Bio

Back when dinosaurs ruled the Earth, I got started with writing online on the Spore forums. Man, those were the days. We're talking like 12 years ago 2010-ish!

I've been here on and off for almost as long, and have GM'd a bunch of different things to varying success.

Wrong section.
Phew, I don't usually do posts that long, but you got to put your best foot forward.

Ahem, Lorelai and Durgan Take the Field of Battle! Enemies of the Hoard Beware!

Well, welcome to the RP and feel free to copy your sheet over into the characters section.

I like how of all the people she could have spoken to, she chose the rabbitman who's trying to hide from an insane, murderous, burning revenant of a shaman. Oh it's going to be great; with D'Artagne's cover blown I think Gormlag should come charging in
It doesn't have to be anything too fanciful. If you find yourself drawing a blank I could help you brainstorm, but usually I let newcomers come up with their own idea for how their character would join the Horde IC and then help them out accordingly.
@Lonewolf685

Consider your sheet accepted

Do you have an idea on how to introduce your character IC?
@Lonewolf685

The RP had ridiculous turnout of 20+ interested people in the initial check. Not all of them joined and those that did join started disappearingg, so now we just have something like 5 people. The RP is admittedly pretty slow these days, but it's still kicking.

Admittedly my current plan is to wrap this up in 2 or 3 months if possible so we can do a sequel RP and start over with a few changes to hopefully make it more successful that round. But don't let that discourage you because you could just use the same character again.

...and then they might actually start disappearing from Arcon. I mean, it's not like there's a plasma task force orbiting the planet.... nope!

It'd be a full time job to try to wage some war of extermination against elementals. Similar to mosquitos, they just keep appearing and there's no real way to stop it.

I leave it to you whether or not they appear on Arcon, since I'm not one to bludgeon my way into others' plots and I currently have no real plans to interact with Arcon in any case.
Well this looks like an interesting RP. Are you still accepting applications?
Going to take a while to get through ten months of IC posts, but I'll get crackin' in the mean time.

EDIT: *looks up at full title* Oh, well that's an egg on my face.

Yeah.

The IC isn't that huge for a RP that's been up so long. I'd be glad to have you join; just make a character sheet when you get the chance.

Elementals are literally everywhere on Galbar (probably more numerous than all other sentients, though their numbers are more or less fixed) and they simply spawn in the presence of magic, especially that of Astarte or Zephyrion.

They might actually start appearing on Arcon.
@Cyclone Did Faeles want to reply to Torrens, or shall I move on to his reaction to the dragon?

If it got to the weekend I'd have responded to Torrens, but as is i don't have time for a post. Go ahead without me; I don't want to keep you back.

This needs to be preserved for future use.

@Kho, You say the Solitary Mount is taller than any other peak on Galbar. Is that including Mount Bormahven (@Vec should write a bit more about it, since he discovered it), which is a staggering 20 kilometers tall and thus reaches into the stratosphere?

@Vec

Honestly I saw the huge numbers of that post and the mention of it supposedly having a better view than the Celestial Citadel (which is pretty much in space most of the time) and just dismissed it as exaggeration. If the mountain is actually that huge, it's pretty ridiculous and would have required Might or at least some special effort to create.

A mountain of that size wouldn't form happen naturally like the rest of the Ironhearts did when Teknall broke the tectonic plates and made them move together. For comparison, Mount Everest isn't even 9km tall.
