Bio

Absolute clown. Dark and gritty superhero fan fiction guaranteed or your money back.

... Guess I should fill this out with something about myself.

I'm Uni, an aspiring musician and current fast food slave in his early 20s. I used to roleplay a lot as a teenager but fell out of the habit and now I'm trying to get back into it. I'm a sucker for comic book roleplays but I'm down for pretty much anything usually. My favorite genre is sci-fi but I fuck with fantasy, horror, slice of life... Like I said, pretty much anything.

Feel free to hit me up if you want to talk or something. I'm more active on Discord where I'm known as captainunicycle.

Kit was awestruck by the Avenger the moment he set foot on it, impressed by the size of the ship and the technology found aboard it. He didn't eat or drink much at the feast, just a little snack of cheese and bread. He didn't need to eat so he figured he wouldn't take too much, considering there were others that actually needed the sustenance. As the banquet winded down and Kit found out where he would be bunking, he left the banquet early to get acclimated with his new quarters.

Kit's night was spent in silent meditation, even as his roommate Harry snored. It had been a long while since he had slept, before he had become undead even. He lost track of just how many years he'd been alive (or dead, rather), the memories of a life before that point turning to ashes that he would grasp and attempt to hold onto even as they fell through his fingers. He was amazed he was able to remember that little toy horse he had as a young boy. It was a long, long time ago that he had been a child. He couldn't even remember the faces of his parents. He felt a sense of melancholy there, but he tried to force the feeling back down as much as possible. That feeling wouldn't help.

Kit's meditation was interrupted by the klaxon blaring coming from everywhere. He wasn't sure just what the sound was, nor how it could be coming from all over the place. It continued to grow louder and louder until it eventually stopped. By that point, he heard multiple people getting up and ready for the day. He wondered if that noise had been like some kind of bell ringing to wake everyone up. He shook his head, not quite sure what to make of all this technology.

At breakfast, Kit sat down and had a bowl of oatmeal, finishing it off quickly but continuing to sit there, observing everyone. It was certainly a motley crew of individuals from all sorts of walks of life, each with a unique story to tell. Kit was curious to get to know them, hoping to forge bonds with the people he had decided to band together with. He wondered if maybe they'd find anyone he knew out in the wilds. He dearly missed Solaire, as well as all the other allies he had made... But another part of him thought back on an enemy.

Lautrec.

The heartless bastard that had killed the Firekeeper, betraying everyone at Firelink Shrine and damning what had once been a warm place where weary travelers could rest for even a moment. He wasn't sure if Firelink Shrine even existed in this world, or any other place he had been to, but he knew that if everyone was thrown into this world, that meant Lautrec was too. He would find the bastard and cut him down, whatever it took.

As breakfast finished up and everyone made their way to the vehicle bay, Kit followed after them. Entering the vehicle bay, Kit marveled at all the vehicles there, not even beginning to comprehend how they worked. He was used to walking everywhere he went, having never ridden a horse or a carriage. But these carriages didn't even need horses. It was so unusual, but it seemed like the future itself was unusual. He'd get used to it eventually, surely.

He listened intently as Sandalphon spoke, feeling a bit of pride in his chest as she announced the names of the new recruits. The speech continued, warning that the supplies were running low aboard the ship and that they need to restock. He was sure that between all of them they could find a way to get the supplies they needed. Eventually the speech was over and everyone collected their gear. Kit wouldn't have much use of the water canteen, or the medkit for that matter, but at least it could be used as a backup for anyone who had run out of theirs.

Gold Team departed in their hellpods. Kit stood around after fixing his Focus Sash around his left bicep, gazing at all the people that he would be working with. He was a bit disappointed to be separated from Big Band, Harry, and Snowball, but he supposed that at least Heismay would be there. As the view outside became that of snowy mountains and plains, Kit was among the first to board the Pelican-1.

Time for another adventure.

Kit had watched the showdown between his group and the guards in silence, a hand kept on his sword just in case things escalated far enough. It wasn't going too well until Heismay decided to step in, transforming into a new form that seemed properly intimidating. His show of power was enough to convince the guardsmen to finally check underneath their castle, and Kit let his hand fall from his sword with a sigh of relief at that.

As the group came together to step out of the cave, Kit waved goodbye to the young boy he had given the horse to. The group left the cave behind, stepping out of the mountain pass to gaze upon the lake. Kit looked at the others, then spoke up, "Let's hope we can find that monster. All these kids are relying on us."
I've always associated this song with Roy for some odd reason.

The journey past the lake and into the mountains was spent in silence for Kit, the knight forgoing talking to think on his newly unlocked memories. It felt like a lifetime ago that he was in Lordran, fighting undead and beasts alike. He'd spent his time in the World of Light doing the same thing, just without a goal. He supposed that some part of him was always meant to be a kind of hunter of the vile, so much so that even with his memories wiped he'd still continue doing it.

