It didn't work.

Yes, I am angry. I explained why j wasn't happy with the ability, and that it was the attack. I have made it clear, planning to several people when they joined that I will point out over powered attacks and why, and that like everything it will be a majority rules with the co-gms. It feels like Prince just deliberately chose not to understand or to make it seem like I am unreasonable.

It has nothing to do with what I am going through right now.

I am growing wearier of how I do things being questioned-that's why I have two Co-Gms and why I have a 2/3 ruling. So it is fair. But apparently 2/3 is not being fair anymore. Do I have to make it 3/3 for the decision to be reasonable?

I try and accomadate but sometimes that isn't going to happen. Even then I try and come up with a different way-but I'm not going to have a Op character just appear. It either has to be discussed with me, or there has to be some indication as to how they have come across this ability. It took me what, 7 months of roleplay time to have Sasha develop ice queen, after all.

So yes. I am angry, due to a series of events, all dealing with effectively the same elements. But that's not to be discussed here.


Hmm...this does seem like a bad case of de já vu, I seem to remember it being just like this with Nero and Ferrin. Albet, a little smaller scale. ( oh, and Time Lord and Ferrin. I was stupid back then XD)

He isn't trying OP, and to be fair, you were not presenting your argument well. Zarkun did his duties as Co-gm and picked up there. Thats alright. Thats what he is there for. I agree, but he is not making his character powerful (Lets dispence with OP. Too much bad usage there.) it's something conjured up in distress. I would agree, at first it was too much, but now, it has been changes, and makes more sence from my point of view.

Take a moment to unwind if you are angry amd stressed. Get off the internet and do something relaxing if its too much.

I wouldn't say "abrasive and tactless" your ideas are wonderfully thorough, and well thought out. You present them well, and honently, I'm not sure where the probelm is. Cut Caits some slack. She has seemed to been having RL issues. (Although that is no excuse)

However, don't just go, "I don't really care" becuase thats bogus. It's obvious that you DO care, and this is semi-important to your character, so you should care, and us too.
@Crimson RavenI know, that's why I'm having him eat pieces of his Meat puppet, to regain his energy. Nidhogg does not outwardly show his magical exhaustion, but it does effect him. He's fairly drained of magical energy, probably to a total of half his total stores I think would be fair, including the thing he's been growing underneath. Though, I probably should've wrote something down about that, as the thing most people know about him eating flesh is that it enables him to heal from injuries.


Err, I think then half. Based on, he has erected two powerful domes, laced with nerotic energy, then several undead, one that seems pretty strong, changed his own form more than a few times, and the most resent stuff.

Edit: totaly off topic, but now would his power react with a full-on necromancer?
I need to put something down, because we are falling apart here. Yes, another paragraph by me, but hear me out, and approach this with an open mind. If we continue like this, not only will we degrade the quality of this RP, we will most likely cause the whole this to fall apart.

First, I am sorry for getting frustrated earlier. I shouldn't have done that, and I might have made matters worse. I will not do it again.

In a situation like this, with so many people, and so many characters, it can be hard to keep track of everything, and getting your toes stepped on will happen. Sometimes, if it not really detimental, I suggest just rolling with it. If we keep arguing about who-done-what-shit, we are going to get nowhere, or even lose people. We need to have better communication before we post, and the part that most people, even I, forget, is that we are also making a story. Plot twists, and turn tables are expected and enjoyed. If that involes manipulating someone else's character, then ask permission first. I understand you might want to keep it a surprise, and in that case, take it up in PMs. Also, we need to remember here, that some characters are, to put it mildly, weaker than others. I ask, you guys, keep (I run the risk of being called a hypocrite here) your characters at their power, no explosions of magic, unless discussed before hand.

Basically, communicate. Communicate and read. Easier said then done, I know. But we can try our best.

I understand that you might be going through some trouble, but I ask that, as GM, you try to stay as reasonable as possible, else you risk having this whole thing fall apart. I understand that you are not perfect, and will make mistakes, and thats okay, just moments ago I did the same thing. But I ask you to keep your judgment clear on these matters, okay?

Let me have a little heart to heart here, because I have an inkling of what you are like. On top of that, I'm going to be blunt. So, rage at me afterward. Stop being so difficult. I know that you like your characters complex in magic and personality, and thats okay. My character is very similar, so I sympathize. But conform. I see that you did so with Dawn, and I applaud that, but it took nearly an entire OOC page to do so. I am asking you to relax, keep your ideas fluid and be prepared to change.

I want to broach this lightly without blowing the OP whistle, but Nidhogg had been throwing out some heavy-duty magic. It would be reasonable to say he would be exhausted by now. Just keep that in mind.

I will not apologize for this wall of text. I see a problem developing, and I am doing what I think I need to do to stop it. That includes changing myself. I might come across as patronizing, and I hope that is not the case.

I need to do most of all the things I have pointed out above, so don't think that I believe myself exempt from this. I have made plenty of mistakes, myself, and I am trying to help you guys not make the same mistakes
