My guess as to how the first raid will go:

>Torrens sees smoke coming from a forge somewhere in a village
>Immediately takes off for it, sucking all the heat out of the furnace outside then going into the blacksmith's hut
>Meanwhile everybody else is sacking the rest of the village
>It's been a long time since they saw Torrens go in and he hasn't come out, so they start to wonder if he's okay
>Tinkerhel walks in and says, "Hey, it's pretty hot in here!"
>She sees Torrens laying on top of a dozen sacks of burning coal, cackling wildly as he absorbs the heat. The blacksmith is cowering in the corner
>Torrens yells, "UNLIMITED POWER!"
>Entire forge and blacksmith's house goes up in a huge fiery explosion
>Emily sings I see Fire

I feel safe saying that you can join now. I just don't want upwards of 20 players, but right now with only 16 + 1 or 2 working on a sheet, it's looking like we can squeeze you in.

If you're still interested, I'll let you in now as well. Just make a sheet to plop in the OOC or PM to me, and once it gets approval you can put it in the character section.

Still not going to fully open this roleplay though, for fear of leaving the computer to make myself a sandwich and seeing that another 10 people popped in

The Overlord has imps (little demon servants) that help manage the dungeon. They also run a little tavern where you can eat mystery meat and drink grog so strong that it could kill an orc. Or you could just gamble your soul with Azavarn in there, I guess. *shrug*

All's good. Keep in mind that the Dungeon Keeper and his entire horde are current based in a dingy cave system, until they find some better real estate. As such, everybody's "rooms" probably aren't too grand.

In other news, I remembered some stuff that I should have put in the OP. I'll go expand and embellish it tomorrow. On that topic, I've never made a banner before. While we don't absolutely need one, if somebody gets bored and decides to make one for this RP it'd be cool of them

...and of course we're all oh so patiently and happily continuing to wait for those who haven't brought their character sheets over yet. *casually whistles as I see the first signs of a lynch mob beginning to form*

She's rather ambitious to want to be a Dungeon Keeper herself! Maybe the current master will help find her an anthill to lord over

People just keeps on doing more things to the humans. I'm going to have to move at warp speed to get caught up IC!

But in all seriousness, about how far am I behind timewise? As of my last post, humans still don't even speak yet. I'm of course going to do a time skip or two to where Ialu turns his group into a warband, founds a village, and then starts doing shenanigans with the Wi, but I'm not sure exactly how much time should pass before these events happen.

Story Line Development - 10/10 (nice to see him moving on, getting a group around him)

Character Development - 10/10 (very subtle, I like. His realisation that others fear him, that humans are to be ruled and guided, that he is different)

Independence - Excellent!
