@HeroicSociopath

As for the limit cap I'm already working on a new character to carry an extension of this group.

Love bomb will have two ships and two parties.
I was thinking the adventurous explorers on board the Penumbra, and the more mean and serious mercenaries on the new ship.

The love bomb scout party.
The love bomb combat party.

That's not to say that scout team doesn't engage in combat or that the combat team doesn't occasionally fluff around.

The Assets will be basically the same and the team will be encouraged to swap from ship to ship on occasions and dependant on missions.

What's your thoughts on this?
Any other ideas how to split the ships and still wear the love bomb flag?

Vivian

Greenhaven

"Rest sounds good." Vivian replied with a sigh "It's up to you guys if you want to use my tent or head to a more comfy bed at the poke'center. We'll be alright, we have been resting in shifts." She innocently lied.

"ahh" she squeals excitedly.
"I'm just so glad you you are here!"

Over the duration of the warm drink Vivian proceeds to explain what she has been up to and introduces each of her new Pokemon until a sudden and abrupt nearby explosion violently shook her tent. Small rocks littered down tearing through the fabric while a cloud of dust surrounded them.

Azerus Jr

Greenhaven

Having since woken up, with the poke'ball transfer machine fixed and nothing else to do, Azerus begged the mechanic for a re-match. Eventually he got his way and Metang came out onto the field once again.
Only this time it was not an out right battle but a training exercise for both parties.
The mechanic did want his metang to evolve someday soon.

First up was the new machop. While his physical attacks were quite ineffective, he truly proved to have a fighting spirit. The little guy wouldn't give up. Metang purely worked on his defence while machop threw attack after attack.
AJ even eventually grew tired of his antics and tried to return him unsuccessfully. It was the damaged pokeball. It wouldn't return him.
Eventually Metang ended it with a single strike by clubbing machop in the head.

Next up was a rested and prepared Rhyhorn. Eager to prove himself Rhyhorn fought fiercely. The mechanic proved to be knowledgeable helping Azerus teach Ryhorn Bulldoze and Drill run.

With the new moves equipped it dawned on Azerus that they no longer had to wait for a rescue.
After a short trip back down the tunnel they stood at the collapsed entrance under the guiding light of Metang.

There was a roar, then the ground shook under the thundering heavy steps, suddenly a large blast of rocks, dirt, sand and debris exploded out from the cavern entrance all over Vivian's tent where the girls and Pokemon all sat cheerfully talking.

@Styxx Acheron If you choose to assist Anya to the bar we will be walking into @Ashevelendar's scene and the power will return.

@SIGINT I'm obviously thinking the lighting was your doing but it's entirely up to you. Could have just been a crazy coincidence...
or perhaps you were watching through the security cameras.
I just don't want to be forcing you into making your character do things :/

Perhaps we can keep the Comms open and eventually join the two groups. :)
@Dark LightI mean I don't know if a old rusted T-800 endoskeleton that has been reprogrammed poorly would work for this

Hmmm, I do like the concept of a rusted skeleton robot though...
We have a few crazy cats but no robots yet...
please find a way to make it work

You could even come from a scrap pile that one of the crew manages to kick start. We got a few mechanically minded members.
Anya was just regaining her vision and gathering her thoughts at the same time as a small squad of troops neared the second level parking. It was at that precise and exact moment, not a second to soon, all the power in the building went out. A sudden and instant darkness swept the building. As the mercenaries looked to building there were no signs of activity or escape. "Clever girl." Anya softly whispered.

Back inside the now dark room Anya went to sit up and instantly let out a muffled hiss of pain through gritted teeth as soon as she put weight on her right arm."Holy fherg... that smarts." She whispers with an awkward smile.
"Ah god, it's dislocated. Damn!" Although highly frustrated and in pain Anya managed to keep her voice down.

"Well you gonna introduce yourself or not?" Anya asked speaking to the darkness. "I mean I did just leap through your window and ended up in your bed so how about we just stick to that pace and skip all the awkward dating and romance stuff and hop straight into the friend zone area where you lend me a Friggin car or Atleast help me get the Hell out of here before I scream to God and those Damn Mother fuckers in the parking lot out there turn this Shitty little room into a bullet piñata. Yea a piñata filled with bullets instead of candy!"
After her long breathless angry impatient rant Anya had to pause and breath. Sweat trickled down her forehead as she shivered in pain.

With a soft sigh she spoke again, much more gentler this time.
"There's a bar downstairs right? Take me there. Oh and bring my suitcase."

Anya wasn't in her politest mood. With her current injuries, even though it was a second nature for her, she just didn't have the time or energy for seduction tactics. Hopefully just hopefully, this guy would see her as a damsel in distress and help get her to where she needed to go. And she normally had such good manners.

