It was finally here. The moment she had waited for ever since her father had visited her and told her she was going to be travelling to Caseonia. This was the moment when the grand ballroom doors would open, and she would be introduced to society. Then there, she would lock eyes with someone, and well, the rest had already been written a thousand times by a thousand different romance authors. Just as it had been written and she had read many times over, this obviously meant this was the moment she would get her happily ever after with her one true love.

Amira could hardly wait, she fiddled with her jangling adornments as she corrected herself in a mirror before finally looking satisfied. She, after all, had to make a good impression on her future suitor. Looking to the doorman, she gave him a warm smile and nodded.

"Shehzadi Amira Kadir of Alidasht," announced the herald as the doors opened, presenting the young princess who glowed with youth and excitement. She was dressed in her finest bright blue attire that was decorated with silver and jewels that shone under the candlelight. Her smile beamed down at those down the stairs as she took in all that her auburn eyes could take in.

Slowly, very slowly, she took down the stairs, all while reminding herself not to trip on her skirt. She did not need to make an idiot of herself in front of so many nobles. Even with her careful approach, she kept her eyes sweeping over the faces in the ballroom. Looking, scouting for those eyes she just knew would grab her heart.

Making it to the ballroom floor, she gave out a little sigh of relief. So far so good.

Approaching the Casenoia royals, she looked up at the king with a smile that showed no second thoughts or even knowledge of what he had just committed.

She simply curtsied, as she had practiced many a time in front of her tutors and mirrors. Then, with warmth that seemed to follow her from her homeland, she politely said, "Blessings to Caseonia and their king."

Seeing that seemed to be enough, she took his silence as her being excused. So without hesitation, she was quickly walking towards the ballroom area. Her eyes were still searching, looking at every man around her age with curiosity.

Though the longer she walked through the ballroom, the more she realised that she did really have any specific person to talk to or really anything to do. Her enthusiasm dampened slightly, but she tried to tell herself it was still early and took a glass of wine from a server.

Standing off to the side, she unsurely sipped on her red wine as she watched all before her with interest. Even if she didn't meet her one true love right now, that didn't mean she might not see someone else doing so.

Definitely interested if there are still spots :D

I would love to play a noble lady from the Varian Kingdom if possible

or maybe a witch? or both??

The club was stifling. It all felt like it was closing in as the chatter died out and the eyes turned to stare at her. Leaving nothing but the sharp clicks of her heels on the wooden stage and heavy anticipation. Alora pretended none of it affected her though as she prowled up to the microphone stand.

There she stood, her dress was a little glamorous number that shone like opalite under the spotlight. With her long pale lavender hair falling down her back, she looked like eatheral. Yet she paid no attention to the enamored audience, eyes looking through them.

Then, as all eyes were glued to her, her lips brushed against the microphone and she breathed out the first words of the song.

"You had plenty money in 1922"

The music from the band next to the stage started to lightly play, bringing more warmth and energy to the next bits of her song.

"You let other women make a fool of you"

Eventually, she looked up and eyes that swam with syrupy purple, that seemed to have a hold on anyone they landed on. So softly and sweetly the words were sung as though they were as natural for her as breathing.

"Why don't you do right?
Like some other men do
Get out of here and get me some money, too"

Now as the audience watched on, Alora reached out with her slender fingers to those who could not look away.

"You're sittin' down wonderin' what it's all about
You ain't got no money that will put you out"

Most who saw her would assume her gesture of bringing her hand back closer to her was part of the entertainment. What they did not know though was in her grasp, the fae glamoured up to the tenths was pulling their joy and desire towards her. Stealing the feelings, or as she would say, taking what they had offered her to her own self.

There on the stage, the warmth of the emotions flooded her and a genuine grin and lopsided grin began to grow on her face.

"Why don't you do right?
Like some other men do
Get out of here and get me some money, too"

Finally, for the first time in 24 hours, she could feel affection towards herself. So Alora pulled and pulled, drinking in all the feelings she could get.

Her singing continued so easily, it was so easy, she had done it a thousand times before. However as the song started to finish, her words got louder and her hands on her microphone became more lax.

"Like some other men do
Like some other men do"

Now with a much more relaxed body, she made her way behind the velvet curtain. She seemed to stumble for a second but luckily she was out of the view by that point. Instead, all she heard as she annoyedly through off those high heels her sister had always loved so much were the cheers of the audience and the announcement of, "And that was our lovely Chimere!"

Hair now messy and in front of her face, the fae pushed it back to look at herself in the mirror and there once again was Chimere. Perfect beautiful Chimere...

Alora needed a drink.
Right: Before I toss this RP back into the frying pan, I'm going to do another headcount so I know who is still around or not. If you're sticking around, please post here so I can cross your name off.

Core Motivation
Her motivation for the longest time has been to 'feed' off people's attention and love for her as she performed as Chimere but something is starting to feel off. Lately the only thing that she can be sure of is her motivation to get Dominic to notice her.

Personality Overview
A lost soul, Alora is a confusion to even herself. For the longest time she has been addicted to being the center of attention and getting all the love she could from her audience. Lately things have started to become stale though and her obsessive eye is looking else where.

She is naturally a very loud and vibrant person but the mask she created has made her hide that and become calm and cool while others are around her. It has gotten to the point where her brightness has started to dim because she doesn't seem to know who she is anymore. The only time she truly feels like she is herself these days are when she gives in to her guilty pleasure of romance novels. There she doesn't have to choose who she truly is.
