@Bee I figured they all be just graduating high school and not in college yet. After that little fix-up, Elena should be good to go.

@Erklings25 the only thing that might cause a problem is the text color. Maybe a lighter shade? The Steel Blue is a bit close to the blue that is used for Sam. After that should be a-OK.

Also Erklings also brought up a good point. I'll find time to make a relationship chart of some kind. Hopefully I'll have some time later today.

Beyond the End of the World

Micah was surprised to see that the group had established a hideout of some kind within the city. He and Nev had only recently gotten there that morning and ran into trouble right away, which was something that wasn't uncommon anymore. He followed Elibelle as she lit a lantern and led the way as Chase was holding up the rear. His grip on his steel pole tightened as they entered. "This town isn't the safest, how long have you guys been here?"

The man watched Zoe in action as she had come up with a plan to slow their pursuers. It was a simple, junkyard plan but it worked as the firecrackers she used startled the group of men, them thinking it was multiple shots being fired at them. Nev chased after Zoe as she bolted away after the firecrackers went off. But with all the noise and commotion the two had drawn out another group of unwanted attention.

Zoe was a few feet in front of him when he noticed three zombies to their left, shooting two with his own gun. The gunshots rang throughout the air, with Nev knowing full well that the noise wasn't good. "Zoe!" Nev shouted. He turned to his right, which was a run-down shop of some kind, taking notice that it was two stories. He jangled the doorknob but had no luck, but like a reflex when something didn't open with a handle these days Nev just kicked it open. Raising his leg he struck the door with a forceful spartan kick, opening it. "Come on!"

He noticed more zombies were coming their way thanks to his loud gun, sighing at how careless he had become since befriending Micah. He waved at his new friend and signaled to the stairs within the building. "Upstairs, we need to get to the roof!"

Sam is super friendly and fairly open guy. He is a very happy-go-lucky person who just wants people to feel welcomed. He is known as a go-getter who is always wanting to experience as much as he can, but deep down Sam is more afraid of letting down his parents than anything. There are a lot times that it seems as if Sam has a plan of action, but most of the time, if not all of the time, he's actually just winging it as he goes.

One of the things that defines Sam though is his extreme stubbornness. Once he commits to something he usually sees it to the end, even if failure is the only option, because he believes that trying isn't really failing, failing is if you give up. That is a trait that he has to overcome though, as a lot of his actions can have dire consequences. He just hates the feeling of being and admitting he is wrong.

Samson was born and raised in California as his parents immigrated from South Korea to open a small Korean barbecue restaurant. Both his parents were professional chefs but dreamed and yearned for more. Competition in California was tough on his family and their restaurant and that's when his dad came up with the bright idea to move to the Midwest. Sam's family moved to Content when he was in the sixth grade and has been there ever since.

They opened the only Korean barbecue place in town and their restaurant managed to be received well and thrived in the Midwestern city. It took Sam some time to get accumulated to Content as the state of Ohio was nothing like the hustle and bustle of California. He kept to himself as the years went on but began coming out of his shell in high school. Sam began joining more clubs, most of them were for academic and resume building purposes, never joining any sports, but making sure his grades were up too. He learned quickly that in Content everything becomes a constant if you let it and nothing really interrupts that routine.

His family is happy and they live a happy life in Constant, but that doesn't change how Sam feels. He wants more than just small town kindness, he is looking for some fire to play with because he doesn't know the feeling of anything else.

Sam's parents want him to be a nurse, a doctor, or some kind of businessman but the young man honestly wants to take after his parents and become a professional chef, but in California where his parents had left. He believes that he can make it big there in the restaurant industry.

Sam has applied to three colleges, two in California (The Art Institute of California - Sacramento and the University of California, Berkeley) and Ohio State.

For his graduation his parents said they'd buy him one big thing since he graduated and was going to college and he never really asked for much growing up. He asked for a repurposed short bus and is using it to take a road trip out to California for the Lovely Sounds Music Festival.
