I read no stories where the homosexual agenda is pushed. I read nothing where any evil is presented as a good thing without them trying to make a point using absurdity. I refuse to make any of my characters face that choice to be for it or against it, because I cannot logically say they would disapprove, nor can I morally let them approve. It's to prevent a contradiction in what the characters would do and what is reasonable to ask people to RP. And there's also the fact that it was banned literally so nobody would complain about it like both of us are doing now.

In short the question is if you're going to fight Mio having been in a relationship with a female character when you don't have ground to stand on.
- No biological, because their number, organization, and type of chromosomes are totally different.
- No culture since you think sex and gender are the same thing.
- No religious since you think there isn't any "advanced life" other than humans at all, and souls aren't sexed anyway. (Separate discussion.)
- No "can't be shown" because she's not in the relationship anymore, and any potential same-sex relations I'd do I was never going to go beyond what could be considered friends-only actions on-camera.

If you (by which I mean David for the purpose of this below the --- line) still want to fight it like you did when I first said all this, then tell me.

No cursing, well written, explains what he needs to get a point through, and I actually agree with him. If it won't occur via IC, then what bothers you guys? It sure as heck doesn't bother me either, and I do feel that we have been really harping on him. Give it a chance. Look, just think about my perspective in this. Instead of just saying "Okay, it was a male" you go out of your way to construct an elaborate loophole to a problem just because you didn't want to bend to the principle of it. Just saying she dated a guy makes this so much easier than opening up the species can of worms.

Yes but that fundamentally changes various characteristics of both of them.
For example, Mio prides herself on keeping her ----- (let's say virginity) intact, which makes her view on romance make more sense. Otherwise her never refusing a date but never having sex wouldn't make any sense.
Once a character is "born," it's not right to change them just to avoid someone disliking them. Imagine if that happened in real life. If suddenly one day you changed to have always been Buddhist. It's not fair to the character, to the character's world, to the writer, or to the reader. I came up with both characters simultaneously, so I can't just say "okay it was a male" and then have them show up later as a female.
If any significant event in a person or character's past is changed, then the whole person or character changes. Again, that's not fair to them.
The fact that I'm creating a bypass instead of just saying "fuck that" and making them the same sex of the same species or creating the other character as a male in the first place should show that it's something important to keep that I'm not doing just to piss you off or something.
Homosexuals exist. The likelihood of there being ONE interacting with the characters so far is literally zero. Adding a second that doesn't even count at least helps with realism, which in any other case dealing with biology you'd be pressing for just like I am now.
Considering that everyone bar possibly Soul and Tox are pretty set against it, I was fully expecting her not to get any second relationship with a female, so the only thing that you even need to deal with is when she explains her past or they interact, and even during that they're losing mental stability by being near each other.

There is no point of contention here other than your vacuum thoughts on it.

Plus, the species thing is something that should probably be covered anyway, and would be interesting if that includes covering the religious factor.
