I assumed that cannibal just meant "eats their own kind". Therefore, I assumed the cannibal thought that the bar didn't serve his kind of "food", and therefore he should leave.
But since it says a human and a cannibal, how does the human not being served make sense for the cannibal to leave if the cannibal isn't human? That's why I'm confused.
The only thing I'm still confused about other than the capital "you" is why whizz thought the joke worked if the cannibal isn't human. :/

Yes, it would've. Glad we got that sorted. Also didn't intend nitpicking. I was talking about how I thought you read it correctly and were capitalizing on the first part of the definition, "a person who eats the flesh of other human beings" over the second and more accurate half of "a creature that eats members of it's own species."
Not seeing what's ad hominem there. :/
