Evaluation Observations:
Most find Saleh a competent and genuine doctor. He cares for his patients and treats all with a deep sense of kindness and respect. When first met people assume him to be soft-spoken or quiet but in reality he just likes to show a sense of respect by holding his tongue. Approachable and able to hold a conversation most interns and find him nurturing and fatherly as he is always willing to help lend a hand when needed. Saleh can be considered aloof too as his mind does sometime seem to be off in the clouds, but he is always thinking about a case or his patients because his work is his the number one thing in his life. Coming from a rich and wealthy background also sets a tone that Saleh was spoiled all throughout his entire life, which isn’t false, but he has done as much as he can to show that he is independent and that it’s not just because his family is wealthy that he got to where he is at. Doesn’t help that his father is a well-known Otolaryngologist and plastic surgeon.

Actual Personality:
The real Dr. Alnaeli is an extremely stubborn and hard-working man. He is always focused on whatever task is at hand and doesn’t like to bend the rules to get to the end, even if the outcome isn’t what he wants or wished for. He follows the path of right and tries his best to stay on the straight and narrow, but he knows that he cannot control the actions of others, he just has to do his best to control his own. A genuinely good doctor, man, and human being he follows his head in situations nine times out of ten, which sometimes makes him miss what is in front of him. He buries himself into his work always trying to prove to himself that he is a good doctor and that his parents should be proud of him. And that brings in another true nature of Saleh. He is extremely self-conscious when it comes to his family. They expect a lot out of him and expect him to be the greatest, but with high expectations comes a lot of insecurities and faults that he finds within himself. No one really sees this side of Saleh, but even though he seems calm and collected, he’s really just barely hanging on with his mental health.

History:
Saleh comes from a very well-off family. His father, Ari Alnaeli, was a doctor in India and his mother, Harpreet Kaur, a nurse, before moving to the United States to continue their careers. It was sometime after their successful careers that Saleh was born in the States and was molded to become one of the greatest doctors ever, but without a doubt, all that pressure tore him down mentally. Saleh was given high expectations by his father and he never reached them, always somehow falling short. The young Indian man made his way through college attending medical school at Duke University where he had also finished up his residency in General Surgery before landing a job in CMH.

He has only been there for a year or so, but he is doing his best to show his talents.

Off the Record

My Dreams

One goal in life would be to be made the Chief of Surgery, but also travel the world and maybe one day find his soulmate, but those are on the back burner. He wants to make his parents proud, and their happiness comes in the form of his accomplishments, so Saleh has to continually strive for more. Doesn’t help that he has to live in his father’s shadow.

Beyond the End of the World

"We've just got into town this morning," Micah said. He hesitated a moment thinking if it was okay or not to answer Chase's question. He knew Nev would have gave him his death eyes if he heard him just spilling the beans so nonchalantly and being so trusting of these strangers. But the young man couldn't help it. He saw light in the dark reality and wanted to hold that part for as long as he could. "We're just trying to survive. We were thinking of heading to the east coast, checking out the major cities in search of any survivors." He imagined going down south and trying to look for his parents, but he knew it wouldn't have mattered much. If his parents were alive, they wouldn't care, they'd be drinking away their problems like they usually did.

"Have you guys heard of any news from there?"

"Jump," Nev said. He looked at Zoe's face as it scanned the distance from their roof to the next and then back at the shed in the back of the shop. The shed looked like the wind could knock it down and it was probably in more need of repair than anything. Their best chances was to probably just jump across to the other building and hope the zombies don't notice and have the common sense to check the building beside the shop. The burly man took two steps back before lunging across the roof to the building next door.

He tumbled and rolled as his landing was less than graceful, but as that was how he could best describe himself it made sense. He wasn't the most elegant of men, but he was sturdy and dependable, and that worked. Thankfully the roof was flat and it had a door that lead back to the inside. He turned around, noticing zombie heads through the window they had come out of on the opposing window. If they were to jump across, would they make it too?

Nev didn't want to stay and find out though. Running to the door he tugged it open and waved to Zoe yet again. "You take the lead, I'll cover you." It made more sense in his head if she were to lead them into the house. She was lighter and would cause less noise as they creaked around, hopefully with no zombies or people in the house, things would be smooth sailing from here until they could meet up with the others again.
