Hey, you know what's annoying? Being self-centered. Getting mad at people for doing something instead of something else when they're just having fun sucks. Gotta love self-loathing, too.

I'd rather the ISP free market be restored by breaking up the monopolies. They got the power they have by lobbying and forcing the government to stick their hand in the internet, and I'd much rather the internet become open without any government influence. We got to this point because of government intervention and while net neutrality is the ultimate goal, I don't think the answer to government influence is more government influence.

If government enforced net neutrality is the only nn available, then it's worth getting. You don't reject cauterizing just because sutures would be better. That's not arguing for sutures, it's arguing for infection and atrophy.

I'm so glad that "'" doesn't work in urls.
A new Digimon Cyber Sleuth game is coming out in the next year or so, PBS is coming later this year, CF still doesn't have a fucking dub, Shimoneta is getting a dub apparently, and Gundam Versus is probably gonna be console only. For fuck's sake.
I'll get a post up hopefully tomorrow.

Alright. Fine.

Yay!
Ivo: Well then, you have my thanks. Farewell.

For the record, David and Whizz, not only am I locked in IC for everyone other than Ashe and Sayaka until you guys do stuff, but also if we ever want to play Minecraft again, we need to basically start over in a new pack with new updated additions. For example, Academycraft got a major update and finally fixed the Railgun, and changed how it works. So... yeah.

You keep referencing the "Infinty Problem" without explaining exactly what it is. It isn't known in spacetime theory, at least not by that name.
Still, an infinity Existence becomes problematic because it would require infinite matter and energy, which would also make it boundless. That brings up another set of issues, and there's no real reason to consider it infinite. A finite Existence fits into calculations much better without a lot of the issues an infinite land brings up.
The problem with 25% = 50% is rationalized by the idea that a quarter of endless is endless and half of endless is still endless, so if there are two enldlesses that fit into one endless space, one half of them must be one and one half the other. However, infinity is a set and not a value, and sets break simple algebra. If every fourth element of the set is 3 and the rest are 2, no matter how far along the set you go, the ratio will remain 3:1. It doesn't become 1:1 at any point just because it is infinite; they remain in a ratio regardless of the size of the set.
Numbers are a pure concept; that's why they make most scenarios totally impossible. I understand that you're saying it's totally restructured, but even in a restructure, it must follow certain mathematical principles to avoid collapse. Virtually every scenario beyond ours leads to total destruction, with few exceptions.
Parallel Source dimensions can be explained the same way differing Source dimensions can. The Nobility System did have a filter; most of the time, filters are passive rather than actively created and enforced by the System owners.
He could, but it's also really really hard to determine all of the balls that are spinning the wrong direction, especially when mixed in with other ones that aren't. The idea isn't that Ma'at can't differentiate them, but it's intended to use up all of her concentration, just like it would for the shipper, trying to notice all of the balls moving in the wrong direction. It would also be super easy to end up confusing the two directions when seeing them side by side enough, regardless of how well they know them.

The infinity problem is what I call the issue that if you have an infinite number, any fraction of it must also be infinity, otherwise the infinite number in question must be finite. More mathematical than physics based.
Yes, that's correct. Remember, the "fabric" that dimensions sit in don't have space or really an equivalent, so there isn't a boundary.
That's why duplicates and alternates of dimensions aren't counted. The remainder is still infinite, but can be calculated as if it were finite. That's part of why there are supposed to be unimaginably intelligent entities keeping track of everything instead of a few dozen war-winners.
That's part of our problem. You're using infinity as a set, and I'm using it as a numerical representation. That's the second part to the "infinity problem," because it can be both at the same time. It can serve as a value, making any portion of it also be infinity, and/or it can be a set of finite values, making every portion both infinite and finite. And since it's the "and" in question, it creates a problem when working with it. Hence the infinity "problem."
Again, you're working with only known rules. You can just as easily imagine a universe with totally different rules than ours, you just wouldn't be able to covert the laws into math without being able to observe an actualized case of that universe. Since we aren't able to do that, and since we can't do that process in reverse, you come out with that universe not being possible. It is imaginable to be possible, and therefor is possible within Existence. And from the infinity problem comes the rule that anything possible is probable, and further is the case. There are obvious exceptions to this, but this is the general rule for universes. And, since we aren't working in these universes often, there's no need to fully build the laws of it. We can't write up all the laws of it, but we can certainly imagine a stable universe where the only change is that gravity works in the opposite way that it does for us, and there is some other law that doesn't need exploration for our purposes, that offsets that difference to make it stable. Another simple change that can easily be worked with is one where cold is an energy and heat is a lack of cold. For all intents and purposes, all this means is that there is an absolute maximum heat and no absolute minimum heat. Obviously this would create other differences by necessity, but we don't have to explore them any more than we need to explore dark matter and dark energy in order to have a scenario on our earth.
I don't understand what you mean. Could you rephrase that? What way are you talking about?
I suppose, and that works in principle, I'm just trying to point out that the whole reason she's at the status she is is because that wouldn't take much of her concentration at all. Though to be fair on that, Seth has been brought back and she hasn't, so that can easily be explained by that.
Apologies for the double post but...

@DarkwolfX37

Yo maybe you should post before me so I know where I'm going with this car and getting your character.

Okie. Sorry, I just noticed this post. I don't think I'm going to get to do the thing I had planned though.
I've just been barely functioning lately. These past two days have been hell, too, so... I'll respond to David's science at some point and then post IC.
