Alright, let’s move on without him.
We will assume he was a good little bot, making the tavern safe and assisting to get the injured onto a bed.
@ineffable last scene is over.
There was an attack on the tavern but it’s gone now.

Tavern is a bit of a mess, bullet holes and debris.

If you like you can either wait a post or two and things will be back to normal or you can come across the current scene.

An exploded wreck of an aircraft in the field. Sal laying in the dirt not too far away. An injured ‘naked’ Clayton carrying two women (one a slime creature) towards the tavern that has smoke rising from it and a small fire starting within.
As far as the enemies, they all conveniently melt/decay away. Can mention or ignore that one.

Glad to see you back! ;)
I’m thinking after @Blueflame‘s post, all the unconscious could wake up in a one of the taverns beds. Wounds very basically addressed.
As Zx slipped off the wolf’s body, Clay’s transformation reverted. Without the thick layer of fur the rough muscular bartenders injuries were far more prominent.
Naked bloodied and bruised, he lay scattered and dazed on the floor. Everything ached and the world continued to spin as he tried to get up.

His first attempt was an instant fail, his damaged leg sending an excruciating pain through his body as soon as it bore any weight. He toppled back to the floor near unconscious.

He looked to Evelyn and Xz beside him, they seemed badly injured but alive and safe. Next his gaze went from the newcomer laying near the air craft wreck to the smoke rising from the tavern. Ignoring the newcomer Clay’s worries instead went to the tavern.
‘Oh shit! C’mon K12, fight that fire.’ He prayed to himself.

The mouthful of acid that the wolf had picked up continued to try and dissolve Clay. While only a small amount it remained persistent and corrosive. It was slow acting and consumed all his healing ability, but still, in his current state, it seemed to be ever so slowly progressing, and preventing any of his other injuries from recovering.

Still, putting all pain aside, Clay dragged himself up with a loud groan, sweat dripping from his forehead and down his damaged body, he scooped up both of the females under each arm. Then with slow staggered steps he carried them as he made his way towards the tavern. He wanted to say something reassuring but he couldn’t speak through the pain and injuries. So he just carried on hopefully towards help and safety.
Lol, Looks like everyone is a bit battered and bruised at the moment. (Understatement) I’ll try get a post up in the next few hours. ;)
@Dark Light

So that's why they're all melting and exploding? *raises eyebrow*

Weapons exploding, people melting.
Can’t be leaving anything behind.

It’s the new single purpose disposable army.
Alright, I’ll try steer away from big posts like that moving forward and go back to a more sandbox setting.

Evelyn... what have you gone and brought to this poor little tavern!?
@BoyMom69035

“Bet you think your soo bloody special don’t you? Think ya got lucky coz this rag tag lil bunch of freaks was here to save you?
...Babe, you aren’t safe yet, and your by far the unluckiest girl in all existence right now.”

Her voice was cold and unkind. As she as she continues to tinker with the restraint, taking no effort to be gentle, she leans in bringing her lush lips dangerously to close to Evelyn’s ear and whispers in a sultry spiteful whisper. ”You know I could just detonate this right here and now, blow both your arms off. You might live, you might die. Maybe that big pup will eat you afterwards. Either way it would be fucking unpleasant.”

Then with a ‘click’ the heavy restraint falls to the floor.

”You haven’t won anything, all this,”
She spreads her arms wide and flaunts over the dead soldiers and remaining carnage.

”This wasn’t even an inconvenience to us. It’s nothing, so don’t feel proud. None of them were truly alive, just merely resources of witch we have an unlimited supply. You can’t fight against that.
We are happy how this went, and it’s only the beginning. I’ll be seeing ya again real soon.”

She turns her head to face Sal and gives him a flirty smile and wink. As she closes her eye a gooey liquid begins to run from it, leaving a faintly sizzling streak running down her face. Next the same substance begins pouring from her mouth, you can also see it dripping down from her fingers. There’s a wisp of smoke coming from her skin and the clear tinge of acidity in the air.

The woman wipes the substance away from her mouth only for it to almost instantly reappear. She does not seem to be in shock or panic but clearly some form of discomfort. She looks straight ahead and mumbles something intangible. The liquid now running much faster. Holes open in her face where it bibles and oozes out. Most likely the same is happening everywhere beneath her clothes. Raising a boney melted half hand she gives a little haunting wave before crumpling to the floor, where the acidic decomposing process continues.

Small wisps of smoke, a faint hissing and a putrid smell begins escaping from all the corpses left laying around.

The giant wolf suddenly lets out a fierce and short alarming howl of pain. It’s head begins frantically thrashing back and forth. It drags its snout across the floor, tongue out, blistering up. A faint sizzling smoke escaping its own mouth. Xz can feel it’s pain and panic. It overrides any calming she was previously giving it.

Then if that wasn’t enough, a short somber moment later the aircraft exploded with a powerful force, rumbling the earth and sending out a shock wave as a giant plume of fire and smoke rose into the air.

The bodies melted and the equipment was exploding. The unwise wolf made its second mistake. It found itself standing beside a corpse, on its gun.
It went off like popcorn in the microwave. So many bangs running through the field and echoing in the tavern. It sounded like a firework festival.

They were not monsterous explosions but still in close proximity they were dangerous. As Clay and the wolf soon found out. The wolf’s rear left leg was nearly blown off, if it was’t for his super natural fortitude and Zx, it would have been scattered into a million pieces.

The drones all self destructed too, adding to racket. Nothing was left for easy salvage. Each exploding weapon threw a spray of corpse acid into the air. The tavern would truly require a great deal of repair after this.
And just to make things worse, a small fire had started within the building.
Sal had somehow missed one...
They walked right by him. Hidden from all his senses. A soft ‘thwoop’ ended with a fair ‘squelch’. The hostage taker crumpled to the floor. A silenced pistol Was dropped and discarded to the floor.

From the wrecked aircraft a lone soldier walked. Ignorant to the chaos and death surrounding them. Stepping over corpses and debris like they were nothing. This soldier, while armoured similarly, was not like the others. They did not walk or look quite like the others. A slender, slimmer figure with wide swaying hips and a fair bust. She moved with a casual womanly stroll, there was no urgency or panic in their approach.

She moved with a regal air of authority and importance. It’s imprinted on her every movement and action. It’s in the air around her.
Closing the distance, half way she lifts her hands to her helmet and removes the clunky piece of armour.

The first thing noticed about this soldier is her bright pink hair. Second comes the ‘I don’t give a fuck’ attitude painted on her face.

She looks Evelyn over as she continues to approach. Her judgemental womanly gaze leading to a disproving grimace “Eh. You wanna get out of of those ticking time bombs strapped round your wrists? Bulky doesn’t suit you.” She pauses to ask. Her voice honeyed and smooth, clearly failing to take in the gravity of the situation and adding a playful twist to the seriousness of it all. Only giving Evelyn her attention momentarily before instead directing it to the piece of gum that she fished out of her jacket pocket and placed into her mouth.
“Well?” She added impatiently with an eye roll and a gesture telling Evelyn to hurry over to her.

Clay was ready and amped for battle. Filled with an unquenched bloodlust, he was excessively aggressive and desperate for combat. With the soldier now fallen it was clear his viscous growls were not only for him. Everybody on the field was a potential target for the wolf. The viscous snarls and snapping didn’t let up. He was watching and waiting for some movement to signify prey. Sniffing for that sweet scent of fear. Hoping just hoping something would run so he could give chase.
