What happened before was just my usual trouble with the CS format combined with my need to rush out the house mid-way.

T H E S T O R Y S O F A R... ________________________________________________________________________________________ Young Robert Hogan grew up quite happily in Cleveland, getting up to mischief with his friends and starting to grow up to want to make things somewhat easier for his mother. But right after he turned 14, his mom died and his nearest living relative was Dr. Ichabod Crane of Gotham University. So he found himself shipped over to the strange city to an uncle that really didn't want to deal with a kid while he did his research. Robert though proved that he was worth keeping around by helping convince rich old ladies to give his uncle research money and so he stays, being allowed a fairly free-ranged life as long as he keeps raking in the dough for his uncle. The young Rob has no idea what his uncle is researching, just knows that it has something to do with psychology. But when it is revealed, what will he need to do? P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) ________________________________________________________________________________________ Colonel Robert Hogan from Hogan's Heroes has been a character that for a while now, I've felt would work great as a Robin especially given how he acts within the show. He comes up with a lot of elaborate schemes and devices yet also can't seem to not hesitate anytime he might need to kill someone face to face. Of course, usually my idea would be to put him in as a Robin between Dick and Jason, one that Dick actually willingly passed on the Robin mantle to only for Rob to decide to run away and volunteer to fight as a fighter pilot in WW2 after butting heads with Bruce about the issue. Of course, this roleplay isn't happening even that particular timeframe and doesn't even have Dick yet. But I could still explore some aspects of what I have in mind, such as the pre-Robin to Robin era of him. I'd imagine that I'd start with him getting into Gotham, getting use to life with his uncle while Scarecrow slowly becomes Scarecrow, and maybe gathering teen iterations of his crew among the other kids around him. (Don't worry. Only one, Newkirk, and his sister Mavis would be at all susceptible for adoption). Then Scarecrow would come into his own and reveal his true colors to Robert, Robert would try to go against him, end up with a fear toxin specially tailored for him as Crane doesn't want to lose his cash cow, then gets rescued by Batman and ends up adopted. Which would then be where he transitions into becoming Robin. Whoever ends up playing Batman, I would be willing to work with for the exact details. Main thing I plan is for Robert to be one Batfam member that actually likes galas and socializing.

My post sets up our first mini-event for Worlds Collide, which will be based in Marvel's favorite city

For those who want a read-ahead:

Brief Synopsis

Fire Trolls attack New York, coming out of the sea in pursuit of young Arthur Curry. Heroes of every level will be required to take on the threat posed by the Fire Trolls themselves, as well as the collateral damage they cause that endangers ordinary New Yorkers (fires, collapsing buildings, etc). And obviously Arthur's in the role of our damsel in distress.

The event will kick off with the next Middle School Monday (Oct. 20th).

Interested participants, just tag me to let me know if you'd like to participate so I can start to formulate a plan around the size of the group we have. I tagged Cyrania and MB because we've discussed this in the OOC previously, but its open to anyone.

Following on from this, I'd like to make a small announcement regarding Batman. I've been having a bit of trouble properly mapping out a story for him, and I'm finding him a bit harder to write than I previously expected. Also, in retrospect I do think I should have given everyone else the chance to play Bruce before claiming him for myself. To this end I have a second application below, abiding by the 24 hour window and if any part of it clashes with anyone else's plans for a story please let me know. I'd also like to open up any interest for playing Batman, with a retcon on anything I've written if anyone so chooses to. Otherwise I'm happy to keep writing him albeit at a slower rate while I focus on the story I have much more fully formed. Sorry for the uncertainty all, but without further ado please see my new app (without a header as of yet but we're working on that ) :

Do you think we could maybe add to our sheets, or somewhere a place with some of the side characters everyone is using?

I don't want to accidentally tread on anyone's toes - and it would also be good to see just from a crossover perspective.

That does seem like it would be a good idea.

We could split it up into villains and friendlies, with mentions of who they're mainly associated with and whether they're open for other people to play with or not or if they can only play with them mildly.

@Half PintQuestion for your input on Amanda Waller and Suicide Squad in this universe? Would that be a fitting addition, or not fitting for the theme you are rolling? (I'm open to hearing inputs from others as well)

Amanda Waller is currently an antagonist for both me and @Supermaxx, so we definitely have her in the game world.

As for Suicide Squad, I think it could work but we are sorta at the beginning of the the dawn of superheroes. Supers are around and becoming more common, but the heroes and villains aren't fully established yet. It would then be a bit odd to already have a team of reformed/imprisoned supervillians then.

Some sort of proto Project Cadmus though could be in the cards though. Or you could play off the ARGUS concept that @Supermaxx is playing off of for Punisher.

Am kinda surprised that this Loki went with the Destroyer Armor right off the bat. I would think he'd try to slowly study Thor first then decide on the best way to take him out, probably in a plan involving Amora.
