If I ever imply France in an RP where, for example, the context for calling something "French Toast" doesn't exist, you can know that's not me.

Bio

I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.

Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

What?
Trinity Stratos

Trinity eyed the man cautiously. That seemed like a very strange contest. Maybe not impossible, but nothing she'd expect to find in the Capital. There was a cut on his stomach... Hm. She took a breath, calming herself and stroking Karn's fur tenderly. She wouldn't press him about the blood, she had more important things to worry about. "He's not doing well," Trinity frowned, shaking her head before she continued with a soft sigh, "he's got an illness of some kind. He won't speak about it, even though it's bad. Getting worse, from the looks of things. He coughs up blood. I don't know if there are other symptoms."

Though, I can understand where Jamie is coming from. At the same time, as long as the risks are understood, no one can really complain if something happens.

Phoenix Slayer? Penny? Did she miss a memo or something? Her head turned to Penny quickly, though she tried to mask the surprise on her face. She didn't to derail the conversation or anything. Penny wanted to talk to the other Phoenix Slayer, then? Probably for mentoring purposes, asking for advice on techniques? Well, she wouldn't pry. "I'm not sure. I'll have to keep an eye out for y-"

The young minstrel was interrupted as a bloody mass emerged over her shoulder, peering down at the Karn sleeping in her lap. She yelped softly, scooping Karn up against her shoulder and slipping out of her seat, spinning to face the apparent monster. She turned her body to protect Karn, though she gave pause as she made out the figure that had approached her. "Ah... it's you. The hell is wrong with you?" She would have really reamed him out if Karn wasn't sleeping. "The blazes are you covered in?"

Jasmine, from Black Forge Monthly

A familiar voice called her attention away from scanning the Phoenix Wing balcony. She looked over to find a similarly familiar man approaching her. "Bro! Hey, Riley, what're you doing here, the Magic Games? I thought you were in fashion." Well, wizards did tend to... dress, didn't they. "I suppose there are some pretty snappy dressers here, huh? It must be good material for your magazine. Anything caught your eye so far?"

And 13 hours later, I come home from work. Good evening, everyone.
Private Regan Durandal

"A slap isn't going to solve blood loss, you-" The Sergeant cut her off. She flinched, looking aside and taking a deep breath. "Y-yes sir." She got emotional and lost her temper. She should have more discipline than that! She was disappointed, but more than that, she was worried. The private gazed at Lilly. The woman had actually been welcoming to her, as opposed to some of the other responses she got. Hunt's included. She turned her attention to the collapsed building, frowning. She left her mortar lance behind, and it didn't sit right with her. She couldn't let that go. It was her father's.

Instead of returning to the APC, Private Durandal went to the rubble of the building she emerged from. If she could find where she was, she should be able to locate her lance. Here. This section of the roof was cut. Meaning where she dropped her lance shouldn't be far. It should be about... here! The young lady begins to move pieces of the rubble aside with her left arm, not using her right for to save her shoulder, still unaware of the cut on her back. It was closed at the time, but it was bound to open up sooner or later with how much she was moving.

Trinity had turned her attention to the fight in the arena. She was listening, but she was also watching. That was a lot of power, right there. Overwhelming... Well, at least she wouldn't have to fight that person in an arena duel. She had to doubt her ability to stand up to a person like that, even with Energy Make. Scary...

''The Phoenix Slayer? I can't say that I do, no.'' Trinity turned to look at Penny as she answered. ''What do you need from 'em?'' The minstrel had herself a seat, leaning back so Karn could lay comfortably against her while he napped.

Jasmine, from Black Forge Monthly

Wow. That had really been something. All that attack power, from a single woman. So that's what magic was capable of? "Oh, man, that was so RAD, I gotta get this down!" She was really starting to be glad she came! If she was going to get into it, maybe she should interview someone? She'd have to start thinking of good candidates. Both of the contestants from this fight would be good. She was more excited about the Librarian, but she shouldn't neglect such an obvious angle as her opponent.

Already done with her notes for that fight, the journalist turns around the scans the crowds. Wasn't there someone missing from Phoenix Wing today? A few people, actually...
