We are still accepting applications.
@Aura: I don't know if @Nitemare Shape and @Hound55 have the same opinion, but the character sheet seems a little bare bones.

If you are still going with the imperfected serum, your character sheet does not explain how she has survived for ~5 months while her body rejects the serum. An example of this can be seen in this post.

Honestly, I feel that your character gaining her powers from the perfected serum might make more sense in this case. Her powers alone are enough of a "curse".
So with the current state of my laptop (it has decided to pursue a career as a non functioning lump of metal, I have been unable to change its mind), I have no way of reliably making posts on the guild. As a result, I'm dropping out of most of my role-plays so as not to let anyone down with late or nonexistent posts. Sorry for the inconvenience caused, at least Brian hasn't involved himself into the story too much so far.

That's a shame man! :/ Well if it's fixed, I know you'll be welcomed back with open arms!

What Natty said. Whenever you get a functioning computer, you are always welcomed back.

I'm waiting for Bucky to be accepted before posting Tarene and Bucky IC ^^"

My battle plan is as follows ... "Show up, wreck shit up, drink milk, have a nap"

x'D

Crap....*goes to check CS*

Edit: Bucky/Winter Soldier is approved.

Is there anyone else whose character sheet I accidentally overlooked?

Clint Barton | Barbara Morse

“I cannot believe she was capable of doing this.” Doctor Tumolo told Hawkeye and Mockingbird after they had arrived to investigate the recent incident at the doctor’s lab. “She seemed like such a smart and nice assistant.”

“Unfortunately, we have heard that line more often than not.” Hawkeye admitted as he peered around the laboratory. “You mentioned that you have had some inventory stolen. What exactly was lifted?”

“Oh, yes.” The doctor replied. She turned and lead the two S.H.I.E.L.D. agents back where her other assistants had found Greer Grant earlier that morning. “Besides the flash drive we found that she had left behind, there have been a few samples stolen from our lab.”

“Samples?” Mockingbird asked. She had crouched down to examine the spot where their suspect had been discovered. On the ground, there was a small splat of blood on the ground. Unless Greer had fell and hit her head while undergoing her transformation, this evidence seemed to be a little out of place.

“Let me check my files. We work with so many different species that it is hard to keep track of all of them.” Doctor Tumolo said as she walked away from the scene of the crime and back over to her office, where she logged into her computer and opened up one of the various files she had stored on that machine. “Alright, besides the tiger serum she injected herself with, several avian and reptile samples, including the Komodo dragon and harpy eagle serums, have went missing.

“Wait, I thought you guys were only using harmless animals?” Hawkeye questioned the doctor when he heard about which species had been used in Doctor Tumolo’s experiments.

“Well, we have only performed out experiments with herbivore DNA and we haven’t even proceeded to human trials on those. We don’t want another Curt Connor’s situation on our hands.”

“And yet we’re on a manhunt for a Furry.” Hawkeye quipped at the irony of the situation.

Then Hawkeye heard a buzzing of his communicator device on his belt. And when he answered the call, Clint was alerted that there was a sighting of Greer Grant. After they thanked the doctor for her assistance in their investigation, Hawkeye and Mockingbird hurried out of the lab.

“I told you it wouldn’t take long to find a girl with fur and a tail.” Hawkeye joked as he exited the building.

Chris had been glued to the television screen that had been playing Doctor Diplodoc’s televised broadcast. He hoped that there would be something that could clue him in on how they could disperse the domes. Even though the domes were expanding extremely slowly and were becoming less dense as a finite amount of material spreads out to cover a greater space, the domes would nevertheless affect countless people before the domes become so thin that the mutagenic effect would be harmless to humans. Chris kept hearing the same words spoken by Doctor Diplodoc, pondering on whether anything the scientist had said could be useful.

Then it hit him. Chris realized that this Doctor Diplodoc mentioned that he had a contingency plan set in place for preventing criminals in the countless prisons and jails from obtaining powers via the metadomes. Somehow, whatever device that the good doctor had planted in these facilities, they would prevent these certain individuals from being granted these gifts. Maybe somehow it could get rid of the domes.

Since Team 1 seemed to have a firm handle on its objective, Chris decided that it would be safe for him to head out to Tartartus Island, where one of Lost Haven’s prisons were located. Although Team 2 seemed to have run into a little trouble, if Team 1 could defeat Diplodoc’s allies, they could go and apprehend the good doctor.

