@Necroes If it would satisfy you I'll roll wity the normal stat block. I just thought it would be fun to change the goblin and I didn't consider that it would affect anything as I never accounted that you'd use toll the dead which I forgot that you would use.

.@Dark Cloud after modifying the stat line to make it more likely the creature would make the save. If you did that to anyone else, especially during a combat against the creature, they would be livid. And rightfully so.
No I understand that, but I didn't change it with the intentions to ensure the likelihood of the save. Don't argue I did because I didn't.

I didn't do anything to even the odds as that would have reflected negatively on my part, and the roll was simply how it went.

@Necroes I did let the dice decide, and as the DM I have the tools to modify monsters and NPC's to add flavor. I gave you the result as is of 15. I gave the goblin Wis save prof because to me it made sense, and if I had rolled less than your save I would have simply accepted it and moved on. So there was no fiat involved.
And I didn't even roll the stats for the goblin as I was making it quickly so I used the PhB standard array.
If I'm going to make an interesting non-player character, I usually give them stats in case a player interacts with them, so no buddy I was completely fair and no I didn't just decide to make it that way.
