Sorry for my absence! A Volunteering position suddenly turned into a Volunteer Leadership position I was not expecting at all so things have been hectic.

Look at you posers, having to bang dragons or sell your soul for magic when you could just play a lute for some. Anyways, here's Wonderwall. - Bards

I would like to join this, assuming I have the time. If I do have time would anyone mind?

Bushido.

I am going to be completely honest, I expected Tracer to be gay so this wasn't that big of a shocker (honestly shouldn't be for anyone). Going to admit I thought it might end up being someone in the game already but that's probably since I've seen to much shippidty ship shipping.

I've got not problem with it since to me its just another part of Tracer's character. I remember I heard this in a Youtube video that its because people have known her for the better part of a year or two, people have gotten to know her other quirks like energy, cheerfulness, playfulness, etc. As such, being gay is just part of her instead of her most defining feature unlike if Blizzard released a new character who was gay.

People just need to chill the fuck out yo, Overwatch ain't going to become some tumblr TF2 knockoff and to me, the people who care about the sexual orientation of character are literally on the same damn coin wether they call it "social progress" or "SJW trash", don't make a difference in the end, just the two sides of the same coin. It comes down to: Do you care about a character's sexuality or do you not? Its not like Tracer being gay suddenly has any game play effects or changes to her voice lines.

But hey, at the end of the day, its just like Kermit the Frog: Ain't none of my business apparently.

I realized that this time you WEREN'T Space Japan and swooped in to take my place. And I always loved my warp drives that spew out giant plumes of radiation because there's something totally awesome about arriving in orbit with giant trails of light behind you so bright those on the ground can see them. That's totally worth giving up the entire possibility of stealth in any way.

And yeah, I do have a ridiculous number of species. All the better to have societal unrest with!

As for the giant streaks of radition, on a scale of 1 to Bushido, how honoabru are they?
@Keyguyperson Thank you, that's much easier to follow. I have no issues with anything presented in that sheet.

Anyone else?

@Keyguyperson The only thing that find any remote complaint with is the number of species in the empire and the incredibly dense amount of info on the original sheet but beyond that it seems good; quite like the warp travel thing tho

Also totally doesn't remind me of one of my own creation heh heh ^^;
@Icepick I'd say yes, you got like the approval of the four people currently accepted (including the GM), so yeah you should be good to go.
Every where I look it seems that people are always complaining how that their RPs never last long enough or how they died/ended too short for them. They might add some extra bells and whistles at the end and have some other words on the subject but in the end they just keep complaining about it and a few even just lead the site over it.

However, I never got that, for me the point of RPing is to enjoy it in the moment. Enjoy creating characters/nations, talking about histories, waiting for that reply post, forming collabs, etc. But at the end of it, if and RP dies I don't go like "This sucks. The RP should have lasted longer, this site is bullshit" but instead just accept it and move on since I enjoyed the time already in the RP, no matter if that time was 6 days or 6 months.

So yeah, am I the only one with this kind of thinking of not worrying about the long term life of an RP but just focusing on enjoying it for however long its going up without turning dour and sour if it dies?
This is the first time I saw what's basically a history race/lore contest; I must say its comparatively better than the usual fare and much more preferable

Seriously though, I think that there should be a note about how "old" a race can really be without and explanation as to why they're otherwise low tech for their age. Although the age of people already accepted shouldn't pose too much of an issue beyond history and historical connections tbh.

PS: We needa moar pplz a postin' yo.
PPS: Merry Christmas Eve motherfuckers c:
@Ezekial Wolffe Hmm... might actually do that, lemme think on it for a bit. Although the fact its holiday season might dampen things.
