Shmups are mostly pattern recognition, so once you get good at one Touhou game, it doesn't mean the rest come easy, unfortunately. You won't get lore through the games though because it's as cryptic as the Rosetta Stone.

See I told you I'm gonna die. I've been starting up practicing on other games but shit I'm gonna lose any edge I have since the first 1-4 games are block breakers. Plus if I somehow get Mania that'll lose any edge. Considering Freedom Planet too, trying to somehow 100 that.

Could you define older than Gil? As in, no Servants whose legends take place in a time before his story's setting, or none from a legend that was made before his, or literal age of the Servant?

I could probably take Lancer, if that's okay.
