As Clay thinks about the woman in question a predatory grin grows on his face.
"she was many things but none of them too unpleasant.
Maybe a bit picky or costly but I wouldn't say unpleasant."

He catches a glimpse of someone heading towards the basement.

"Alright short stuff, you go and see our new guest while I sort out the last order, and once everyone is seen to I'll help ya with your little game." Clay spoke to Tic in a way that it was more like an order than a question.

With a groan the battered and bruised Levi lifted his head, following the sound of sweet words.
A nasty split had opened his forehead, one eye was swollen and already showing blue. A large shard of glass still stuck protruding through his torn shirt in his left shoulder.
His eyes flutter as he moaned and wriggled in discomfort.
Eyes still blurry he reached out towards the voice. Three fingers and a thumb come to rest upon her face, the forth finger sat perpendicular to the rest having been dislocated in the crash.

"Where am I?" he slowly asks in a painful shaky daze, and as his vision gradually comes back he finds himself looking Adah right in the eyes. Levi instantly attempts a crooked charming smile, his cracked lips stained with blood.

"You must be heaven coz I'm beautiful in with angels..."

Levi's brows furrow as even he comes to realise that he hadn't made sense, he lets his head drop back down and lets out a deflated sigh that ends with a spluttering coughing fit.

Gaining a bit more awareness he continues to mumble "did I fall, off the wire 'gen'? Where's jimmy? What's going on?"

Then suddenly something clicks and he falls deathly still and silent, behind those wide open glazed eyes it's clear he is remembering.
Memories he'd rather not have.
Memories that are hard to process.
Memories that will haunt him for the rest of his life, no matter how short that may be.

"We have to get to the school"

Backstory:

Azerus doesn't know his true parents, he was abandoned as a tiny child on the doorstep of a small town church. The church saw fit to try and raise this child but due to the disturbances of his appearance and the rumours it raised they found more then enough reason to send him out of town to a strict, labour intensive orphanage before his presence hindered their reputation.
Even here amongst the cruel punishing work and long draining hours of slavery did the young Azerus still manage to create a ruckus. He developed a strong hate for authority and wouldn't let the other children or adults bully him.
It was harsh times, many skipped meals and beatings, but they couldn't break his spirit.
All alone he began speaking to invisible voices and imagining little pets, little did he know then that he was on the brink of summoning.

There were no question's when one day an offer was put on the boys head. Glad to rid themselves of him Azerus was sold off cheaply without concern.
It turned out to be to a small devil worshiping cult, due to his horns they decided they wanted his blood.
Azerus was kept alive as a prisoner, as a blood bag.
From his dark dirty cell he watched over and listened to their many rituals and spells.
There was not a lot of magic or power between the lot of them, their pronunciations were poor and motions lacking. Azerus's voices told him this. He almost felt sorry for the cultist's. Each driven to darkness by sever desperation, lost loved ones, vengeance, hate, sorrow, pity. He overheard glimpses of each of their plights and could almost understand the drastic measures of the otherwise helpless.

During one of the many occasions were Azerus found himself teetering on the edge of consciousness after being bled, when the halls of the underground cavern were dimly lit by the dancing flame of flickering candles, Azerus sung along to their song, he repeated the foreign words but in the way the voices told him to.

Then he passed out to the screams that followed...
When he awoke his cell door was torn open and bloody bodies filled the halls. Azerus didn't stick around, he fled!
He ran as far and fast as he could.
The next few years were difficult, finding food and work as a begger and theif. Azerus travelled around, avoiding overstaying his welcome, when he herd of the grand mission.
Azerus had seen first hand the greed of power and it's consequences but that didn't change his reasoning to peruse the sword.

Some people see their home world, others a thick obscuring mist.
Most the time it's a dirt trodden path cutting through a small clearing surrounded by forest. (Default medieval fantasy setting)

Normally the surrounding forest acts like a magic maze.
But it's entirely up to you what happens when you look outside, maybe it's the black nothingness of a void or you see large tree-like roots extending out from the doorstep to many different portals which shine like stars as the tavern floats amongst the the nothingness abyss.

Summoner's Academy

'You could have hurt someone' the words were truth and stung Avarius.
But like his lungs they only held pain if he gave it focus, right now he would admit to neither.

He rolls his shoulder as he begins to speak.
"Shoulders still a bit sore, you know, from when your golem attacked me. Had to find a different point to expel from. I got it this time, the release point is my lips not my lungs." he winces with an awkward smug smile.
"It's not like I'm throwing fire or lightning, I just didn't expect it to release on contact with the air in my lungs."

Despite his words Avarius sat submissively defeated, with that air so too went his energy. He wasn't used to this environment or being surrounded by so many people. He didn't want to hurt anyone nor did he want to leave yet. Drained, sore and exhausted Avarius fell in line. (For now)

Levi tried his best to settle the young child during the crazy reckless ride, to no avail. He wanted to diffuse some of the tension between him and Kat with some banter or poor humour but decided against it.
'Kat', he remembered her name, she was a croupier he fancied back in Vegas. He couldn't forget those eyes, or that trip.

He watched her run off and wished her all the best. He cringed as she fought of the odd zombie. Hopefully the people she was meeting were good people. Levi hated school anyway, never did enjoy being there.

He starts up the car just as a zombie crashes against his windscreen startling him half to death. "Oh Shit!" he gasps as he throws the car in reverse and spins it around. The zombie flung off the bonnet and tumbled across the road, Levi sighs with relief and drives off.

Levi was barely one block away when he narrowly avoided a head on car collision. He nearly died, this was life now. Levi had to harden up and quick. Drawing on his rage he decides to force himself to copy Kat and run down a bloody zombie.

'SPLAT!' He just hit someone...
Blood covered and staggering or not Levi just run down a human being.
He was processing this new feeling, it was something he had to get used to.
He lined up another one in the middle of the street, fingers gripped tightly around the steering wheel.
The revs grew louder.
The car sped up.
Chaos flashed by outside.
The zombie stood and turned to look at her oncoming death.
Startled scared human eyes bore into Levi's.

He veered left suddenly and sharply, momentum threw his body hard to the side, a solid wall appeared before him. The car came to a loud crashing and grinding screeching halt of shattering glass and falling bricks as smoke and dust filled the air.

Levi only saw black as a plume of smoke stretched into the sky signalling the location of his loud crash. Fuel leaked from the wreckage as zombies slowly shuffled near. Levi remained still and unconscious.
