If I ever imply France in an RP where, for example, the context for calling something "French Toast" doesn't exist, you can know that's not me.

Bio

I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.

Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

Well, the facade she put up on her way in was shakey at best, after all, of course Ria saw through it. "Yeah, I'll get a drink. Thanks." It would probably be best to talk about it with someone from the guild, anyway. As much as she really just wished that fatass would disappear, she knew he wouldn't.

Another voice, a greeting and an introduction, brought her out from her thoughts. "Ah, mornin', Ronan. I'm Trinity. I, uh... Damn, it's morning still? I feel a little weird getting a drink, but," she thought about it as she rolled behind the bar, giving a shudder and deciding, yes, she definitely wanted a drink. "Do you want anything while I'm back here?" She found herself a nice Kingdom Stout, strong and malty sweet, and whatever Ronan might have asked for, as she came back around.

Trinity plopped herself into a seat, letting the energy of her Roller Boots dissipate into nothing. She took a little bit if that energy to make the dremel she'd used to free herself earlier, staring at it. Bard's Legerdemain wouldn't have been able to free her from ropes. She should be grateful... She popped the bottle open with the dremel and extended the favor to Ronan before letting the dremel disappear, as well. She didn't need to pour her problems into the newest guild members, so maybe she should make some small talk, "I have a hard time telling who's new or not, but I know I haven't seen you around before. You just joined?" She sipped, taking a moment to savor the flavor of the beer she'd picked out. It was a good one.

It had been some time since she'd worked in a proper kitchen like this. With extra hands all around her, even. "My guild master would love to meet you, madam Olga. He's a more skilled chef than I, though he also tends to be more... Orthodox." As she shut the oven with the baked goods inside. Zhulie was peering inside with all obvious enthusiasm, and Regan joined her for a moment. "Twenty minutes, or five more."

As Olga, Regan was interrupted by a certain, recently familiar stench entering the kitchen. For her, it was punctuated by the elder cook scolding the offender. She watched and appreciated the boy get reprimanded and fed in the same turn, before he retreated toward herself and Zhulie, probably to lick his social wounds in agreeable company.

Not that he would find it here. Gross indeed, Zhulie. "Get your stench out of the kitchen before it infests..." she trailed off, hearing the commotion from outside the kitchen. She moved to the door of the kitchen, just in time to hear a particular sentiment, "please, you have to get him back."

She listened through Meredith's briefing, glanced at Olga apologetically, and turned to Bullet, putting a hand on his shoulder, "hey. You're the type that would throw in, despite your injuries, right? Guess what, you need to rest. I'll go for you. Wash up before your stink ruins my baked goods and keep the darling company." Speaking of, Regan called over, "remember, Zhulie, twenty minutes, maybe five more." Really, she was just relieved that the only thing left to do was take them out. It would be best if they were fresh when eaten, though. Twenty four minutes, huh...? That might be tough.

As she left the kitchen, she was making a few adjustments to her equipment and person. She took her sword from its travel position on her back and moved it to her hip, easier to draw, and shortened her pony tail with a bun. She found a familiar face, and approached, "Lady Manami, I'm glad I could catch you. I will assist my gracious hosts, if you would allow me." She wasn't sure which squad she should fold in to. It sounded like either could benefit from her help, but perhaps they had mages that we better suited for one or the other? Then again, she'd have a hard time asking a direwolf for information, maybe she'd be better off beating up poachers for potential info.
I'm just sad we don't have any Goron or Zora friends in here.
Nabooru's face, even if she could be seen underneath the armor, wouldn't have betrayed much of anything. There was no expression. She could only do as commanded, and she resisted too much to be given room to think on her own. No, best to keep a tight leash until later, when more work can be done. The spirited woman would use any leeway she could.

The sight of a once prosperous town in flames hurt. She would have cried, had she the freedom. Why this destruction? There was no gain in this, not even a thief would be happy. But her orders were not to be disobeyed, she charged with her sisters into the town, cutting down the men that were only trying to protect something.

Her heart ached. She tried her best not to think about what her body was doing without her.

"My Liege! Fighting in the streets! Monsters and Gerudo march on the castle! The Gorons drum for war!"

"No... Evacuate the citizens! We must save as many lives as we can!" He felt so helpless, but it wasn't like he could do much, himself, anyway. Much too fat. Though, he could at least move closer...

Sploooooosh

The Zora King sloshed into the pool below him, making his way to the nearest cove, so he could see things himself. His messengers would not have to travel so far, either.

"It is true..."

~~~
Darunia had retrieved his drums and his hammer. Not the megaton, oh no. That was kept in the temple. This one was good, too, however. He didn't wait for his brothers as he drummed out an aggressive march. As he descended the mountain, more drums joined him, echoing out to their brothers down range. The first horn sounded. Some of his brothers rolled past him as he descended. And so the Goron came.
When he could feel the drums beneath his feet, he began to roll himself.
My Brother!
He would charge the gate himself! His blood told him to see his sworn brother! As he made his way to the head of the pack, he saw them begin to raise the drawbridge. That wouldn't stop him! He barreled through their front lines, stopping for nothing, as he launched himself off of the bridge guide, on the side. He spun his spikes through the chain and shattered it, causing the other chain on the bridge to overload and break, as well. With the bridge lowered permanently, he continued to charge toward the castle. He could hear the drums, even now. Why did they sound so forboding to him?
As he approached the castle, he saw something that shook him. He unfurled for a moment and turned to see... Impa, and little Zelda? Fleeing the castle? He went right back to rolling, ever more urgency behind him.
My Dear Brother!
~~~

Hilda lifted her head from her work. She heard something in the distance... Some kind of beat. Drums? The Goron's drums? She'd only heard them as a child, near the end of the last war... They didn't sound like this, then. All able hands were supposed to report to the checkpoint, so she left her work and went to report. She'd hitch a ride on somebody's wagon, on the way.

