Back when dinosaurs ruled the Earth, I got started with writing online on the Spore forums. Man, those were the days. We're talking like 12 years ago 2010-ish!

I've been here on and off for almost as long, and have GM'd a bunch of different things to varying success.

Word of my splendor:

Use the Welsh elven names from Runescape is what I'd do. King Iowerth is both impossible to pronounce and very elvy-looking, at least if you ask me.

Alternatively you could use Altmer names from the Elder Scrolls, as I've honestly been imagining your nation as the Aldmeri Dominion with airplanes and shiz. A land ruled by a bunch of uptight and racist high elves :P

And as for alliances, Tin has close ties with Ventium but KalMea is probably their more reliable ally. They're of course enemies with Avalia due to their history and the PRK due to to the spreading Communism thing.

@Voltus_Ventus

Like ten pages back when I asked what would happen you said you'd control Yamatai. So I figured we'd still have the island conflict between Yamatai and Tin, with Tin trying to drag their buddies into it and Yamatai just enjoying the fact that they don't even need buddies; half the world 'effing hates Tin and soukd be happy to help Yamatai.

But if you don't want to control Yamatai (which is understandable) we can have the PRK bring in weapons. I doubt it'd do much more than increase casualties and force Tin to send a bigger occupation force, but if Tin found out they'd go crazy.

Oh, and if you're looking for something early on to kickstart a huge conflict, I have another thing planned with somebody that will happen early on and cause a diplomatic and economic nightmare. It'll probably piss off at least three or four nations. I'll PM you the details.
Finally added Tin's history with Avalia. It's kind of lengthy and pretty thorough

@Hael

Thanks for the honest feedback. Lol, surprisingly Chugo is actually a Mongol name. Really my main inspiration for Tin was the Mongols (more specifically the Timurids and Mughals) as compared to Syrians or Arabs. All of the words and names that I've used so far have been Mongolian.

Granted I usually go with the shorter names like Chugo because the more distinctly Mongol names like Bey Mongkeemur or Bey Borjigidai would just get ridiculous.

I could go with Bey Chugo if I can't think of anything better. Maybe Bey Khulan or Bey Narin. Uhg, I'll sleep on this and hope that Morgan Freeman comes to me in my dreams with the answer.
So I have a rough idea for my first few main characters and I was going to throw them in the important figures section of my sheet. The issue is names. Names of characters are always something that I overthink.

What do you giys envision when you hear the name Bey Chugo? Bey is a title and technically it should follow Chugo's name, so it'd be Chugo Bey, but Bey Chugo sounds so much cooler I think. But anyways, does Bey Chugo make you envision a crafty little bastard? He's supposed to be pretty sly, so if Chugo doesn't sound like that sort of name I'll think of something else.
Ironically Tin itself isn't all that capitalist. More of a...plutocracy, I guess? The nobles/rich get richer while everyone else gets screwed over by the guilds. Tin by far the most feudal nation both politically and economically. Oh Tin, backwards when it comes to just about everything...
Yeah, KalMea is alright, but you are an informal George Washington textbook hater. Marxist.
@Skepic

Oh hey. Did you see the PM I sent earlier?

@Hael

What? We're giving you free oil. Voltus would kill us if he found out!
@Hael

You're going to be dumped on one of those little islands (with all the other Commies) when the Tinites douse it with their oceans of oil and casually light it on fire by flicking lit cigars out the window of their imported lamborghinis. Mafia style.

Afterwards they will drive off into the distance...off the island...over the ocean...driving all the way back to Tin...without even stopping for gas.

Well, to be fair, in a historical setting (which is usually very formal) the proper one would be KalIabis. Kaliabis is casual, and would be considered mildly inappropriate in a recount of history. Like calling George Washington "That dawg who totes set 'Murica free, yo" in a college textbook.

Not off the hook that easy

You wouldn't buy a history book about the dude that totes set us free? Get out here, you Commie! America doesn't like Commies. Better dead than red!
Tin has a lot more people in the Zanjir Islands that are native to the region, they just aren't listed in Tin's population. Mainly because they aren't considered citizens. It's not like they pay taxes or really produce things (Yet. They might end up being exploited almost as slaves). Perhaps if this RP goes on for long enough they'll eventually be assimilated.
Oh, yippee. Less work for me.
