Baha I snickered at Jasper XD. And yep! All 12 characters are now introduced. Assuming no one has any last minute surprise characters they want to add, I'll write the next post after work tomorrow. At the beginning of the post, the story will show a nexus point where the Sentinel ships are depositing their thousands of cryopods into a space station sorting facility. Those not marked as Traveler Candidates are loaded into vessels bound for Battleworld, while the Candidates' pods are lined up in groups of 12 and loaded into smaller ships for transport to the Inquisitor's Citadel. The Arishem-Exar is among a larger fleet of these vessels, and then the Inquisitor teleports from ship to ship to Soulgaze each group of 12. Once they are dismissed as Candidates, a group is then sent to Battleworld as well.

EDIT for clarity: Our particular group doesn't make it to the Soulgaze due to Doctor Strange rescuing them.

Sorry about the mix up. As for the Wolverine scene, I completely wasn't remembering properly when I said the ship appeared in atmosphere. If you wish I can edit it, but that will be up to you. As for the Darkhawk scene, I did have a sentence stating that the only thing interesting that had happened on Excalibur was an unknown powered individual teleporting onto the station before teleporting away. While I didn't specifically say that this was America, that is what I intended to happen. So let me know if you want me to do any edits.

Ah, okay, since you mentioned teleporting instead of a portal, I didn't think you meant America. I just figured maybe it was Nightcrawler reference or something, lol. That makes more sense now XD. No, no edits are necessary. Great posts everyone! Although there were some aspects of a couple of the posts that I took issue with, overall, it seems we have a strong writing team! Everyone seems rather adept at creating a scene that is fun to read. Great job, everyone!

I have two minor issues, but not enough to require an edit or anything. The first is that you had the ship enter the atmosphere in Wolverine's intro, though normally these Sentinels keep their ships in orbit and teleport down to the surface. However, I'm willing to overlook that and not require an edit since it is a small, trivial thing. My second issue is the Sentinels boarding the Excalibur, meaning a Traveler Scar is on a space station that has apparently only existed for a few months. If America had suddenly opened a star portal onto the Excalibur, chances are such an event would have triggered a massive security alert by the station's personnel and put everyone on edge. You mentioned there had been no incursions since the station was built, so it seems unlikely that any star portals opened on the facility once it was operational. However, I am willing to overlook this, and we can just assume that some part of the station was constructed using repurposed materials, perhaps a large piece of scrap metal that at one time was sitting in a junk yard somewhere and had a Traveler Scar embedded into it while America was passing through.

working on my intro post for jasper now, but before i go any further with it i just wanted to check: have we reached the cut-off point for characters yet? if not, i was considering bringing in an interpretation of iron lad as my second character.

That's fine, the cut-off will be once all the characters are thawed out and being prepared to meet the Inquisitor. Up until I write that second post moving us to that point, we're still open to new characters and new writers as well XD.

@Dead Cruiser Perhaps I should have detailed the Sentinels out more, but I assumed this line from my intro post would convey the message that these robots were extremely powerful:

“Bloody hell!” he cried out as he, same as everyone else who faced the Sentinels, got his ass thoroughly handed to him.

I had assumed that would adequately convey the message that everyone should struggle to fight off the robots, but perhaps I should have included more context. Moving forward, I will put more effort into detailing out specifics in that regard, and if you're ever unsure about anything, feel free to shoot me a DM to discuss it. XD

@Dead Cruiser Your post was awesome up until the lime-green portals, then everything kind of went to hell, lol. I'm going to have to ask you to edit it on two points: One, the Sentinels would have arrived in orbit on their ship first, and then would teleport down to the Traveler Scar. So, it would be more akin to "beaming down" from Star Trek rather than using the lime-green portals you mentioned.

And two, you need to drastically tone down Terra's power. It makes the rest of the characters essentially useless if you're just going to one-shot everything, lol. Regardless of how strong she is in the comics, in the Multiverse of this RP, there is no way she would "tear through them like paper" when fighting the Sentinels. All the other characters were clearly struggling against them, and then you have Terra come in and just wipe a bunch of them out effortlessly. If she can so easily defeat Sentinels empowered by and working for a cosmic being such as the Beyonder, then there is no sense of danger as you will likely just have her one-shot everything we go up against, lol. That takes the fun out of the RP.

Think of the power dampeners within the Sentinels as Kryptonite to powered individuals. As soon as Terra gets close to them, she should instantly feel herself start to weaken. I understand the desire to keep her comics-accurate, but the goal should be to create a good synergy between all the characters, not elevate yourself to ridiculous power levels above everyone else in the group XD.

Since none of us will be interacting for this first post I imagine the next one will be us arriving at wherever the ships are taking us?

Yeah, once everyone has their opening post done, I will be moving the story to the Arishem-Exar in my next post. Each intro post should end with the characters placed in cryogenic stasis, and then in the subsequent posts, we are all being thawed out in preparation for the Inquisitor's arrival. So, our characters won't actually meet each other until that second post.

It can be whatever you want. Also, since not all universes share the exact same date and time, don't feel obligated to stick to Summer of 2023. Some universes might only be off by a few nanoseconds, while others could be centuries off. Not all universes began existence at the exact same moment, some were spawned off at later dates, either due to cosmic incursions or parallel timelines as a result of time travel. Basically, there are many thousands of universes in the Multiverse, so just have fun with it XD.
