Hey, got a good start on my CS already. However, my friend who's helping me create my CS, doesn't think you'd allow half-demons or people with demonic blood.

Name: Alexander Knight
Gender: Male
Background: His Earthly life was boring; no girlfriend, dead-end job, lived in a small, run-down apartment. He had wild dreams and an overactive imagination and, outside his art, the only solace he ever found was in anime and manga which, in turn, filled his head with even crazier and more outlandish ideas. He had friends that came to visit every so often. His favorite visitor was the one who visited most often; a young woman he had gone to school with. He found himself starting to fall for her but died before he could confess. He saved her by pushing her out of the way of a speeding semi. His last words to her were "I love you." Then he began the strange reincarnation process.

Attribute: Finesse

Gift: Absorption: He can eat the heart or brain of his kills and gain one of their powers or abilities at 1/10 its user's strength. He also has a chance to learn a mage's spell. The higher the level of the kill, the stronger the power or ability is. Through this, he can also learn other languages. He can also eat items as nothing can harm him if eaten. However, poisons that are injected by either needle or blade will affect him as will all magics.

Weird Roleplay Ideas You're Afraid To Pitch?

Well, I've got a LOT of these. But I guess I'll focus on one.

I wanted to make a roleplay based off of a second American civil war in modern times, and the first roadblock I ran into, of course, was the fact that I wanted the catalyst to be an unpopular policy or president. Because duh. Problem is, you can't have a revolt start for either of those unless you plan to piss half of America off. Trump wins and a civil war happens? GM is a liberal nazi commie. Hillary wins and a civil war happens? GM is a filthy, sexist conservative who wants people to be killed by guns. Bernie wins and a civil war happens? GM is a tinfoil hat-wearing, ancap conspiracy theorist who hates the word "socialism" and will kill anyone who utters it.

Of course, I couldn't make a fictional president either. Because they'd have to have some policy to incite a revolt, which in my mind could be either strict gun laws, racist and xenophobic policies, or being socialist. And all of those have the same problems.

In the end, I decided that it would be easier to have the players be VICTIMS of the war, trying to survive in a bombed-out city so I could at least avoid forcing them into ideological roles. Specifically, the city would have been Durham NC, because I really like Durham NC. If you've ever played This War Of Mine, it would have been like that. Scavenging for materials, running into gangs and criminals, having to make tough decisions between a better chance at survival and clean hands.

But I couldn't manage to come up with a functioning plot, so I scrapped it.

A shame too, because I really love Durham.

The gunner looked around at the new posse of misfits who had also banded together. Outside of the cat girl there was now a tiny girl with an axe and a shield who looked as deadly as a kitten high on LSD and now a... demon midget? Aleph sighed as he took a good look at it and frown immensely; it looked like Satan had possessed a cartoon character. He would be lying if he said the thing was giving him the creeps, but if it could unnerve him then it could certain unnerve the armies coming toward them.

This day was only getting better and better.
