I disagree. There are rules to this game, but the key isn't to go and break every one. You win by following what makes sense and planning your moves out accordingly. You're describing the anarchist path, which doesn't lead to winning the game. More often, it loses it rather badly.
You have to play the game willingly. You keep acting as if you automatically play it. If you don't choose to play then you don't have to follow it's rules. Again, spec against it.
"Work Experience." That's why college springboards me into a 100k starting salary job. Connections along with skill are the legitimate path.
