say the least. That fellow certainly wasn’t hard to look at himself, but he seemed just a tad scary.

Deeper into his thoughts Marcus sank, so deep in fact, that he wound up walking right into an unsuspecting employee while Scarlet snickered to herself. “Oh, hey, sorry about that.” - Here now Marcus began to rub the back of his neck awkwardly for a while, to really sell the fact that he was apologetic. He, in fact, was not. - “Anyways, I’m incredibly lost, and you are?”