“Guys,” Chris said into his earpiece that was connected to those worn by the other heroes. “I might have a lead on getting rid of these darn domes. Also, Icon, be ready to fly back. I might have a job for you”

Doctor Diplodoc sat in his chair, peering at the multiple monitors that stood in front of him. Although he had underestimated the number of heroes that would rally against him, he still had a back-up plan. Before the heroes arrived, he had the Silver Sorceress cast a spell that, if released from the bottle that it had been contained in, would act like a second wind for his allies. Diplodoc’s allies would either receive a boost of energy or regain consciousness if they had been knocked out.

He reached out and picked up the enchanted bottle. When he pulled off the bottle’s lid, a blue colored gas billowed up, hanging above him. After it lingered there for a couple minutes, the magically-enchanted cloud darted out of the room and headed towards his allies. First, it passed by where Effigy was located. Since Doctor Diplodoc did not want this spell to blow Effigy’s cover, the Silver Sorceress designated the spell to affect both Effigy and the person whom Effigy was mimicking.

Then, the cloud passed over the second team, leaving them bewildered about what had just happened. The enchantment zoomed away until it arrived in the room where the large battle was being fought. It first reenergized both Jaws and Sumac, the Silver Sorceress’ sister, who were the only two villains still standing. With this second wind, Jaws’ barrage of punches flew all the faster at Lyger and Bast, whom he had been engaged with ever since he switched targets with Black Widow. Once it was finished with Jaws and Sumac, the charm then restored Black Widow and the Silver Sorceress from being unconscious.

Black Widow was the first to leap back into the fray, engaging with the two speedsters, as was her task before Radiance decided to fry the drider. Meanwhile, the Silver Sorceress received different orders from their leader, Doctor Diplodoc.

“Begin our endgame.” He calmly spoke into her ear piece.

“I don’t know why we did not start with this spell.” The Silver Sorceress retorted at the doctor’s commands.

“Because our endgame hinges on more than just your magic, Victoria.”

The Silver Sorceress then turned to her sister. Without anything besides a nod being exchanged between the two sisters, they knew what they needed to do. Since this spell would put her sister in a vulnerable state, Sumac had to stand by to provide her with support. The silver-clad woman held her hands close together as she whispered her magical words into her palms. Suddenly, all the light within her vicinity began to rush into the small space between her hands. While the room began to dim, a sphere of light began to form between the sorceress’ hands. Soon, the entire area would be shrouded in darkness, except for the light being emitted by the ball that the Silver Sorceress held.

I was thinking maybe one of the guinea pigs before he got the serum correct. A bit Wolverine/Deadpolesque. Would Dr.Diplodoc done something like that or should I just say another Doctor or something had been working on a serum at the same time ... or something

Actually...prior to August, he was experimenting on "guinea pigs" with an incomplete serum. These subjects would slowly suffer from their bodies rejecting the serum. So this could work.
Same, I'm still struggling with the post I was supposed to get up two days ago.

I know the feeling.

I was reading known events and would it be acceptable to make a character that had been experimented on by the scientist from the Pax Metahumana story? I was thinking she could have gained her powers from that and think of them as some sort of curse kinda thing.
If so if anyone has already established how long he's been planning this and how he experimented and stuff, I would really love to know to see if it would work with my character :)

Well, there are two options here. Your character could have either received her powers from the domes that have appeared as of this current story arc or was directly given to her by Doctor Diplodoc (just like my PC's Raptor and Arachne). For the first option, the domes have been around for only a couple hours at the shortest and maybe a day at the longest. Furthermore, these domes are isolated to a few major US cities (Philadelphia, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Seattle) , so so your character would have to have been in one of those cities to have been affected by the domes.

For the second option, there is a larger window for your character to have gained her powers. It is currently late February/early March in the IC. Doctor Diplodoc has had a working serum since August of the previous year (i.e. the same time when Raptor gained his powers). Between then and the current time in the IC, Doctor Diplodoc has been gathering individuals in order to give them powers. Some have remained with him (e.g. those metahumans siding with him in the current story arc), while others have not (e.g. Raptor, Arachne, etc).

A good analogy for Doctor Diplodoc's serum would be either the artificial serum from Heroes or the Terrigen from Agents of SHIELD (minus the whole being covered in rocks part). The serum grants superhuman powers to non-metahumans. While the majority of characters affected by this serum have some sort of animal-like characteristic(s), it is not a requirement.
@Dedonus just realized that you never actually had Spidey show up at Yellowjacket yet, only had him prepare to suit up! Should i edit my post or?

Let me read through it and see what you wrote. Also, the first part of your post reminded me of this scene in the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Edit: No, the reference is fine.
I'll get that post up...eventually.

Hopefully sooner than later...