When she got there, things were chaos. She caught words like Gerudo, and Castle Town, and fire. None of that sat well, and nobody really seemed to know what to do. She could see the smoke from where she stood. After some hesitation, the young lady armed herself with a spear before leaving. The militia office had more of them, and they were cheaper to make, anyway. She kept the wrapping in the point, telling herself it was just a walking stick as she left. It'd be something she'd want anyway, for the mountain road to Castle Town.
Something had been amiss. Darunia knew as much when the sun had risen that morning. Sure, his people had just been freed from the tyranny of Dodongo, that was why he'd wanted to celebrate, and perhaps that was why he hadn't noticed anything sooner. The tremors in the earth this morning were so strange.

My Brother.

Tensing, Darunia rose to his feet from his meditation. In a moment of worry, he made his way to the top of his mountain, to look out over the land. The mountains of Hyrule, the territory of the Goron, would protect her from the threats that lay beyond.

But they could not protect from the threats already within. Castle Town was burning. And he cound see, there in the distance, the Gerudo mixed in with some lizalfoes. They were coming to fight. It didn't take Darunia long to know what to do. He had to rally any ready to fight, and buy the town any time he could.

My Brother.

The King. Why did he have such a bad feeling about the King...? No matter. They'd roll on Castle Town and put his worries to rest.

~~~
"My Liege! Castle Town burns!"
That wasn't the news he needed to hear today. After they'd only just rescued his daughter from the great Jabu Jabu, too. "We must support the royal family. There has been treachery afoot lately, scout out the situation." This wasn't any good. He'd have to keep his territory closed tight, or invite disaster.
The Zora guard saluted and marched off to relay orders. They would need to get in through the town's water ways, but that wouldn't be a problem.
~~~

She'd barely made it through the doorway to the warroom when she saw it.

The King's... Head.

There was no time to be shaken by disbelief. If this sight were true, then there was no time. Like a shadow, Impa disappeared into the castle. Would that there were two of her!
Take your time, my dude.
Take all the time you need, man. Hell, sleep on it. Have breakfast in the morning. Gotta follow the first rule, my dude: chill.
Relax, if you've gotta take some more time, that's fine. Make sure you've eaten recently and that you've been drinking enough water. Sleep is good, too. Take care of yourself and the rest will follow.

"Charmed." Trinity finally tore her eyes away from the waggling floof, focusing in on Nyssa's face. All that fluff made her really adorable, but she shouldn't stare. The girl had questions, and it would be rude to ignore her in favor of her cute fluffy fox tails. Or her fuzzy ears. Right, focus.

She wanted to be sure to join before she left, very sensible. "Well, if you want to join, I suppose the most important thing," Trinity reached up and undid a couple buttons so she could pull the left side of her shirt down, to show her mark, or enough of it, anyway, "would be to get one of th- ESE!"

It was a good thing she wasn't holding a drink. But she was holding the left half of her shirt. As the stool was kicked out from under her, her body reacted and she ended up pulling her shirt a little more open than she intended. She was expecting to hit the floor, but instead, find herself cradled in someone's arms. Markovis was in the kitchen, Neil had been sitting next to her, so who? "Ariel?" And here she was with her shirt open. Luckily, there were a number of big fluffy tails in her reach, so she latched onto one and hugged it to her chest. Wait a minute, the feeling of Mana following through this fluff, there was an underlying familiarity. It was Ariel? Ariel had tails now? She found herself nuzzling into the fur, her shirt forgotten.

It was a whirlwind and then she was outside, still in Ariel's arms. She'd made herself comfortable, nestled in and focused on the fluffy tails around her and the one she'd gathered up earlier. With the sunlight on her, she made and started to comb Ariel's fur - Ariel had fur now! Temporarily? - before a box was placed on her.

She blinked a few times as her mind changed gears, before taking the box in her hands and looking it over, "Machina Magic?" Help her build things? She remembered the guildmates she was supposed to be helping with their.. unique body situations. There were a lot of complicated things that would go into a body, and she needed practice. "Yes, having a hand for the more complex things would be good... But I'm not familiar with Machina Magic." It must have been in the case so that Ariel didn't interact with it accidentally. Trinity could feel the magic leaking through the creases... It always seemed like such a jarring experience for Ariel, whenever she got a new magic; she remembered that much from seeing it a few times. She'd leave it shut for now.

"I'll bring it back to my shop, we can open it when you come by later." Her hand found the comb she made earlier, going back to tending Ariel's fluffy tail. "Is there more you can tell me about the magic? It's, what, a construction type? Is it like... Make, but with machines? Hmm... Even if we made a body, I'll still need to be able to fit a soul into something... Probably a lacrima. And then there's the matter of the transfer..." She'd need to get her power back before she'd risk touching someone's soul, let alone trying to relocate it. She could always ask Jarvis about the appropriate lacrima...
