History: An old military veteran. He was trained intensely for a war that never happened. After that he discovered just how little the civilians appreciated his practise and sacrifice. After many struggles he took his skills and started a small mercenary guild where he and his company would do what ever was necessary for some money. As time passed and complications grew he gave that all up. He took on the simple unadventurous life as a mechanic before deciding he needed one last final hit of excitement.

Personality: A tired man who has lived his life with all the hardships and honours it offers. He believes in enjoying every moment as it could be your last. For this he has little possessions and a strong taste for the finer things. He cares little of what others think and has very little time for bullshit or deception. He is an straightforward simple man with a caring heart and playful laid back attitude.

Name: Captain Howell Carver

Bio: Growing up in the colonies he was a talented mechanic from a long line of proud Navel men. Learning to fly at a young age he became an ace pilot during the colonial war, however Howie Carver was fighting on the wrong side. The losing side.
For six long years he fought fiercely for the colonial republic against the empire. He believed in what he fought for, thought it was the right thing. He learnt the hard way that there's no justice in this universe except only that which you make for yourself. The war was unsustainable, lives and resources became scarce for the republic while the empires wealth seemed endless and their reach near limitless.

Like many others he eventually gave up, salvaged what he could and slipped away into the darkness of the edge of space. Regrouping with friends, family and other survivors.
The next 10 years were hard, barely scraping by, living in hiding and on the run. Howie's natural skills as a mechanic, pilot and leader were put to good use as he helped move goods and people about. Smuggled them into or out of planets. Salvaged wrecks. Tracked down those lost at war and reunited families, or at least gave closure.

He built grateful contacts from both sides of the war and found a new focus and reason to fight upon the discovery of the insectoids.
But by the time he gathered a team, got the permission, acquired the resources and was given the OK, it was already over.

Now with one of the earliest incarnations of the modern mercenary factions, his specially acquired team was quickly snatched up into the chaotic corporate wars. Things got bloody and messy, money is a powerful motivator that led to backstabbing and betrayal.

Even though nearly dying and being out of the game for quite some time while recovering and adapting to his new cybernetics, flying was all he had and all he had known. He quickly put together a new team and eagerly joined in under the newly forming, much approved, Mercenary Federation.

He is an old man that has played a part throughout much of modern mercenary history. He is known by many and a strong believer and bastion of the republic. Despite his age he is still one hell of a pilot with an invaluable wealth of knowledge based on personal hardships and experience.

Specialty: Ship to ship / stealth.
Bio: Carver believed in quality over quantity and built his team from the best of the best that were available after the end of the colonial war. A special op's team. Their reputation only grew as their corporate achievements amassed. Their wealth became blatantly visible along side their companies 'unusual' success.
Having reached the top of their game it was no surprise that they had to fall. A large target was stained on Carvers back and he lost it all.

A humbler and wiser man, still addicted to the game, he started again from the ground up. With the support of the Mercenary Federation behind him he continued on vowing not to make the same mistakes again.

Honestly, if it's a strictly physical buff I'm sure you'll be fine. But consider a few weaknesses. Like a weakness to extreme heat, or cold. Something that can cause your body symbiote to retreat. Also, consider explaining how the symbiote works a bit more. At the moment your characters backstory and what not is very bare bones.

I'm liking the idea of extreme cold hindering it as it will probably exist primarily in a liquid state (it's natural form) but I'm not going to put too much more effort into it as he's getting a lot of criticism, especially for a sandbox.
We could of had a really fun rivalry too. I could set of your arc and you could answer a lot of questions my character had. I was just really looking forward to the scenes were he was expected to do something super hero-ish like kicking open a door or leaping from roof but without pressure, danger or urgency he performs hopelessly.

Hi Delta, how's things? I see you around all the time but can never recall what games from? Maybe it's just all the applications I get rejected from :/
I would be classmates but I'm still effectively stuck in the too OP space.
And I don't know how much I'm willing to argue for my own weakness and character development opportunities.
I mean if something I imagined and created doesn't work the way I say I imagined and created it to, well I seem to have lost control of my own intentions and there's nothing left for me to argue.

His power is,
this creature temporarily mutates his physicality into an alternate form capable of handling the situation. It can stretch and grow, increase his durability, speed or strength and even form into mundane weapons and items.

As stated, That's his power! It's not limitless strength, flying, telekinesis complete immunity or magic rays. It's a simple physical buff. And one that isn't always active and he can't even pick or choose when it activates.
It's a bit of Blue beatle without flight and lazers.
Venom without the webs.
Not even as strong or as durable as colossus when at its best.

Gee ppl, regardless of the power I know how to play a non OP character.

But yea long rant short. I just need a simple yes or no. (And I think I got a no.)

Clayton turns from the fridge with a large smile on his face, in one hand between his fingers he balanced a bottle of wine and two serving glasses while in the other his fingers cling to the necks of various single serving shots of liquor.
He balances his two hands weighing up his options.

He casually strolls up to where she sat on the bed and while standing he places himself between her knees. The outside of his legs pushing against the inside of hers. He hovers over her, savouring the moment, dragging it out, toying with her.

Bringing the wine bottle to his mouth he bites into the cork and pops the lid. Ignoring the glasses he takes a small sip. Satisfied he holds it out towards Cerise. Should she reach for it he will playful pull it back and shake his head. Waiting for her to allow him to pour it into her mouth...

And he did. But he didn't stop there. He filled up her mouth until it spilled out and continued to pour it over the rest of her body. He kissed her lips deeply tasting the wine and then he continued to follow the liquid as it rolled slowly all over her body. He only stopped to share the small whiskey shooters from his spare hand and laugh at the soaking sheets of the bed.

As soon as the bottle was empty he leans over her and effortlessly scoops her up off the bed. In his arms he continues to ravage her as he carries her to the shower. Slapping the taps, the room quickly fills with hot steam, fogging the mirrors and hanging heavily in the air. It was deep, dense and suffocating. Just as were they.

Clayton had come to some conclusions during their affair. The 'complication' of her marriage. The way she spoke of both 'business and pleasure'. How upfront and eager she was. How quick it had all happened. How 'skilled' she was.
Clayton decided to disappear before she could charge him and snuck out as soon as she turned her back. Well... Maybe not the first time but eventually.

Now as he sat on a plane bound for California he stared out the window and thought of her. He sipped his whisky and cola while daydreaming of those past events. A smug smile glued to his lips.
