@Axilmeus Steel Accepted.
<Snipped quote by Pudding>That is the official evolution of the character as presented in X-Evolution.

@DoubleFair enough, I won't participate. I just want to say one thing unless you plan for the players to fight each other, my character would be able to do the same for all the players, which would mean there is no issue with balance or lack of.

That wasn't really my point. I mean the illegal card thing is logical and makes sense from a realistic perspective, but it still feels... wrong to to do that somehow. Anyway, my main concern was Nicole finding out a few too many of the secrets and plot twists I have planned due to her background as someone literally infiltrating D-Connect to get dirt on them. It could have spoiled certain plot things early on and that wouldn't have been very fun.
@Axilmeus Steel Yes, but you may be the last one I allow for now unless something changes.
@tobiax Yeah looks good. Quick question though: how well known is he online? I can't help but think there could be some tension or animosity between the two resident professional gamers.

@Burning Kitty@Pudding Hmm, I'm inclined to agree with Pudding here. A hacker character is an interesting idea in concept. In practice, however, I can't help but think that hacking codes and bootlegging cards would be horribly unbalanced. I should also point out that D-Connect is a rather huge corporation. It's famous worldwide and apart from its main HQ in Japan it also has branch offices in Europe and North America. It's not easy to infiltrate is what I'm saying. Plus, your character's background would potentially make her privy to secrets and information that I'm not ready nor willing to reveal this early on.
Everyone's looking good so far. Keep up the good work. Finished my own character by the way. He's already in the character tab.
@Pudding To answer your second question, no, you don't begin with your partner. The characters are experienced at the game and have used Digimon within the game, but they do not have any real Digimon partners until the plot gives them one.

Edit: They did. And we probably will too when the Digivolutions start happening. But they won't happen right away due to plot reasons. So basically the Cards are gonna have to be the interim method for powering up at first.
@Pudding It would probably just be the Digi-Modify thing that Tamers did. Apply a speed up, power up, temporary wings, temporary equip weapons from higher level Digimon. That sort of thing.

In all honesty I'm not a huge fan of that list. If I knew where to find a list for the cards used in Tamers that would be a godsend.
@Burning Kitty This page should give us what we need Card-wise. Chances are we'll probably play fast and loose with the Cards because otherwise the battles would get bogged down.
@Letter Bee@Pudding If you're using the term "randiness" in the way I think you are, then keep that sort of thing private. The site has rules about mature content after all.

I haven't settled on an age range for characters yet. In fact I was kind of hoping for feedback on the subject. Without spoiling too much, I will say that what I have planned may not be very fitting for suitable for characters who are young kids. I'm more inclined to lean toward High School or maybe even early College age range, sort of like what Savers/Data Squad did.
