I may reconsider playing Newt though, I feel like playing a slightly more humanoid character as for the nature of this RP. I have a character in mind whose a very archetypical narcissistic pipsqueak.

@Thinslayer Sorry for over analyzing your comment I think I may have misinterpreted your meaning. :l
Hell if it made more sense he'd be a native to the world we're in, I don't need to play a Protagonist or Antagonist if that's what your point is. I like playing side characters who don't have a huge impact on the world but have a significant role in their own small way.
@Thinslayer Newt is a quite interested in learning and reading, curious about discovering new things and showing how good he is as a magician. Now that he discovered magic is real here he decides to actually try to learn all about it while also making many friends along the way. I'm not sure what you mean for "Tailoring a story" because nobody needs to tailor something for my character. I'm interested in driving my own narrative of exploration and discovery, very much like an adventure story.
Newt was a magician in real life, like a hired magician for parties.
