Remember, nobody actually enjoys roleplaying if there isn't at least five shameful fetishes uncovered by the 2nd page.

Somebody stole my mood ring. I don't know how to feel about it.

Let's be honest, it's far more satisfying and challenging to actually imagine what a character looks like than paste a hundred gifs of a celebrity and call it good.

So, a team of players who are good at playing as a team in a team-based game are individually bad players. Seems kind of silly when you put it like that, no?

My goal these days is to have an RP that can actually finish, or the very least, last a few years. I see way too many die on page one to take chances
If I may, I just want to point out that the physical stamina weakness might be a concern to some degree, since if I was reading right, the company marched from the Reach to Eastmarch. I don't know how many carriages would be going with them save as baggage trains (if any).
It would be an interesting challenge to overcome to be sure, but I just thought I'd mention it in case it leads to unintentional consequences for Hank's character, like the bosses deciding she isn't worth the effort if she can't keep up.
I'll find you in one of those buildings and katana you right in the fruits, Piggu.
So a Jap walks into a BAR...
Jesus, @Dervish. I'm glad to hear the treatment is working.
Tell me about it! I'm hoping the doctors are going to go over the last MRI tomorrow and decide when to kick me out of here and give the bed to somebody worse off than I am. But thanks for your concerns, I have lots of reasons to get better and go home.
On the plus side, short term disability from work should give me plenty of opportunity to keep myself healthy until they gut me like a fish.

Filthy pig-iron katana is no match for glorious Soviet engineering
Da, tovarich.
Also, I need to buy more food for my Mosin. I found I think Czech surplus for about 240 bucks for about 700 rounds, I just need to figure out if it's corrosive or not because I prefer not to clean my bolt action rifles every time I go shooting.
@Dervish, I hope you either get better sooner than expected or that you get better than expected right on time.
I am debating the potential benefits and risks of having Utu become isolated behind enemy lines and forced into the water. Here he would be able to use his dagger and ambush tactics to grapple any of the enemy that were beside the water with their backs to it and let the water finish them. However, he would be unable to rejoin the rest of the mercenaries for some time. This could be useful for plot but also potentially awkward.
Thanks, bud! Hopefully glorious healing is working.
Too bad this shit wasn't like Elder Scrolls where you kind of waltz into a temple, dick slap a shrine, and you're cured of all ailments.
Unless you're a filthy vampire, because apparently the gods forsake you if you don't want to enjoy human blood smoothies on a bi-nightly basis.
Can I just point out that this RP started 3 months ago, and we already have 92 IC posts? I don't think I've ever made it past 40-50! This RP is like a heavenly playground full of writing adventure for me (: I've never been in any RP where the players are as dedicated to the RP as this one, could just be the fact that its Skyrim-related, and there's a deep thirst for it, but truly, this RP fucking rocks my socks. I love you guys. All of you.
From personal experience, I find that people who like roleplaying Elder Scrolls have been by far the most committed and enthusiastic of any roleplay theme I've been a part of. Shafty and I were running a few RPs together for years and they were going super dooper well until people just collectively decided to not post for a number of lame ass reasons.
The fact this RP is going at this pace while we're in the middle of a school semester tells me that the people here either don't have nearly as bad of school commitments, or just really good time management skills.
But d'aww. I hope I fit in with the gang and help craft the bestest story ever. Of all time. Making some friends is also a win.

Can't say I know what it feels like, but I'm with you. You can probably ask your boss for more paid sick days. I know someone having Crohn's and she got a three-month paid leave.
Not sure which hospital you're staying, but some let do let pets in. There's a new trend with animal therapies, might be worth looking into.
Anyways, stay tough, we're behind ya.
@Leidenschaft Put me in the PM list if you haven't started. Need to keep my little minions under watchful eye.

It's possible, but only for a short duration. That would happen as a short collab between you and I, something around hours, IC time.

Thank you, thank you.
I appreciate that, and I'm doing pretty good the past few days (especially since I got the feeding tube out of my nose; hooooly shit, NEVER AGAIN. I've been CS gassed, which is a riot control gas, in the army, and I found that infinitely less panic inducing as getting a tube shoved down your nose, throat, and into your stomach), so hopefully I'll be out and acting like nothing wrong happened before you know it. The support is nice, and I sincerely hope none of you guys have to go through what I am. Makes trying to be healthy and active hella hard.
You already know how I feel about these things, but that sounds mad stupid, yo. I'm glad that you're feeling okay now, though! Maybe one of these days when you get released from whatever 5-star resort of a hospital you're at with a nice view, we can continue our feud in Heroes of Stalingrad/Rising Storm, mein Freund/Filthy Gaijin?
You mean you want me to reacquaint you with my Moist Nugget from 300 meters?
You're a total sweetheart, @Dervish. And what's this about you being in the hospital? I hope you recover soon.
<Snipped quote by Leidenschaft>
Yeah, I hear and agree with you. I'll give it another go.
I have Crohns disease and it decided that after taking a few years off of making my life a living hell it wanted to put me back in hospital. Basically, my guts have a crazy amount of infection going on and abscesses out the wazoo that's led to complications that will mean me going in for surgery in 2-3 months to have parts of my intestine removed before it spreads and destroys the healthy tissues. I feel pretty good right now, so the treatments seem to be holding (I'm even typing this not hooked up to an IV! How magical is that?), and I hope to be discharged over the next few days. I miss my dog, I gotta say.
But yeah, long story short, guts started hurting a lot, I lost 30 pounds in 2 months, I couldn't really eat, and work was murdering me with a shift that effectively made me work 60 out of 70 days. It decidedly sucked.
I can vouch for Hank's ability as a roleplayer and creative capacity; we played a couple games together and he had some really creative and fun characters.
I know you'll be back in top form in no time, bud!
I mean the reasons why they aren't shooting ballistas at people are well and good, but c'mon. The walls should look like Attack on Titan because I am a man of simple tastes, and that taste is an evolved form of launching pencils from elastics at my classmates in public school.
I know right? Is like they don't want you to look up treatments beforehand or something...
<Snipped quote by Haeo>
maybe flaming ones?
It's odd, I can load webpages and post without issue, but do anything that involves streaming data, it slows down to Lenny from Of Mice and Men levels.
As for arrows, I always thought any city worth it's salt should have a shitload of ballistas. Nothing sends quite an elegant "up yours" as getting impaled by a 2 meter long shaft of hardwood and hatred.
Not to worry my friend; I know our local hospital always had crappy wi-fi. Must be a hospital thing, I guess. XD If you would like to do a collab, I can do it over PM, if that's more compatible and stuff - I would be interested to see our only Khajiiti members finally meeting. :)
I'm up for PMs! Might take me a little while to get the post done, but I'm down for the hairball convention. ;D
I'd volunteer for a collab, but I am like 90% sure the hospital wifi isn't fast enough to make using a pad feasible. I can't even sign on Steam or Skype.
