@Zarkun I will be writing up my post tomorrow! I haven't received a reply from @Burthstone yet for Rosalina, but that's okay. I'll skip her ahead in the timeline just a bit to respond to Mako and then when Burth is ready to reply for Gregory we can just do it as a sort of "in the past" kind of thing.
The post is a bit rushed, I apologise, but I wanted to get something out to you tonight before I had to go off and do something.
Kwelek Djilyaro, 'Kwenda'

The others were quick to gather near Alkina's tent, which surprised Kwelek. He was sure that one of them would have tattled on him to the approaching elders. Yet he looked around to find that everyone was huddled around Kwelek and the journal, as if expecting him to say something. The silence lingered for a moment too long before the young Ansharin realised he couldn't wait forever. Brushing off the dirt from the front of the journal, he began flipping through pages with an expression of pure wonder. He beamed at the strange, intricate markings that were scrawled all. There were some relatively details drawings, but nothing he recognised.
"I'm not really sure what this is," admitted Kwelek in response to the various questions aimed towards him. He turned the page to find a rather curious drawing of a mountain. There were more markings scratched into the picture, but Kwelek could have sworn there was something familiar about the mountain. There seemed to be a drawing along the face of the mountain of a large gate, with an odd symbol that looked like a face, though not human. He didn't know what the face meant, but he definitely knew what a the gate meant.

"I think this is a drawing of the forbidden mountain. The one," He stopped for a moment, hesitating to say the name. "The one that Kwilana visited". No doubt mentioning the heretics name would cause discomfort. Rarely ever seen or heard from, Kwilana was a person surrounded by mystery and superstition. Ever since he was little, Kwelek's grandfather had warned him to never speak to the Witch Kwilana, who was trapped inside her tent to keep her away from the Ansharin. There were many stories spread to Kwelek in his youth about how Kwilana was a demon who devoured children who didn't listen to the elders. Of coarse it all seemed silly at the time, the young Ansharin thinking himself brave enough to show no fear towards the Witch. This time was different, however. Having only ever acknowledged her existence for the sake of a jest, Kwelek was terrified of the idea that Kwilana would be related to this journal in some way. He looked at the others, awaiting their thoughts in the hopes that someone would disprove him. Though he highly doubted it.

There were many mountains throughout the Dreamscape, creating a formidable wall to the rest of the world. The Ansharin frequented most of them in search of supplies, all except one. It was a strange mountain, more of a plateau really. It was wide, but not very tall. At the face of the mountain was a large gate of stone covered in strange markings that no one had been able to decipher. Everyone in the tribe was familiar with the gate, as the hunters often found themselves rather close to it when chasing down animals. They'd always tell Kwelek of the unsettling feeling they felt when approaching it. Kwelek was tingling with anxiousness, but he was also excited. Kwilana scared him terribly, but there was a certain appeal to the fantasy that he would be the one to unearth the secrets of the mountain. It was a silly thought, yet he could feel his curiosity beginning to itch.

Nicholas had remained quiet for most of the introductions. Anyone who knew the young man would have noticed how strange it was for him to not be the life of the party. In the heat of the moment, the new Miraculous wielder just couldn't shake the excitement and anxiousness of being an actual superhero. Bounding up and down on the spot, Nicholas took note of his companions. Talon, Skleros, Nocturne, Bold Badger and Spinstress. Each Miraculous unique in their own way. He suddenly felt all eyes on him. Not literally of course; the others were busy helping out the trapped students and arguing with Talon. Though there was a certain stillness in the air, like they were all expecting Nicholas to finish up the introductions with his own. It took him a moment, but eventually the Dragonfly Miraculous cleared his throat and spoke up with his usual, obnoxiously cheery voice.

"Man, look at us!" He began, slinging his arm around Skleros' neck as a friendly gesture, "We sure do look like one hell of a bad ass squad. I'm Ni-". He immediately stopped himself, recalling the words originally spoken by Nocturne about keeping their identity a secret. He wasn't entirely sure why, since being recognised as heroes seemed like a sweet deal. Though he didn't want to be the only one revealing the big secret. Secrets could be cool as well.

It was here he had to stop and think. If he couldn't call himself Nicholas, then what should his hero name be? He could always go with Dragonfly, but he didn't want people associating him with an awful parody moving staring a now irrelevant Nickelodeon actor. He thought back to everything he knew about Dragonfly's; which wasn't much. You don't just find yourself randomly looking up these things. Though he did recall that Dragonfly's, as well as similar insects, all fell under one umbrella term. Making the decision final, Nicholas was ready to introduce himself.
"Call me Odonata! I'm the Dragonfly Miraculous. I'm not really sure what I specialise in. Though I seem to be able to see everywhere around me at once. That's kind of neat. Oh I also have this!" Moving away from Skleros, Nicholas spent the next few moments giddily playing around with his baton, pretending it was some form of magic wand.

Talon spoke up about his idea to use Skleros as a wrecking ball to escape. While the Armadillo Miraculous didn't seem very fond of him, he agreed with the plan and began growing in size seemingly at his command. It was truly a spectacle, though Nicholas was focusing on something much different than Skleros' sudden increase in mass. Not that it wasn't cool, and Nicholas would normally be jumping up and down with excitement for his new friend. However at the moment, something had caught his eye. He wasn't sure why, but he knew that he was seeing something that the others couldn't. Skleros, now a giant of a man, seemed to have an addition to his suit; a pair of golden, translucent dragonfly wings floating ominously a few inches from his shoulders. The wings remained stationary, and even Skleros seemed oblivious to them. It was quite obvious, even to Nicholas, that this strange development had something to do with his powers. Holding onto that thought, Nicholas decided it would be best not to rush into anything. He wasn't given the run down on what he was capable of, and he didn't want to run the risk of harming a team mate accidently.
Work better pay for my therapy for all the Thomas the Tank Engine PTSD I'll be experiencing after this week.
I need to fix this insomnia... o.o

I always say this to people and they tell me "just go to bed earlier"

Like GEE THANKS. I SHOULD JUST FIX MY INABILITY TO SLEEP BY TRYING TO SLEEP EARLIER. I'M CURED.
The post is almost done, but my errands kept me out later than I expected. I need to go to bed now, so expect it tomorrow after work for sure.
Okay so I got held up quite a while with that thing... sorry, the post will have to wait until tomorrow. I feel awful having to keep saying that, but I guess that's just life right now.

Apologies again.
So I'll be getting started on that post this evening after I get some other things out of the way. There is something I would like to bring up though and it mostly pertains to what I have planned for the roleplay. The tl;dr is that it's not much, yet.

I have certain places that would be relevant for the group to visit on their journey planned, as well as the catalyst event that kind of forces them to have to begin the journey. However nothing is set in stone.

So basically if you guys can think of any places/side stories that you think would be interesting and/or beneficial to your character (as well as others), please bring it up! I want the world of Eden to be a place created by all of us, not just me as GM. Of coarse, there are over-arching plot things that will come into play and I'll be sure to add that in at appropriate times.

There is also one other thing. I will soon be working on a brief explanation of what magic is in this universe. It's not incredibly different from magic you'd see in any other fantasy roleplay; though it does have certain cultural implications that will effect our characters (Kwilana being shunned as a heretic in the Anshar tribe should make it pretty obvious as to what the Ansharin think of it). With the catalyst event I mentioned earlier, our characters will slowly be introduced to magic.
@Invader Len That's very good news!

I'm currently writing up my incredibly overdue post! It will have to go on hold for a few hours since I need to go do grocery shopping and run a few errands this evening.