As the group entered the cavern, Kit lit up his lantern so that they could see where they were going. They continued in silence until they reached their destination, a shanty town within the cavern. This was where the children were being kept. Kit watched as Heismay approached the door of one of the buildings and knocked on it, talking with one of the children who let him into the building. The group entered into the room and Kit took in the messy living room.

As one of the children talked to Big Band, Kit approached the toys and knelt down to inspect one, a small wooden horse. He picked it up and looked at it, thinking back on an ancient memory of his childhood. He could barely remember it with how long it had been, but it brought him some comfort. One of the children approached him warily as he examined the horse, and he looked over to the child who opened his hands. Kit smiled then passed the boy the horse, the boy smiling wide as he took the toy into his hands.

Roy watched in silence as the Titans gathered together, discussing their latest mission. Cinderblock was a pain to bring down once, but he was sure they could do it again. His explosive arrows could blow chunks off the villain, but he didn't want to kill him like Troia was suggesting. They were heroes, not killers for hire.

Jupiter spoke to the team, "Make it so. Green Lantern, Robin and Martian will investigate the transport and see if they can determine how Cinderblock escaped. Arsenal, Stitch and I will take to the T-Bird for the eagle-eye view; Superboy and Wondergirl will fly ahead, with Kid Flash holding the line until we arrive." Troia left after that, Conner following behind her. As he watched the two leave, he could feel a body coming up close to him, then a nudge to his ribs that made him turn towards the person who had stepped up to him.

Stitch.

They were probably the most interesting member of the team, if only for their unique origin. A laundry pile given a soul was definitely cooler than Roy's own background. Roy grinned as Stitch commented on him being able to make his sixteenth bullseye. "Y'know, you make a good point. I've never had the pleasure to try shooting from an aircraft before anyway. I'm sure I'll get some good shots in. As for competition..." He rubbed his chin for a moment, then snapped his fingers. "Whoever lands five shots on him first wins." That seemed fair enough. They'd have to come up with a prize later.

The desperate chase through the mansion passed by in a blur, Kit running through (and being thrown around in) the interior with the others. As Band shot the heart at him that entered his body, Kit found himself wondering for a moment what had happened to Anor Londo and why he was in some creepy manor. His head was in a jumble with his unlocked memories merging with the memories he had made in the World of Light. Still, he kept on running, and eventually the group found their way out of the Curien Mansion. Hopping into Stein's Atom, the group made their way away from the manor and into the wilderness.

Kit sat there in the Atom, taking off his helmet so he could breathe easier. He racked his brain trying to figure out just how he had gotten here. One moment he was in Anor Londo, the city of the gods, and then he was in the woods. He was confused, and scared, and frustrated. He wished for a moment that Solaire was here, the jolly knight being one of the few comforting presences he had known in his time in Lordran. But Lordran seemed far away now. He was in a strange land.

Band explained the predicament to Kit and Harry, the knight wondering just how many other worlds there had been. He was amazed at the technology that he had seen, what with Big Band the mechanical man and the giant vehicle they took a ride in to get out here. As Band finished, Kit nodded, his resolve strengthened. "This world is foreign to me, but I know that even in this strange new land I must continue to do the right thing. We'll destroy the monster that merged all of our worlds, but as you say, the children come first. I'm with you, Big Band."

The training room in the tower was stacked with all sorts of equipment. Weights for Troia and Conner, treadmills for Wally (he had rigged one up just to make sure he wouldn't break it, something the speedster was not happy about), some kind of acrobatic jungle gym for Dick. And last but certainly not least, an archery range for the team's resident bowman. As Dick practiced his acrobatics on the other side of the room, Roy was busy brushing up on his marksmanship.

*THWIP!*

"Bullseye. Fifteen in a row." Roy smirked, stepping up to the target to remove the arrow. He slid it back into his quiver and walked back to the firing line. Nocking another arrow, he took in a deep breath and drew back the bowstring. Time for another bullse-

*BWEEP!* *BWEEP!* *BWEEP!*

Roy looked away for just a moment as the alarms blared, letting the arrow fly. When he looked back, he found the arrow had hit a wall instead.

Shit.

Then Jupiter's voice played over the PA system, "All team members please suit up. We have a situation developing."

Shit.

With a sigh, Roy slid the bow across his back and left the training room. Dick had already gotten ready and left the room by the time the archer was heading out. "Always the first one to answer the call," Roy chuckled to himself as he walked down the halls of the tower. He made his way to the equipment room, getting dressed in his costume and filling his quiver with some various trick arrows.

Roy made his way to the kitchen, only to find that Robin was there along with Wally. The two were exchanging banter, Robin scolding Wally for the speedster's slothfulness while Wally laughed it off as always. Roy just sighed at the two, piping up, "C'mon Dick, let the guy eat. He's a growing boy."
