So as we're nearing 100 posts, I just wanted to ask you all...

Whose your favourite reimagining of a character?

Who's story hook has you tangled?

What's been your favourite moment?

Favorite reimaging has been @Bounce's take on Aquaman. I've been loving seeing Arthur as an average boy grapple with his powers and a royal destiny he didn't know about before and I look forward to where his story will go next.

2nd favorite has been Eel O'Brian. I do love a good Plastic Man.

The story hook that has me tangled...Well, I'm certainly excited for the stuff I'm cooking up for the future with J'onn and the rest of the Martians. But of others' storylines, there's so many...

Will @Roman's John Constantine actually save his sister? Will he really have his soul given to the demon in the process? What's going on the with the two Peter Parkers @Sep has set up? How are @King Kindred's Thor and Loki going to develop with Loki following Thor around as a cat? Will @King Kindred's Robin's Detective Club manage to not get themselves killed while Robin's off at Robinson Park? When are @Half Pint's Fantastic Four going to finally reunite and what is up with Alchemax? What the heck is up with @Lord Wraith's 'Kal-El' and where exactly is this all heading for the future? Is this version of Mercy a sister to the mysterious Cadmus Project's Hope and so is Mercy also a Cadmus Project experiment? And several others. I enjoy seeing everyone's new post as they come out and do my best to keep up.

My favorite moment was when Eel O'Brian saw the kid getting beat up, at first started to walk away, then decided to stop being a coward then went and saved the kid. That scene was incredible, well-paced and truly showed Eel deciding to turn a new leaf in life in a fantastic way that felt so perfect. And he's showed himself to continue to be a delight so I look forward to seeing more of his story.

...I'm going to refrain from the sex scene question. Wouldn't even be fair since the only real sex scenes have been two of Lord Wraith's posts so far (and seriously Ryan, what the heck are you doing?! Your ma and pa taught you better than that!) and a dream of Emma Frost's.

Honestly, some of the most memorable moments for me have been @Cyrania's Martians bantering their way across the American Midwest. It has been too long since we've heard from those guys. I need my silly Martian fix.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I'm up for this at the moment. Otherwise, I'd likely toss in an application for Professor Layton.

@Bounce@Cyrania One small note on your posts, i thought i made it clear and forgive me if i didnt, but Bailey isnt flying at the moment, primarily because he cant get the hang of it. So he's currently down on the street.

Normally, i'd have just rolled with it, but i do want to make it clear that he is struggling to consciously use his new powers.

“Bruh, can you–”

The boy’s words were cut off by an explosion triggered by the Fiery hero and Thor. J'onn swiftly sought to cover both boys with his cape before realizing what the source was.

“You spoke in everyone’s heads earlier, right?” The blonde haired boy said, picking back up where he’d left off with J'onn. “I kinda have this thing with things that live in the water, but I’ll need to be, like, way more out of my head than usual.”

Out of his head? Could the boy mean he can...?

"THEY'RE HERE FOR A GUY NAMED ARTHUR FROM ATLANTIS!!! MAYBE IF WE CAN FIND HIM WE CAN END THIS!" A new figure screamed from the street.

Arthur...The boy's mind reacted to that name.

“Can... can you help?”

J'onn bent down to look Arthur in the eyes, scooping up Garth as he did so and prepared to scoop up Arthur if need be. "I will help as I can. He then took Arthur's hand. "Imagine yourself without form or body. Calm your mind, imagining it as an oasis within the raging storm outside. Do not fear. I shall be your anchor, your surety that you shall return. As long as you are with me, you shall be safe. Once you take that step, I shall lead you to where you seek to go.

A shorter post than I'd intended, but I didn't want to hold us up.

I couldn't think of a good way for Arthur to both respond to Shazam and pose the question to Manhunter. @Cyrania, if you want, I imagine J'onn would figure out who "Arthur from Atlantis" is if you wanted to respond to Shazam.

When I submitted my sheet on the basis of 'I'm trying to re-discover my ability to write and enjoy this long-time hobby of mine, and I do not intend to collaborate or interact with other players/characters for at least the first entire arc of my story', I meant it. I've been very clear about my intentions with my participation, both to GMs and other players. If it's rubbed anyone the wrong way then I consider that a small price to pay for what has been, so far, a very successful foray back into a pastime I love dearly but have had steadily robbed from me for the past two-and-a-bit years and won't apologise for it.

Sorry. That was too mean-spirited of me to say.

You have been clear and I can understand your reasoning to an extent.

I'm also just getting back into role-playing on here and purposefully have sought to be as open to collaborating with others as possible as a way because a.) I've found that's the most fun with collaborative roleplaying for me and b.) when I've been the overly aloof one before, it dragged the game down and made the storyline a mess. Lord Wraith can testify to it since it was his Redwall rp I did that in.

I have been enjoying your posts though and I look forward to what comes next.