At this point Anya wasn't sure if her headpiece was still connected or even working at all. Maybe Signit had heard her rant, maybe/hopefully not. She just had to wait for Signit to speak. Meanwhile hoping she was still alright.
@Blueflame
Expanding Horizons has a pretty strict character layout.
I'm sure you could tweak it to fit though.
@Blueflame
Do you have a pre-existing character or would you be making a new one?
@Styxx Acheron that's your que. You heard a noise outside the cheap apartment you were staying at, went to open the window and have a look, just as you got there an object launched themself right at you, with your quick reflexes you managed to open the window and get out the way.
Now you have a strange girl on your floor.
"Holy Shit..." Anya cursed in disbelief as the large steel roller door began to lift. Of corse she had asked for this to happen but a part of her remained in doubt, that was up until now.

"Fuck!" She cursed again, this time at herself for moving too slow. The door had began to close already. Then it stopped and raised again.
The footsteps grew nearer and faster undoubtably in response to her not-so-quiet cursing. Wasting no more time Anya dropped her case and pushed it across the floor with a firm fast kick before sliding under the small gap herself with the skill and finesse of a well trained acrobat.

"Shut it! Quick!" Anya demanded standing up and spinning around just as two operatives crashed into the grating from the other side.
Anya recalled they were quite well armed so she didn't hang around or take any chances.

She had wanted a car but unfortunately no one was working overtime tonight in this particular office building. Her shoes slapped loudly across the concrete floor, echoing off the nearby walls with every step. She raced throughout the open small space, closely watched by security cameras tracking her every move.

The bottom level seemed to be fully enclosed. There was no obvious escape from here. Still lugging her suitcase Anya sprinted towards the second level ramp. She was hit by disappointment as a solid wall filled her immediate vision with a possible elevator entrance and another solid security gate. Anya was about call for help when she noticed the thick solid chain binding it shut.

Unable to go forward she looks back. This level had a small opening above the ledge that looked out over the alley way. Directly opposite the alley and in a perfect line of sight from where Anya stood was a four by four foot closed window. From recollection Anya knew the alley way couldn't have been any more than 15ft in width. Or so she hoped.

"Hey babe, how's things on your side? I might be a little while. Gotta stretch my wings a bit." She thought she was being cute but truthfully she grew nervous.

On the floor below her a loud bang was followed by the thundering echo of rapid heavy steps. Still hot on her trail Anya ran. Sprinting as fast as she could she had to time her steps carefully. She only had one chance to get her foot placed perfectly on that ledge.

Bringing up her suitcase like a shield Anya took her first leap. Pushing off her left leg she had to raise her right thigh up high as to land her foot up on the ledge.
Stubbing her toes on the very corner she made it up, but her poor footing had twisted her. Unable to do anything but follow her momentum she continued the jump. Instead of face on she hurtled herself in an almost shoulder-barge position while clinging the suitcase tightly to her chest and awaiting the horrid crash of splintering sharp glass.

...

It never came. Instead there was a heavy thud as she hit the ground hard, landing awkwardly on her shoulder before proceeded to slide right into a nearby wall smashing her head. With blurry dazed vision Anya looked back to the unbroken open window that held the silhouette of a man beside it.

At least her getaway was silent, but what had she got herself into now.

Aiden Shaw

Location: Lady Lucks

From the reaction of the crowd he knew it was bad. Fearing to look he covered his eyes with his hand then slowly peeked through his fingers. "God damn!" He suddenly burst out with a disappointed groan as he slapped the table. Followed by a chuckle Aiden quickly regained his composure.
"Oh well" he sighed. With a shrug he explained "If you don't try you will never know."
Now back at square one Aiden finished his drink, thanked everyone around the table, threw out a few friendly nods and handshakes, got his cigaret lit and headed outside to clear his head. Of course not before cheekily grabbing and squeezing the girls behinds and giving them a firm yet playful slap as he said his farewell.

"Stay out of trouble you two." he said with a sly taunting smile, pointing at them as he backed away.
He knew who they were from the start so it was no surprise or burden when they almost immediately bounced to the next high-roller.
"Oh shit." In the commotion of his loss Aiden almost forgot about his rucksack. Darting back to the table he picked it up, only a moment ago a hero of the table now a poor simple stranger, already forgotten he quickly moved on.

The cigaret in his lips was burned halfway through, a fresh beer rested tightly in his hand. His back pressed against the cold solid wall of outside as he leaned lazily against it with his foot raised. His rucksack was once again at his feet but this time the cord was coiled around his free hand.

The open fresh air felt good. His head felt strangely murky. Once again he wasn't alone. He joined a small group of guys loitering outside for various reasons. Broke, drunk, waiting for someone, hiding from someone. There were a few small laughs as each told their recent stories. Aiden embellished a little on his own as he was sure the others did too.

He told how he came through on an exciting game of cards to clean out a smug old rich bastard. How when he lost the old man abused the floozies at his side and Aiden being the honourable man decked his personal security guard and took the ladies. But as with everyone's story outside it was Lady Lucks who won in the end.

As if to prove a point Aiden wiped off the residue lipstick from his lips using the hand baring his bruised knuckles.
