Sorry for my absence! A Volunteering position suddenly turned into a Volunteer Leadership position I was not expecting at all so things have been hectic.

Look at you posers, having to bang dragons or sell your soul for magic when you could just play a lute for some. Anyways, here's Wonderwall. - Bards

@wxps350Honestly I'm not all to comfortable with you having Beastmen in your ranks since the Goatmen you speak of would probably just be Ungors/Gors. At any rate, their loyalty should be questionable at best especially when other Beastmen are around.

Arrak's Warpblade is still honestly a bit questionable too.
Hmmm, I am ready to post. Just not sure of what to do since Dwarfs are more 'defense/reaction/' than "ATTACK ATTACK" unless someone has pissed them off.

Just write about how someone is attack one of their holds (beastmen are more than willing to help here). Or how they're reacting to all of the evil races suddenly becoming very active and unified all of a sudden and are getting their armies ready
@Bloodwake What? Why were you banned?

For acting like a complete idiot in chat, went off about how he was some sort of wolf persona and how he had the "heart of a wolf". Something about him having an actual soulmate with some female wolf spirit and going out to kill the female's pack since he was "the real alpha and no one else". Also went off about how only he had a soulmate and everyone else only has fake sweet hearts and got angry when people called BS on him and didn't believe his insanity.

I think he also tried to curse a few people to death or something with wolf spirits? I know he threatened me with something like that.
You know.. I got a Darth Vader comic. Called "Darth Vader: and the Ninth Assassin".

In the comic there was a cult of mutated warlocks that praised a stone gem at the center of their temple. Which erected this light of energy that soared straight into space and sliced several Star Destroyers in HALF.

Darth Vader and a couple Imperial Guards had to go figure out how to stop it.

but it took quite a few Destroyers before Vader vanquished the erratic cult.

I nominate something like this instead of a saboteur.

Why?

If we did this that would mean the ship would be cut in half in space meaning that certainly very, very few people would survive if any and I'm talking about .0001% chances of survival. Also how would they have managed to hit the entire escort while the ships were in hyperspace? Surely at least on escort ship would have survived to get something out.

The entire idea behind this just sounds plain stupid to anyone with a half functioning brain. Also, where the fuck are the rebels in all of this? Do we just end up fighting technomages instead of the rebels now?

Plot twist: The true reason for the schism was a heated dispute over who deserves the title of "Best Girl".

@Volenvradica-sama pls make this canon
@RyoRyoRyoken Bby I got you. Got a nice weeby idol song selected and everything.

inb4 the WaifuWolfpack becomes Kototo's fan club and the Brotherhood gets their own idol and this all becomes idol/fan club wars.
<Snipped quote by ClocktowerEchos>Um, you better read my post a second time then.
Maybe when you calmed down and have the peace of mind to not take a belligerent stance.
If people can't even speak to you that's a problem on any level. Be it a mere player or the game master.

...and now I probably added more fuel to your fires even though I wrote my previous post with the exact opposite intent.
Good going, willy.

When I said "not turning this into a bitchfest", I meant more towards me since lets just say that my patience isn't exactly sky high right now for either one of you two. Is its childish and immature? Certainly but calling it that doesn't change anything.
@Aristo@Willy Vereb Instead of turning this into an all out bitchfest and properly souring everyone's moods and cluttering up the OOC with this, how about the both of you just first put up a NS and add your own navy section under it. You gents seem to be passionate people, I'm sure you two can find some way of making your own bits for the NS can't you?

Also, on a completely unrelated note, ever heard the term that the GM has complete control over their RP at the end of the day?

Proceed as you wish.
<Snipped quote by ClocktowerEchos>WHFB has ships, even if that spinoff game is not that popular compared to mainstream.
Your claim that Warhammer setting having ships is disruptive is as weird as saying spaceships can't exist in W40k.

If others don't make warships that's fine. Unless you siege ports they are irrelevant in battles unless the enemy also has ships. Like everything we can just make do when it gets to that point.

Still, why is that you almost appear to get ulcer at the idea of people being creative? That's again a bad GM characteristic. I am very grateful that you allow my faction but it almost feels like I have to fight you every time when I come up with something. Why? There's little rhyme or reason to your action here.

The main reason why I'm saying no to ships is that I'd rather not create extra work for people who actually have completed or semi-completed NSs. If you couldn't tell, Total War Warhammer and the WFB Army Tabletop are the major inspirations behind this RP, not Man o War. In my eyes, having ships doesn't benefit the whole as right there are only two people in the entire RP of a dozen plus who really want it. Am I wrong for putting the needs of the many before the needs of the few? Even if there are others who wish to have ships they have yet to speak up so maybe I am wrong in the numbers but for now I am not. Its not that I'm against people being creative its that what you're pushing for isn't exactly whats consistent with most other people and their NS, needs of the many over that of the few and all.

Also, don't lecture me on how to be a "good GM", that's subjective and I already know I'm a fairly shit GM which is another reason why I'm honestly surprised this has gotten as far as it has. I'm trying to keep everything in order here and not have to extend the NS skeleton to add ships so you can have bathtub wars while everyone else has something else they have to fill out which they may not be interested in. I'm not going to pander to a few people's "creative freedom" while giving everyone else additional work. Am I doing something wrong here? No doubt I am doing something wrong in some people's eyes but again this is my RP at the end of the day. You have no obligation to be in it if you find my GMing style to be against your wishes.
@ClocktowerEchosI think it needs no separate methods to make profiles for ships. Tiers already seem relative to their class, IMO.
Just like warmachines you can probably just consider them rarer to their tier.

As for why would I need warships?
Because @Lauder can only reach me through the sea so naval battles would be the first way for us to clash.
It depends on what we agree on, of course.

If you want to fight the Orruks and don't want to go on land, then just write how one of you landed troops on each other's shores and ignore the naval combat bit. Would that really be that fucking hard to say that your troops managed to get across land or just not fight each other on the waters?

If you and @Aristo really want your damn ships then you can either convince everyone else they'll add something valuable to the RP and make your own formatting and criteria for me to judge them off or go make your own version of this RP where things don't follow WFB logic and have ships.

Am I clear?
